I Drove All the Way from Tampa

I looked online at all Nissan Dealerships within a 75 mile radius and there are at least 7 of them I could have chosen. I'd already been treated poorly by the Numbers Guy in Brandon and was assured over the phone that my experience would be better. And it was..... Their prices are great, our sales rep Tyler was efficient, courteous and knowledgable and was able to negotiate a sale. I now am the proud owner of a beautiful 2015 Rogue that gets great gas mileage and looks stunning. The facility was relaxed and there was no pressure, only a willingness to meet my demands every step of the way when possible. The Numbers Gal was proficient and reassuring and the General Manager was pleasant and accommodating. I looked around and found the best price and feel it was worth driving an hour each way to find my car. Thank you Gettel Nissan

Very Disappointed, was led-on/Deceived

Hi, I and my fiance' bought a new 2014 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x2. At first was skeptical of buy because vehicle didn't have 4WD & that white is hard to keep clean. I asked if the 4x4 4WD package could be installed later on. I was told yes. However, afterwards I learned that this is costly and not recommended. I honestly should have saved me the gas went to Palm Toyota because it's closer. Plus, they actually have 4x4 Limiteds available. For your sake, don't waste your time with Gettel. They lie just to make a sale making too many promises they can't keep, the Scilon treatment is hog-wash, & to get the 4WD I want I will just have to trade the 14 4Runner for a 15. Great Pace to Buy a Vehicle

I would like to thank all the staff at Gettel Toyota for assisting us in the purchase of our new Prius C. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from them and both times have been very good. I was supprised to get a call from them telling me that they could lower my interest and length of loan. We went in and was helped by Hector V in sales and in no time we were signing papers on our new car. They did as they had promised and we are very happy with this dealership. We are happy to be part of the Gettel Toyota Family!!

Worthless Maintenance Warranty

I purchased a 2010 Corrolla in January 2011. Because I travel, I purchased a maintenance warranty for $1150 to pre-pay all recommended maintenance for 100,000 miles so that my wife would not have to question what services were needed. After 2 calls, my wife received a partial coupon book. The dealer did not send the entire book and would use coupons from different mileage intervals. At 60,000 miles all the coupons were used and we had gotten only $342 worth of maintenance. The dealer has refused to provide the remaining coupons, noting the person who sold us the warranty no longer worked there. Saw that in Gainesville that the Gettel dealership had been investigated by the state of FL for similar practices and are under a AVC in Orange County, FL. I REFUSE to deal with this [non-permissible content removed] dealership anymore. Working through Toyota to try and have my contract honored.

Excellent experience

Bought a new 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Dealt exclusively with the Internet Sales Dept, which is headed by Sonny N. He was very good to work with, no pressure, and gave us excellent service during the whole process. In the future, whenever I buy a new car, it will be only via the Internet Sales Dept, instead of via the traditional method of visiting the dealership and then prolonged haggling over the desk with the salesperson.

Great experience

Overall, a great experience thanks to the hard work and dedication of Malibu in making a sale. Thanks to him, I drove an hour to see the car (Lexus) I was interested in and instead left with a much better car (Hybrid Camry) that suited my needs. As a matter of fact, the Camry was more expensive and Malibu, with the magic of Gettel Toyota, was able to make the sale by staying within "my" bottom line. I absolutely love the car! Thank you!!

BEWARE BUYER DON'T BUY HERE DISHONEST PEOPLE HERE

We were told we could get up to $9200 off a 2012 Camry and a Toyota rep. actually waved a check made out for $9200 that they said would be applied to the car. When we sat down and waited for their employee to go back and forth to the manager, he came back with only $300 off sticker. Even the sales lady said they would get close to the $9200 off THE CAR. . I would never go back here as I got that slimy dishonest dealer feeling right from the start. I should have trusted my instincts and never got involved with them. Don't waste your time with this new but very dishonest dealer.

Deceptive pricing by Gettel

Gettel uses deceptive price advertisements. I found a certified 2009 Toyota Camry at Gettel Toyota web site and cars.com search. I contacted Gettel sales staff, inquired about their dealership fee and made an appointment to go see the car. When I arrived at the dealership, I found out that besides the ask price and dealership fee of 599.00 they are going to charge an additional 1200 for reconditioning and documentation fee. The car is advertised as a certified vehicle and charging customers an extra 1200 is just deceptive advertising to bring customers in with false promises and then pressure them when they are there. This is the only dealership I have found with this kind of practice. They wasted my time and the effort I had put in to convince my wife to go look at that Camry.

Poor Management at Gettel Toyota in Bradenton Florida

My Sister, daughter and I drove to Gettel today for an entry to win a new car on January 1, 2010. We also were to receive a giftcard for Target. We filled out the entry and gave them to a very nice young man who is a salesman. We asked for the giftcard and he brought back one. We asked if we could each have one. He talked with his Manager then came back. He said we only would received one and we asked to speak with the Manager (Todd Scott Coover). This was a three day event and the flyer said to the first 100 people to attend each day. It opened at noon today (Sunday). We got there at 11:45am and were the first ones in. We all went to the Manager's office (Todd Scott Coover). He asked if he could help us and we said we would each like a gift card. He said he didn't have anymore. My Sister said the ad said to the first 100 people to attend each day and asked him for the ad. He said he didn't have one and asked if we had ours. We said no. He said maybe you should have read the ad closer. No where does it say or until supplies run out. He was very arrogant and I said that to him. He said you are arrogant. My Mother, Sister and myself have each bought a vehicle at Gettel and those are the last we will buy there. I also am switching my service to another dealership. The principle was not the giftcard, the principle was I believe they should be honest and I don't think he was. I believe he was lying. Also that customer service had gone down so much in the last year that I will no longer buy a Toyota from them.

Great Dealer!

We have been dealing with Gettel Toyota ever since they came to Bradenton. Prior to that, beginning in 1981, we dealt with Sands Toyota who sold the dealership to Gettel. Every time we have purchased an automobile from them it has been a great experience. A friend of mine hops from dealer to dealer browbeating the salesman. He spends more time walking away that we spend buying a car! I doubt that he ever gets as good a "deal" as we do. The dealership know we will return the next time we need a car! Also they know that the car we trade in has been maintained by them.
