Un-Finished Business

Sad that I should have to do this. But here I am non the less. I picked up my 2015 Silverado on the 27th of October Last Year, after recall and warranty work. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed (2) Plugs missing from the "Factory Installed Bedliner". After several attempts I finally talked with the Service Writer. I sent him pictures including one of the missing Plug I removed from another location on the liner. It had a Part Number. Seem's easy enough, order the part. But that's where everything just stopped. I got some story about that p/n not being in the system, and that's where everything just stopped.No call backs no more communication. I contacted Chevrolet, and the Dealer is Blowing them off as well. P/N 23458540 is available all over the Internet, but going the distance to take care of a customer is not something AutoNation Valencia seems to care about. I might add that they left Dirty Handprints on the Headliner and Sunvisor, and the Seat Cover on the back seat was removed and left balled up like a pile of trash. I did purchase the truck from them and the had no problem sending me multiple emails and letters to continue the extended warranty. To sum it up Take Your GM Product somewhere else for service.

Love my new Blazer!

I was looking to buy a Blazer RS in a specific color and with a list of "must-haves". Even though I live about 45 miles from AutoNation Valencia, I checked with them first because when I purchased my 2011 Camaro RS (which I still have!) I also had a specific list of "must-haves". Although they did not have it on the lot, they were able to locate my dream Camaro quickly and the purchase process went very well. This time they had my dream Blazer on the showroom floor! Again, everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly, and the purchase process went very smoothly!

A Serious Roadblock

Truck was left for two months due to an inability to get parts. The work was covered under warranty and a rental car was provided, but the car provided was not a suitable replacement vehicle. No offer of help was extended to find a suitable replacement vehicle despite telling my service advisor that I needed a truck, not a camaro, so that I could maintain my business. I never received notification when all the parts were acquired and work could continue. When the work was finally done and I arrived at the dealership to collect my truck I found my truck unlocked. The truck, which still had thousands of dollars of tools and specialized equipment was parked adjacent to the road and not behind any lockable gates. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication, inability to acquire parts for a new vehicle that is covered under warranty, and careless behavior shown by the dealership to a vehicle that is central to my ability to make a living.

Check part status for retro fit with Rick Clark and he was busy, another service manger assisted. Schdeluled retro fit and oil changed right then but needed my truck to pick up grand kids from school and baby sitter. Service manager assisted and got my truck back in time to pick up grand kids
