Highly Recommend New Country Mini

by carcustomer5 on 04/14/2016

Just leased new Countryman from Joe Sajda at New Country. Enjoyed dealing with Joe and this dealership, as we have with previous Mini Coopers we have leased through him.

Used car sale

by JOviJOv16 on 02/06/2016

Ben Wetmore at New Country Mini, was a very helpful associate that assisted me through my first car purchase. Each question was answered promptly, he was very knowledgeable and also had a great team that was very inviting.

I Couldn't Be Happier

by tippykayak on 09/14/2012

I was looking into buying a MINI Countryman. I had previously test driven two and was getting ready to order one for myself back in April of 2011. However, with the popularity of the model, it looked like I was going to have to wait longer than I wanted. So I called NCM to talk to them about the 11 Countryman (Countrymen?) they had in stock. Within 24 hours, I was up there looking them over and found one that pretty much exactly the options I would have ordered. Despite the fact that they had the last few of a popular car, they didn't try to gouge me for it, and everybody I worked with was friendly, solicitous, and low-pressure. They even gave me a fair deal on my trade-in. I get very annoyed very easily by arrogant car salespeople and high pressure tactics, and I've walked out of dealerships on several occasions when I felt somebody was clueless, manipulative, or dishonest. Nobody I've met at NCM is like that. Everybody, especially Joe, my sales guy, made me feel like I was joining a family of quirky car enthusiasts. Everybody was incredibly patient with my questions and totally willing to stop at any point in the process to make sure I felt happy. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. After my purchase, they've taken incredible care of me. I've done dealer service on other brand cars for years, and I've never felt the same level of care and the same speed at responding to my inquiries and scheduling appointments. If you really want to make sure somebody will give you their undivided attention for as long as you need, definitely call ahead for a sales appointment. They're low pressure, so if you just walk into the showroom, they may not want to bother you or make you feel like you're under pressure to buy. But even if you do walk in, just talk to somebody and they'll bend over backwards for you. On my first sales visit, I had to ask for help, but once I did, I had all my questions answered and test drove a car on the spot. On my second, I had called ahead and really got the royal treatment.

Bought my MINI there and still loving it!

by bulou on 06/18/2012

I needed a car and I liked the low pressure approach when I visited New Country MINI for the first time. I test drove 3 different cars and then ended up buying a different one entirely. The reason was the car I bought was one I picked with all my options I wanted. AWESOME!! The car is now 18 months old and as much fun to drive as day 1. I normally can't stand dealers and their services but this is very different. I now drive an hour to get my car serviced and New Mini is very accomodating. I recommend them to my friends and I will continue to do so.

Great First Experience

by brfour019 on 06/09/2012

My first experience with New Country Mini in Hartford CT was in November 2011. Right from the beginning they were great. Before deciding on my first Mini I got the chance to browse the showroom and lot, PRESSURE FREE. Never once did I feel intimidated or pushed into anything by any of the staff. They were great, courteous and knowledgeable. My Mini of choice was ready as promised. Overall my entire purchase was the smoothest I've experienced. New Country Mini is great to their customers; always inviting them back for different events (ie. Mini rides, service clinics etc...). That alone makes the customer feel they matter and that this dealer is not just out for the quick sale and your money. Their service division is the best I have ever experienced. Marissa, Service Concierge rocks it!! She knows her stuff, is extremely pleasant, and has always been any of my many questions. It is a great feeling to know that not only did I finally purchase my first Mini but new Country is still there for me if I need anything. I would without a doubt recommend this dealer for your Mini purchase!!! Thank you New Country Mini!!!

Arrogant Staffing

by eurodude on 03/02/2011

The other day I went to test drive a vehicle that had taken weeks to become available. Upon entering the dealership there was nobody around to help. I located the manager who asked me "to wait a minute" so he could finish some paperwork. It was the most sterile environment I'd ever experienced - having test driven 5 cars in the last few weeks that says something. The sales associate was actually worse! He could not have been less interested in helping me. Who trains these people on customer service? No friendly smile. No questions of interest in getting to know you - the CUSTOMER! They made no compelling reasons to even buy a car from them versus another Mini dealer when I asked. The only item they could list was "we have a good service department". He was so arrogant and totally unfriendly that I would willingly spend $1,000 more at another Mini dealer just if they sincerely said "hello". Bad vibe here! Stay away!

Bad service, rude sales guy, what a waste of time.

by crazycory on 05/14/2010

Wife and I went to New Country MINI yesterday trying to get one of the cars in the lot we test drove a while ago. The test drive was pretty bad experience too. We were left in the showroom for about 15 minutes before somebody asked us if we needed help. Any ways, after we started talking about the price, things got bad when the sales guy found out we did our research on Edmunds. He became rude and impatient, and we were politely asked to leave. Very bad experience. I bought many cars in my life and this is the most unpleasant experience I've ever had. It seems that they don't like well prepared customers, probably because the sales guy was not prepared at all. He doesn't even know the special discount they put on their own website. If you are smart, organized and like to be well prepared for things, take your business somewhere else. They had enough business by ripping off unprepared customers so they don't want you in their showroom.

What a waste of time

by rvh1 on 07/23/2008

Saturday we called at 3:30 and received a message that all sales people were outside and we left our contact information, so we drove 45 minutes to see a mini cooper and talk with someone. When we arrived at 4:30 we saw 3 sale people that were all with customers. So we looked around and found one of the minis open so we looked. After about 5 mins 2 of the sales people finished up and their customers left. Neither of them asked if we needed help or questions. Instead they did all their closing procedures. Another couple arrived after us and left after 5 mins. after being ignored. One of the sales people actually was locking us inside of the showroom. We had to ask to be let out and left. When we had turned out of the driveway we get a call from someone at the dealer. This was our worse dealership experience. You can't sell cars if you ignore your customers
