The day after taking our new car home we noticed the rear window made noise when the window went up and down. We thought maybe a piece of paper was caught. We surprised the service dept. at Sunnyvale VW my dropping in. They politly listened to our concern. They took the car right in found that there was a small part that wasnt functioning correctly in the door. They ordered the part then contacted us via email to let us know it was in. I was able to choose a date and time to bring the car back in. The next morning i was called and told the date and time i had chosen was good. I live in another city and traffic wasn't great the day of my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes late. This was not a problem with the service dept. who helped me right away. I live to far for a shuttle so i would wait for my car with a good book and a great cup of coffee in the customer lounge. I never got to look at my book as i quickly made friends with other new VW owner who seem to just love their cars and talking about them. I arrived at the service dept. at 9:15 am. I had just had my new car wax and treated so I turned down the service dept. offer of a car wash. My service was complete and i was back on the road my 10 am. There was no cost and i was reminded that they will do a courtesy service of my new car in 60 days. Good service is great to find I wish this dealership was closer to my home..but im happy to make the trek for quality service..
