Recommend this dealer? No Purchased a vehicle from this dealer? No
Arrived over thanksgiving weekend to test drive a Ford Fusion. When I instructed the salesman to email me a quote, he would just slightly shake his head no while giving me a confused look and said "If we can get you a good deal, let's just take care of the purchase here and now!" I reminded him I was NOT ready to purchase, and still needed to test drive a few other cards first. He again gave me the confused look and said "Let's just get it 'done' right here, okay?" I laughed at him and gave him my email address. He asked me if it was okay if he gave me his business card (I said yes). He then walks away to go inside his office to get his business card... but the longer this process takes the more I'm realizing he's just going to get another "closer" to finish the deal. And yep, that's exactly what it was. I ended up purchasing a Hyundai from another dealer (extremely happy with the Sonata). Jesse, the salesman I originally worked with, called me the next day to ask if I was still interested in the vehicle. When I informed him we already purchased a vehicle before I could finish my sentence he blurted out in frustration "WELL, I COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOU A MUCH BETTER DEAL!!!!" Blah blah blah. Keep in mind, he has NO idea how much I paid for my car. Keep in mind the only factory incentive was a lousy APR rate. Also keep in mind the hybrids are in very hot demand. The Sonata I purchased was not a hybrid. So in the end, I got a very nice deal on the purchase price of the Hyundai. Double-dipped on 1 very good factory incentive. Triple-dipped on another average factory incentive. And quadruple-dipped for an excellent APR rate. This was on top of an extremely aggressive & excellent price for the vehicle itself. Years ago I was at this dealership looking into a Ford Escape, and even then it was the same [non-permissible content removed] high-pressure tactics - complete with phony over-the-top pseudo-friendliness from a "bully" type sales manager. The reason why I rate this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because they have a HUGE lot with an excellent selection of vehicles. Also, the person that did the test drive with us (he was not "Jesse") was friendly and polite. But in my experience, most of the employees here are [non-permissible content removed] starving for the blood of your cash and will stop at nothing (including their own "integrity" - if you can call it that) to nibble a nasty bite from you.
