I should have read customerdignty's review before I went to Frmeont Mazda. My experience was exactly the same. Paulo the sales person offered me a certain price on a Mazda 3 Hatchback. This price was slightly better than that offered by another dealership and I decided to buy on the spot, since I was in a time crunch. A price was quoted and agreed upon. I even have a print out of this offer from them!!! Once, I went into Finance they changed the price and tacked on another $500 for the color that I wanted saying they had to do this since the color was the most in demand. I was unhappy but too far into the process and decided to go ahead with the deal - my biggest mistake!! The lady in Finance tried to get me to sign all the paper work without actually even looking at the car. I refused. The rest of the deal was signed, the money paid. I went there the next day to pick up the car. The car wasn't "ready" and I had to wait for 6 hours!!!!! After, 6 hours I was shown a car that was muddy, had mudprints all over the upholstery and had huge scratches on the paint on the hood!! Obviously I was not taking this car. They then said my options were only to either take this car or pay $200 more and go back to the original car... so now they wanted me to take the original car for $700 more!! what [violative content deleted]! When I brought this to Sales Manager Ron Edwards's attention, he said Paulo had never made any such deal in the first place. Luckily for me, I had a printout from Ron to prove what I was saying. He then started blaming Paulo saying Paulo had no authority to make this deal and that it had never been approved by him. The latest: Now after keeping me hanging for 1 week, they want me to pay them an extra $1,100 and take the original car. Can you believe these guys?????
