She is very knowledgeable, not at all pushy, and seemed like she really wanted to make sure I was happy with the car that I was purchasing and comfortable with the process of buying it. I can't begin to express how impressed I am with with Victoria in service. She went well beyond normal expected service in many ways but particularly with helping me retrieve my cell phone which fell out of my pocket into the lyft car which took me to the car rental. Using 2 iphones, we were able to locate my phone and then retrieve it by driving to the pinged location which was in a moving car. Keven was very helpful in this also. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Poor car buying experience

I am not pleased with how Antelope Valley Chevrolet handled my purchase of a new 2023 vehicle. They took over four hours to get me to finance which was around 10:00PM. Once I signed financial docs and returned home, I found that pages of the contract were missing. I went back to the dealership and told them the contract was missing pages and I would like them. I also stated that the contract was wrong, and the offer paper was missing with the monthly payments and discounts. The manager produced an offer paper with an unrecognizable signature. I told the manager and he laughed. I am certain that I signed an offer paper with a $1500 discount. The offer paper the manager produced did not have the $1500 discount listed.

Silverado Purchase

Daniel Del Río provided excellent customer service by listening to our needs and communicating with us through each step of the purchase. We appreciated his transparency, honesty, and knowledge of the Chevy vehicles. Will recommend him to friends and family. Our Finance Manager Erick was also very helpful and clearly explained the extended warranty as well as offered tips and advice. I was very impressed with the whole team! A very accommodating location.

Great buying experience!

My husband and I had contacted Jacob prior to driving out to the dealership because we knew which vehicle we wanted. When we arrived, Jacob was there, ready to go for us to take a test-drive and with some of the paperwork already started. It was a wonderful, quick, and hospitable experience.

100 mi. drive to get a yd. of bullcrap sales games!

1.0 star rating 10/17/2018 Went in for a new truck that I called about to check price and availability. When I got there after driving 100+ miles, the sales guys jacked the ADVERTISED AND CONFIRMED price I got over the phone by over 9000.00 on a 30,000.00 truck, just wouldn't give me a strait answer, finally I left and only after that did they commit to a out the door price. I really liked the truck so I thought I would give them 1 more shot at being strait, but no they couldn't do it. I even `let them know I have another truck lined up, credit approved at another dealer but I still liked their truck. Well long story short they first told me that they couldn't get the same int. rate as the other dealer after I hung up and called and told the other dealer I will purchase their truck I got a call back saying they were able to convince GM to reduce my Int. to the same rate as the other dealer. So i thought what the hell. The final deal they offered was $37931.00 out the door price 2000.00 down, 5.8% int. for 84mo. total pmt. 582.00. LOL some one needs to teach these guys how to do math, OOOOr at least use a calculator. Sorely disappointed in the way I was treated, not mentioning names cause it seemed like they were just doing their jobs.

Warranty

I am unsatisfied with the service that I have received from AV Chevy I drop my vehicle off more than 3 days ago I have gotten only one call back I've called multiple times and they keep telling me that they're going to call me back and they don't I drop it off for a simple abs sensor my vehicle was inspected this year for an extended warranty and approved by Chevy but there now telling me that my warranty is void because there is a leveling kit on the truck which was there when I purchase it also my third brake light was leaking which cause damage to my interior headliner Iris the tech lady has been nothing but rude at first talk with Roberto the main guy everything seemed fine I spoke with him this morning he seemed agitated which makes no sense because his vehicle has it been sitting there for 3 days so when asked do I recommend AV Chevy no I do not service is not good truck awesome truck go to a different dealer

Unprofessional and Rude

Last week (4/5/2018) I contacted the dealership in regards to a vehicle I was interested in. I was working directly with Leo. My first interaction was on Thursday afternoon. I received a price quote and pictures of the vehicle I was interested in quickly. We agreed on a price so I received approval for a loan from my local credit union. Friday (4/6/2018) rolls around and I speak with Leo, letting him know I live a 4 hour drive away and that I've been approved by my bank and that I'll be there on Saturday around noon. He then stated he'll get everything taken care of and the vehicle ready for me on Saturday. He also suggested that I apply with them as well to see if they can beat my local credit unions interest rate. Which I submit an application for in preparation for Saturday. Saturday (4/7/2018) comes around and I leave my house in the morning (7:00AM) to Lancaster. Around 9:40AM I notice a text from Leo that they sold the Vehicle the previous night! A few text exchanges and a phone call later, they offer another vehicle that is similar to the one I want, but different color/options/mileage/price. Since this is not what I was looking for I declined. He then stated he would check his inventory and asked me to hold on for a bit. It is around 10:30AM now. Around 11:30AM I still did not hear back from Leo. I texted him and asked if he has had a chance to check his inventory yet. I received a text back saying he would follow up in a bit and check with his sales manager. That was the last I heard from Leo. Sunday (4/8/2018) I receive a call from Jessica about my loan application. I explain to her the situation and she apologizes and takes the info of what I'm looking for and says she'll pass it along to the sales managers who are the ones who purchase the vehicles. Also I'd get a call Tuesday morning from the sales manager of Leo. She was very professional and gave me relief that I would be helped. Tuesday (4/10/2018) I did not receive a call. I called in and spoke with Leo's Sales Manager. He stated they did not have anything in that matched what I was looking for and that he could not help me. I asked about why they sold the vehicle and he said they have a no hold policy I then asked why wouldn't they of told me the day before instead of me driving for 6 hours, plus sitting around for another 2 hours, running my credit when it didn't need to be, and putting unnecessary mileage on my vehicle? He stated he was sorry about that but there is nothing he can do to help. I requested that I would like to speak with his manager or possibly someone at their corporate office. He stated that they are a family business. I then asked isn't it a franchise still? he then hung up on me. So I had to call back and leave a message to be called back by the General Manager of the dealership. I have yet to receive a call... I was initially very upset about this, and the lack of professionalism that came from the dealership from their sales team. However on Sunday when I spoke with Jessica, I felt that they were going to make things right where they fell short. Jessica assured me that she would let the Sales Managers know. However after speaking with the sales manager again it was the same thing on Saturday, no professionalism and flat out rude. I would reconsider using this dealership, since they seem not to care to much about their customers and just about pushing vehicles. I'm hoping to hear back from the General Manager, sooner than later. If not I'll pretty much write this dealership off... tl;dr: Wasted 8+hours of my day traveling to purchase a vehicle that we had a deal on, unnecessary miles on my vehicle, unnecessary credit report ran, the Sales People (Leo), and his Sales Manager were unprofessional and rude. I do not recommend this dealership!

Impressed with my custom order

I was looking to purchase a Chevy Bolt, but apparently those vehicles are hard to come by. After doing some online looking, AV Chevy contacted me via email and said they were interested in selling me a Chevy Bolt. I initially blew them off because they didn’t have any in stock and I didn’t figure they could help me. Then Richard Hertzberg called me from AV Chevy and said they could place a custom order for me and it’s no big deal because they do it all the time. He wasn’t pushy and was very accommodating when I told him I was coming from 80 miles away. He made me an appointment on that same day. When I arrived he told me he was still working with his previous customers whose appointment started 3 hours before mine. He quickly offered to have another salesperson help me, but I was impressed with Richard so I declined. 15 minutes later he’d wrapped up his other appointment and sat down with me to order my car. He was very knowledgeable and explained the features of the car and answered all of my questions about the process. He made sure I had his cell number and told me I could text him anytime. He also told me it’d be 6-8 weeks before I could take delivery. The whole process was quick and only took about half an hour. I didn’t have to put down a retainer fee and no money was exchanged. Then the wait started. Richard kept in frequent contact texting me every week or so. He’d give me updates on the car’s production and shipping status. Thanks to Richard, I know the exact day my car went into production  At one point he called me and offered me all the dealer extras (door paint protectant, upgraded alarm system, extended warranties, etc.). He explained everything very well and answered all of my questions. At the end of his explanations, I decided to decline all extras and Richard was perfectly fine with that. He didn’t push or try to convince me to do something I didn’t want to do. The communications continued as the car was shipping across the country and then the negotiations started. As I said before, I live 80 miles away so going to the dealership just to haggle over price was not something I was interested in doing. Thankfully, we were able to negotiate all pricing via text message in an environment that was pressure free and on my own schedule. I received a detailed breakdown of all charges and fees so there were no surprised the day I picked up the car. I was able to walk in knowing exactly what the car would cost me. Richard informed me that the car had finally arrived in the LA area. I was super excited! I knew it would only be a few more days before I could have my brand new car that I’d waited so long for (or so I thought). Turns out there was a shipping delay and it was over a week later before I could get my car. I wasn’t very happy about this at all especially since I had prior engagements for the following week that prevented me from taking delivery of the car (driving 80 miles one way requires quite a bit of time that I didn’t have). I informed Richard of this and he expedited the process as much as he could so I could get the car as quickly as possible. On the day I picked up my car, I was very impressed with AV Chevy. The car was detailed, fully charged and sitting in an inside show room since it was raining outside. I was able to inspect my car completely and then went for a test drive. The car was exactly what I had expected it to be. It was perfect! I agreed to purchase the vehicle and it was time for money to exchange hands. Richard was very helpful and the finance guy was very efficient and explained all the paperwork so I knew what I was signing. The purchasing process took about an hour. I was impressed with the efficiency of the dealership and their employees. I found out later that Richard came in on his day off work so that I could get the car before my other engagements. He really went the extra mile and I’d highly recommend purchasing or ordering a vehicle from AV Chevy especially if you get a chance to work with Richard Hertzberg.

I honestly was hesitating to taking my car to AV Chevy Service Dept. The last time I was there, the service was awful. I even provided a review about it. I walk in and not one of the advisors wanted to acknowledge me as a customer. Glad the past review was distributed and you're welcome that I was honest. Luckily, I saw a familiar helpful face, Steve Clark. Steve Clark was a reliable service writer that is back as an Assistant Manager. I knew that this day was going to turn out good. Steve always provided excellent service. As reliable as Steve always been, Steve came through and resolved my car issue. A+++ Steve. Thank you for the excellent support. Arrived overwhelmed and a little scared as a first time car buyer. But the team at Chevy definitely put me at ease and complelty gave me an amazing experience. Issac made the entire process simple, answered all my questions and concerns, informed me very well on my options and worked to get me the best deal for me. Also, Tucker in finance helped very much as well. The paperwork process was very quick and seamless. He definitely took care of my needs and was extremely informative. The team took care to address all my concerns and were more than accommodating.

Excellent Service

We were treated with an excellent customer service much more than we expected. The staff are very professional from the shuttle driver to Johnny Lopez the Service Manager. We really appreciate the prompt service and the high quality workmanship performed on our Tahoe. This dealership is highly commendable and deserves 5 stars rating!!!

First Oil change 2016 Colorado

I dropped my truck off at 8am and left it with the dealership to change the oil and balance the tires. I showed up around 2pm (assuming the vehicle would be ready) to pick the truck up and it was not finished. I wasn't upset, but a little disappointed that it took this long. The maintenance appears to be quality maintenance though. I am still very pleased and I will return to this dealership for all my maintenance. Thank you.
