Bought a New 2010 Corolla

I needed a new car to replace my old 2002 Suzuki Esteem. I did my research and decided on a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE, as there seemed to be a lot of them on dealer lots. Checked on, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, and noted the 2010 Corolla was on the recommended list. Checked for any rebates or good financing. Found that there was either a $1,000 rebate or 0% financing for up to 60 months. I used and and got quotes from 4 local dealers. I specified the make, model and color, and North Hollywood Toyota sent me the lowest price. Since their inventory was on line, I actually selected the exact vehicle number. Made an appointment with the Internet lady, went in, was assigned to a salesman, Homy, a very personable older gentleman who took me on a test drive. Since the dealer email had already committed to a price that I was ready to accept, there was no negotiation. I got credit checked in 15 minutes, was approved for 60 months at no interest, and went to the signing room. The young man who did the paperwork didn't press much on the add-ons, and was very polite. It took me two hours and I drove out of the dealership with a new car. Since then (1/18/11), I have had several follow-up emails and calls from the dealer wanting to know my satisfaction with the car. Have not had to get service yet. Overall, no glitches, nothing spectacular one way or the other.
