Dishonest or Confused? Service Advisor at Crevier BMW

I brought in my x4 to replace the nose grill from silver to black. I asked can I keep the old ones. John T. told me that the old grill will be trashed because they have to break it in order to install new ones in. Second opinion, I brought my car to New Century BMW in Alhambra, They installed it at no charge and gave me back the old ones in perfect condition. Is there any confusion or dishonesty here?

Dear Crevier Team, I ran a quote on X4 nose grill. Of course, quote is not in the record until you actually install it...and you know it. It's not necessary to go back and forth. I'm appreciated the thought but since I lost my trust to someone... I cannot deal with it again. New Century BMW in Alhambra is doing really good job. I'll stick around although it takes me an hour drive but I have peace of mind. Thanks.

Hi David, We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any miscommunication or confusion. Our records show that you brought your X4 into Crevier for the first time on 4/27/15 for its first service. We did not see anything about a grill in your paperwork and John T. does not recall anything about replacing a grill. He did mention that he has always really enjoyed taking care of you in the past with your other vehicles and if there is something that he did not do correctly he would really like to speak with you and make it right.
