Bitter sweet

My old Toyota was wrecked by uninsured driver. I want happy about shopping for a another car. Brian was empathetic and explained many of his customers are in similar situations and itâs not always exciting to buy car. We got past the and found a fair deal on used truck. The staff was great and I recommend Brian Moore as your point of contact .

I had one of best experiences with Tyler, who is one of truly best salesmen around. I have never gone to a dealership to purchase a car. Tyler is such a great salesman that he never pressures you into doing something you don't want to do. He has to be tops in his field and, by the way, I love my car. Normally when I make a big purchase, I feel a little stressed, second guessing myself. Not this time, I know it was the right decision and I was so happy driving home a car that was so beautiful, drove very smoothly and is reliable as well. So, in closing, I want to say that I would come back to Tyler at Marin Toyota and recommend others come as well. Tyler would be my point person at Toyota Marin; he's a natural.

Best dealership ever

I bought my first car from here and I had the best experience ever. Paul was an easy going guy and was very honest. I was getting cold feet but he really made the whole experience so simple. That's how car buying should always be. My boyfriend came with me and he ended up trading in his car and getting a sweet deal as well. Imad hooked me up with some irresistible warranty for my car. I couldn't be anymore happier.

We purchased a used Camry Hybrid after spending the day shopping at other dealers. A long, frustrating day. This dealership was a delightful change. No pressure. Clear and informed information of cars we were interested. Friendly and professional service. Excellent and varied choices.

Biggest Joke of a Dealership I've ever heard of

So get this, I went to this dealership and spent over 8 hours with them. I had my heart set on a Green Toyota Prius, and as I was signing the papers when another customer came in wanting the same vehicle. Despite the dealership's claim that it is a "first come, first serve" environment, they sold the car to the other customer. It gets so much worse from here. I go out onto the lot, find a different car I like, and come back in to do the paperwork only to find that they changed the interest rate on me a whole 3%. After an hour of haggling, I got them to get the rate close to where we started, but even that was a hastle. I end up signing all of the paperwork, putting a down payment on the car out of my own pocket, shaking the financial manager's hand, and leaving. I needed to use a cosigner so they were supposed to send out the paperwork Monday morning. I don't hear a word from them the next day. Tuesday comes, and nothing. I try and get into contact, and they finally call me and my cosigner Wednesday informing me everything was good to go. Thursday comes, and they tell me that I need to put a bigger down payment on the car in order for the deal to go through. I say fine, lets do it. They call me back again, and tell me that it is unfortunate, but they Sold My Car To Another Customer!!! The manager told me that a customer came in Tuesday, keep in mind this is two days prior to them informing me of this information, and they sold the car to him. They claim that no one was aware that the car was sold pending a final signing of the paperwork. No one entered anything into the system,and no one bothered to put a lowsy Sold sign on the car. After I gave them my own money out of my pocket and spending over 8 hours in their dealership, this is what I get for taking my business to Toyota Marin. They are the most unorganized, unprofessional, lazy, and uncommunicative bunch of people I have ever had to deal with and ever met in my life. Don't listen to what other reviews say about this place. It is horrible, and not worth anyone's time. I hope that whoever reads this review takes it into consideration when buying their car. Buy your car from a dealership that cares about the people they work with. One that is ontop of their stuff, and actually know what they are talking about. Don't give your money to these people, they definitely don't deserve it. Thanks for reading my review! I wish you the best of luck in your car hunt, and am only writing this because I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I have had to go through.
