Very Good Dealership

I purchased my Mazda last summer and was very satisfied with my experience. I nearly bought from another dealership that I actually could have gotten the car for about $200 less but in the end, the salesman at Hertrich's won me over with his professionalism and attentiveness. Also, their service department is great. The service men are polite, friendly and very professional. I feel like they really know their business.

Great service at a great price. I was actually starting of on an all day tour past 5 dealers, but with the dedicated people working here I didn't need to look any further! I'm delighted with my 2006 Jeep Liberty, and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants value for their money without the usual sales catches!

One dreary cold night I stumbled into the lot at Hertrich's Capitol and was greeted by my salesman, Jerry D. I had been searching for months for the right car and had been test driving various makes and models of cars for several days straight. I had read the many reviews about the Mazda 3 Hatchback and was not disappointed when I finally test drove that sweet car! I wanted a lease and was trading in my Bimmer which was equally awesome, a BMW x3 SUV- the mileage I was getting on a tank of gas was killing me! I didn't realize that the dealer name was Hertrich's otherwise I would have run away as fast as I could! I had a REALLY aweful experience at another Hertrich's while recently looking at Prius's and another horrible experience when I had bought a ford focus for my son a few years back. When Jerry had gotten permission from his manager, Eric M. for me to take the Mazda 3 overnight to show my husband, we were chatting and joking around( the guy has an amazing sense of humor) I started telling him about the nightmares I had experienced at Hertrich's in the past, and he calmly said to me..."Do you know the name of our dealership,Jen?" And I replied "Capitol Mazda- Lincoln- Suzuki, why?" That's when he broke the news to me that I was at Hertich's Capitol. Boy did we laugh! The next day after having the Mazda 3 overnight, my husband test drove it back to the dealership and was very impressed. Although the wheeling and dealing and finalization of the deal was an all day process( Needs a bit of work, guys), we left with my 2013 Mazda 3 Hatchback and a good deal. Both Jerry D. and Eric M. are great guys and actually fun to work with, The also make an excellent cup of coffee with their Keurig Coffee Machine!

Had a very good experience purchasing a new car. Salesperson, Jerry D. was excellent in working with us to explain all of our options on the different models of Mazda. He was very thorough in showing us how to set up and use all of the technical equipment on the car. Would recommend Jerry and this dealership to friends.

I just recently purchased a used 2007 Mazda 3 at this location. My sales representative, Clyde, was awesome! He walked me through each step little by little to make sure I was sure about the decision I was making. I was able to purchase a vehicle in my price range without being sold monthly statements that would be out of my league. Along with Clyde, all the other staff that I spoke with were very courteous and helpful. If you want a good experience and a great buy, this is the place to go! They take good care of their customers!

I purchased a 2012 Mazda3 Grand Touring from Hertrich Capitol. I was desperately in need of a new vehicle and the sales representative, Jerry D., and sales manager Eric helped to make the deal work to fit my budget. They gave me a great value on my trade-in vehicle and worked feverishly to make the numbers work to fit my budget. I appreciate all they have done for me and I would recommend that any who needs assistance in purchasing a vehicle to go and see Jerry. Jerry, and his team, will do the best they can to get you into a vehicle for the price to fit your budget. Hertrich Capitol was both courteous and treated me with respect. I will be back in the Hertrich Capitol office to see Jerry the next time I purchase a vehicle for sure!

We stopped at Hertrich's Capital prior to going to an appointment at another dealership. Jordan greeted us and listened to the criteria we had for a new vehicle. He looked at his inventory and found lovely 2008 Acadia. As lifelong GM owners, this made my husband and myself very happy. Although the vehicle had greater mileage than we had originally specified, the rest of the SUV was wonderful. Eric, the sales manager and Jordan worked to get the price of our trade and the payment of the new vehicle to a comfortable (for us) amount. Everyone was helpful, friendly, professional and un-stressful to be around. I believe I have found my favorite dealership in Kent County!

Wow, if I knew buying a car wasn't as difficult as the last dealership I went to, I would have traded mine in a long time ago! I came in with a 2011 with 40k on it, initially to look at a 2001 BMW, figuring I would have to go older to lower my payments (I knew I was going to have a hefty rollover from my 2011). I had been in contact with the salesman Luis G. during the day, he had taken the BMW out, and had it ready and waiting for me when I got there! After a quick drive I let them run my credit and the manager Travis came to talk to me. I couldn't be approved for an older model but I had options. They got me in a BRAND NEW 2012 Mazda 3 (last year's model obviously but with only 9 miles on it!) AND reduced my payment $120! I was in and out with a brand new car in 3 hours, and a majority of that wait was getting all the paperwork done, because they were pretty busy for a Friday night. Even the guy in finance was awesome. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable, they obviously enjoyed not only working there, but with each other. Great place to go. And I never have to go back to the "OTHER" dealership again!!

I just had to write about my wonderful car buying experience at Hertrich Capitol. It was time for a trade in and I was searching online for comparable vehicles and went to the Hertrich Mazda website and saw a great deal. I set up an appointment to go in and Im so glad I did as I am now the happy owner of a Mazda 3. Jordan was on hand to help us and was knowledgeable and professional. I was also impressed at how the Mazda team members work together. We were introduced to staff in the service department and the parts department -- that says a lot to me. I also have to say a special thank you to Sales Manager Eric and to Sam. If you are looking for a vehicle, I would recommend you visit Hertrich Capitol.
