Dishonest Dealership

This dealership has a poor reputation in the community. They are all about the first sale, and are not interested in maintaining a relationship with customers on an ongoing basis. On a personal front, their related dealerships in San Francisco, British Motors, have been notorious in misleading customers with respect to service. That is why they probably don't use the same name in Livermore. My personal experience is that they have lied about service. (Another dealer disagreed with what Jaguar Land Rover Livermore said was wrong with the intake system at one point and a mechanic said nothing was wrong with ignition system when the dealer said it was.) In another case they claimed something was not under warranty when it was. On the sales process, on the surface Teddy, their sales manager was pleasant, but we caught him in a variety of lies and inconsistencies. Don't go here.

I can validate Larry's opinion and experience at British Motors in San Francisco. The sales experience is fine, but my first visit to the service department led to my being falsely accussed of dishonesty to cover their mistake, being lied too countless times over a couple of months, hostile behavior, and gross incompetence that made my vehicle unsafe to drive - LR3 was so far out of alignment that the outside edge of the tires wore to the cords in 1500 miles. As I was right, was able to document all of the above, and went to LRNA, they ended up making a full apology. Akin to the class jerk being made to apologize by the principle.
