great customer service

by fstanley1 on 12/21/2016

Although I have not bought a car from these guys, their customer service is second to none. Always helpful and knowledgeable. I've mainly worked with Greg P. and his no pressure approach has been a big relief. It has enabled my to be comfortable on the sales floor and helped in making the right decision for our family. Thanks again to the team.

Good Car, Terrible Service

by Ranjani_V on 03/14/2014

Briefly: TERRIBLE customer service; IGNORANT salespeople; GREAT car and monetary value. Overall, I DO recommend the dealership but be WARY of the salespeople's knowledge and the treatment you may receive. Details: I'm a first-time car-purchaser, and I went to Tynan's to buy a car. I (some would argue, mistakenly) told them that I had never bought a car before and that I was brand new to the experience (of buying a car). I was assigned to a salesperson who seemed very personable and attentive to my needs. I spent 7 HOURS in the dealership to close my contract. First, I test-drove the Altima 2013 model and loved it. I wanted to buy it, but because of financial issues, I was offered to lease the Altima 2014 model. At that point, my salesperson told me that the 2014 model had the same exact build as the 2013 model, except for a few differences in the features. Since they didn't have a 2014 Altima on the lot, they sent for someone to get one. I was never offered to test-drive the 2014 model, and I didn't know I was supposed to ask for a test-drive (I didn't have to ask for test-driving the 2013 Altima). The floor manager later told me it was MY FAULT that I didn't test-drive the car. Back to the narrative, I leased the 2014 model, and I was the last one to leave the store. I started to drive my new 2014 home. Right away, it felt completely different and my elbow hurt while I drove it. My elbow kept hitting against the middle section of the car, and no matter how I adjusted the seat, the problem persisted. I drove the car back to the dealership 2 days later (I used it for 1 day to see if I was imagining the pain, but I wasn't). I was very upset (irate), anxious, and taken aback that the car felt terrible even though I was told it was exactly the same as the 2013 model. The salesperson failed to usher me into an office to address my concerns. Indeed, an irate customer should not be left on the floor to a problem. I complained and demonstrated my problem to the salesperson. She had no solution to the problem and said nothing; yet, she validated the problem and recognized that there was a difference between the 2013 and 2014 models. At that point, the floor manager got involved. When I showed him the problem, he refused to validate or recognize my issue. In fact, he was VERY rude and confrontational with me, accusing me of lying and making things up. I demonstrated how the problem occurred, but nevertheless he blamed me and threatened to end the conversation. I was distraught that nobody helped me and that nobody was able to fix the problem. Fifteen minutes later, the sales manager (who was witnessing the scene the entire time since it all occurred on the sales floor) FINALLY came and heard my complaint and this was still on the sales floor. He never offered his office as a place to discuss my problem. When I showed him what was occurring in the car seat, he was able to fix it because, UNLIKE THE SALESPEOPLE, he was aware of how all of the settings on the drivers side worked. It was the placement of the wheel that was causing the entire problem. Once the sales manager adjusted the wheel correctly, the problem disappeared. Neither the salesperson nor the floor manager I had shown the problem to were equipped with the correct knowledge of the vehicle, and thus could not solve the problem (which ended up having a simple solution). Keep in mind, this is the DRIVER'S seat I'm talking about, and the salespeople ought to be able to inform clients about ALL of the adjustments, to the driver's seat especially. Finally, I drove home comfortably, but very exhausted after the whole fiasco on the sales floor, and very appalled by the ignorance of the salespeople and the by terribly rude floor manager. Ultimately, I love the car. Eventually, Tynan's and I resolved the situation to my satisfaction, with an additional 6 oil changes during the 3-year lease of the 2014 Nissan. Although I'm very disappointed with the customer service, I'm very happy with the end product.... so, I DO recommend Tynan's but be wary about the employees and their knowledge, and the customer service you may receive.

You want HOW MUCH!?

by junglecruzr on 01/21/2012

found a nissan altima S on there web site sale price was 18650 got to the dealership and the saleperson wasn't sure where the car was on the lot (BUT my wife found it) we drove it, went inside to make the deal and the saleman came back willing to let us have it for only 19260 and that was rock bottom pricing. Since I wasn't a college student I couldn't get the 18650 price.. well The web site said nothing about that.. I'm not a college student but I didn't fall off the turnip truck either.

Poor salesmanship

by desertprancer on 04/18/2011

We purchased a used vehicle and were not pleaed with the way we were treated. The salesman was very slow returning phone calls and did not seem genuinely interested in providing good customer care. he made it seem like he constantly had more important matters to tend to. He tried to sell us a make of vehicle we were not interested in. I would not recommend them and we'll never go back.

Good Experience

by wyok on 02/07/2011

I found the vehicle I wanted on the dealer's website. I was quoted a fair price. I drove from Sheridan, WY to pick up my new car. Everything was ready and there no hassels.
