onVery disappointed when I called on dealer inventory # 159869 and was given a quote that was $2,000 more than the price quoted on Edmunds. I offered to pay in cash the full amount of the Edmunds quoted dealer price but was told my offer could not be accepted. Vehicle is in transit and has not even arrived at dealership. Sales representative was polite and I was offered a different vehicle, but I felt deceived by the Edmunds quote.

onI, like many other shoppers, did all my research online for a Toyota I was looking for and making sure I knew what the best price was going to be. I contacted many Toyota dealerships in and around the Long Beach area. Many dealerships were just trying to get me in without listening to what I wanted. I had a trade-in, so of course, I wanted the most I could get for my car. I went to a few different dealerships that gave me a low price on Camry, but didn't want to give me anything for my trade-in. Cabe Toyota contact me and the sales person listened to what I wanted and provided me all the information I requested. They were very upfront. They gave me the best deal all around with my trade-in. It was a fast process. Finance guy was very professional and was not trying to hard sell me. Great overall experience and even an additional bonus with the 10 years free oil changes.

Another shady dealer

onWhile researching car price through Edmunds Promise, I came upon a good offer from this dealer. After contacting Cable Toyota, I received email from the rep saying that all was a MISTAKE and the REAL price is 2000 dollars more than the advertised price from Edmunds. 2 weeks after that date, the "mistake" was still not corrected on Edmunds.

on*Warning **Dealership under UNETHICAL practices **** Once you bring your list of complaints to the general manager DAN DUDDRIDGE you will find that he is the root and reflection of all the unethical and unprofessional practices that you will find/experience at dealership. Here is a list of what I encounter: 1. truck kept for a month because the "right" mechanic was not available. 2. I was quoted and agreed with cost for the repairs then when truck was ready the cost had doubled. 3. Expect several 25 minute telephone holds. 4. Dont expect service counter employees to acknowledge you with a friendly "hello", "welcome", "we will be right with you" or with simple eye contact. 5. Expect YouTube to know more than their mechanics. When I took the car in I told them the car had a grinding noise that it seemed to be coming from the rear differential after my research online. After their inspection I was told it was not the differential but damaged rear bearings. Long story short after a week and having the service manager do the inspection it was determined that it was the rear differential. 6. In a month when truck was picked up the truck sounded like a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. I was told by their mechanic that I brought the truck sounding like that. I was very upset not because of the 30 days that I have been without my truck but because here is another lie. After several days of driving my Harley-Truck and waking up the neighbors as I left to work I decided to take it to two muffler shops. It was there and then that I saw the split at the joints that the muffler had that it look like it came from muffler being forced/pushed aside almost as if it got in the way of the differential that is inches away. 7. Is the worst because now you are dealing with the General Manager Dan Duddridge who has no concept of customer care. It baffles my mind as to why the owner of the dealership still has him there. The first time I talked to Mr. Duddridge about the problems that I was having he did not have the patience to hear me out and just had the head of the service mechanics Julio deal with me. Julio talked to me once then had my original service advisor who I was having communication problems with deal with me from that point forward. Julio did not care to own or manage the path of bad experience that I was on. The second encounter with Mr. Duddridge was when I picked up my truck and had to see him after finding out that my truck was sounding like a motorcycle. He was on his way home and again seemed uninterested in dealing with a customer complaint. He had Joe his mechanic who happened to be the mechanic that worked on my truck go on a test drive with me. When we came back we talked openly in front of the service counter where employees Phil, Chuck, and Joe where. His question was what do you want to do, I told him that what I found more concerning than his question was the comment Joe made during the test drive where he stated that I had brought the truck in like that. At that point he walked away from the conversation and went about 20 feet into another room in which he signal me in like a dog using his fingers. I asked him what does that mean as I stood in which he signal me in a second time. At that point I told him why can you just verbally ask "Mr. Rivera can we talk in private", but he didnt say anything. Once I obeyed his dog command and walked into the office I told him who he reported to, he said " I am it, I am as high as you can go" I asked him how do I get a hold of the owner of the dealership, he said you are just going to have to catch him, Mr Cabe is always in and out. Since he knew at that point the route that I was taking by wanting to speak to the owner, he said he had to bring me into the office because I was shouting. I then asked him, do you have cameras, he replied yes, i said good, when I get Mr. Cabe involved I will make sure I ask him to look at recording for him to see the demeanor I had and how you humiliated me in front of your staff as you waived me in like a dog.

onWe went out of our way to do all of our service at cabe because you have to do all of them there to get their 30k service for free. Well, Peter at service told me I could come in and get the free 30k service and just skip the 25k because I was way past the 25k service. Made an appointment and drove 30 minutes to cabe to get the service done. When I got there Roger Omium came out (didnt even greet me or anything) and ask what I needed done. I said I was here for the 30k service. He said ok then we went to the service desk. He then stated that since I was past the 25k service they cannot do the 30k service for me. When I told him peter promised me the 30k, and that I have all my calls recorded and can play the call, Rodger said he doesn't care what peter promised. I walked out as I will not hand my car care over to people like this. So, don't get suckered into the "free" service for buying a car there. I drove 30 minutes on my day off and was given the BATE AND SWITCH. This will be the only and last car I (or anyone I know) buy at Cabe.

Purchase of a Prius V Two

onI was contacting local dealerships to find the best price. The first point of contact at Cabe, Meghan, was the first to email me the itemized out the door price that I had requested, while other dealerships would always give me one bit of info but not the rest of what I requested. Meghan was straight forward. Evan was also great at following up and making sure we would get the car we wanted, which had to be driven from San Diego to Long Beach, which was done at no charge to us. Cabe gave us the best price with the exterior color we wanted. Once we arrived, the team at Cabe was very accommodating, and, though we had already put down a deposit over the phone to bring the car down from San Diego, Cristina went over all the details before, during, and after the test drive. The transaction occurred as smoothly as could be.

onMy husband bought his Prius C last Sept. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I also needed to purchase a car. Spent all day visiting car dealers narrowing down my search to the car I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. I was so tired and did not look forward to talking to anyone else. My husband called Cristina and I told her what I wanted and how much I was wanted to pay. Bingo! The dealer had exactly what I wanted. Drove down to dealer that evening and drove back in my brand new Prius. The best part was that even though Christina had to leave, she waited for us and sped along the purchasing transaction. Cristina at Cabe Toyota is the best.

onBefore even contacting any dealers, I spent a lot of time doing research on the 2014 Tacoma's. CABE was 1 of 2 dealers in SoCal where the sales rep knew as much about how the Tacoma packages as me (via hours of reading and research). The Price I paid was 200.00 more than my lowest offer from other dealers. However, the other offer included a trade in that was 1000.00 less than Cabes offer. Cabe valued my trade in exactly what the kbb and true car indicated would be a good price. The sales rep really set Cabe apart from the rest of the dealers, Cristina M. Although nothing out of the ordinary, I had a specific Tacoma package request and Cristina knew exactly what I was speaking about and did not try to sale me something I didnt ask for. Cristina's honesty and knowledge won my business, She didn't say she had a vehicle only to find out later its not actually on the lot (it happened many times with other dealers). She did not make any promises she could not keep. I live in HB so All negotiation was done via email and telephone. Once completed, I drove to the dealership on a Friday around 11:00 and was driving home in a new Tacoma at 1:00. No last minute surprises or unwarranted up sale attempts. I even made it to a 1:30 meeting..

The Best Experience Ever

onWow, what a wonderful experience! After getting a bait and switch and downright lies from some local dealers I sent the Cabe Dealership an email stating what I wanted. Meghan at Cabe found what I wanted in a Sienna and she sent me the specs for the perfect match and a price within 2 hours...She guided me through the whole purchase being one step ahead of any questions I had. Since I was not nearby she sent me pictures and sent forms we could fill out ahead of time. She then demoed all the features of my new Toyota Sienna. She also followed up with emails stating that if I had any questions she was there to help. This was my far the best experience I have EVER had buying a car. Thank you also to Edmunds for the information I needed about price and dealerships out of my area to make an informed decision.

onLet me just start out by saying I'm a firm believer in Costco Auto Program. But that has changed after meeting Cristina from Cabe! She is an AHHHHHMAZING sales professional. No matter how much push back and haggling (as a consumer you should always push and haggle) I throw her way, she always respond with professionalism and patience. Cristina is a wealth of information and knowledge when it comes to her sales. I have worked with many sales car rep and the moment they hand over the keys the moment they rush you off their lot. NOT CRISTINA! She spent her time going over all my car features and making sure I'm comfortable before heading off. My experience with Cabe was nothing short of amazing (all thanks to Cristina M. of course). However, through the little time that I had experienced with Cabe, I had realized that when it comes down to the $100s they rather earn your business than profitting that $100. I had a pleasure of working with Jason K. (finance manager) and he was ANOTHER wealth of info guidance. He explained line to line every fee on my contract no sales pitch no gimmick. Overall this experience of purchasing 2 Prius plug-in has been exceptional!!! Going forward, anyone I know that wants to purchase Toyota will def get my referral to Cabe Toyota in Long Beach. Honestly, you will not be disappointed with experience nor price.

onChristina was great! Got me best interest rate and best price. Got all papaerwork ran and started, and had the Rav4 I wanted delivered right to the delearship. All I had to do was walk in and sign the paperwork. It was a great experience and I have already referred my coworkers and family to Cabe Toyota. Jon, the finanace person we worked with was great! Friendly and honest.

onI just got a 36 month lease for the Prius plug in. I worked with Oni, who is great. She is honest, straight forward and easy going. She was available via email to answer all of my questions before and after purchasing. The price was just what she said, no add ons. Everyone I met at the dealership was straightforward and not pushy at all. I have bought 6 cars in my life and this was the easiest. The price was the best out of 5 dealers I emailed. They even sent a car to pick me up the day of the sale. I would come here again.

onThis was not the typical car buying experience we always hear horror stories about. We purchased a new 2013 Prius Two with this dealership, and it was relaxing! The people were very down to earth, respectful, and straight forward. No song and dance, no dog and pony show. Honest, fast, and easy. The color vehicle we wanted wasn't on the lot, but they arranged to have it there the very same day for us to take home. I don't care if we move to New York...from now on, we will always shop here for a new Toyota.

onCabe's is a departure from what you've come to expect when buying a car. From the beginning they responded to my emails quicker then any other dealership and gave hard number's, not the usual tag lines ( ie. Best pricing, fleet deal, ect). Once I was at the dealership Dominic and Christina were amazing. Friendly and personable, they walk me though each component of the deal including lease vs buy options, what you will be getting for your trade (most dealers won't tell you, they go in low and hide it in the financing). They even went over tier credit placement and interest rates, a first for me. The whole possess moved quickly and Christina made any downtime fun by just chatting with us. Got the car a wanted, an Avalon Touring for a great price and actually really enjoyed the car buying experience without any regrets. This is the only place I will ever buy a car from and I would strongly encourage the same for others.

onBought a Scion FR-S 10 Series at Cabe. Cristina handled the sale and did an awesome job. She actually new about the FR-S and it's features, a nice change from the other Scion dealerships I visited (they were clueless). She was very pleasant, helpful and not pushy at all. I knew what I wanted and she saw to it that I was in and out of there without too much wait. Very nice! Thanks again.

onBuying a car is supposed to be stressful. Smarmy, borderline-dishonest sales people. Pressure to buy add-ons. Confusion mixed with an overall feeling that you're getting taken for a ride (and not in the preferred sense of the word). Cabe Toyota was the exact opposite experience. Straightforward, upfront about costs, with zero pressure to do anything, Cabe made the entire process simple and painless. Almost...(gasp)...fun. Ultimately, I'm not sure I can say much more than the other five star reviews. This was the best car-buying experience I could've imagined. Oh, if you can, ask for Oni J. in sales. She's fantastic and made all the difference for us.

onI came here originally looking for a used car and walked out with a brand new 2013 toyota corolla. I just wanna say as a first time car buyer this was by far the best experience I've ever had. I could't be happier with my decision to purchase my vehicle here. If you want to buy a car don't waste your time with other dealerships and go here. I got the best price and deal here. Other dealerships quoted me much more. Also other dealerships made me feel uncomfortable and kept trying to force me to buy cars i did't want. Here at cabe toyota they have the friendliest people who really care about getting the car you want. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
