No Follow Up-Extra "Fees"

by Julian C on 08/04/2020

Go here knowing you are going to have to pay $2200 above whatever price you see online. Even after that unpleasant surprise for "GPS, Paint Protection, Interior Protection" we haggled and settled on a number. They were so swamped that when we asked for an out the door price, they sent us on our way and told me they would text me the information I asked for. As you can imagine, no text or information was sent. We drove an hour to deal with them.

The salesman that helped me get approved & walk out with my new vehicle was Joaquin Landaver. He was a very helpful & professional salesperson ! Thanks to him I now own a Diesel 2012 Dodge Ram 3500! If your looking to purchase a car/truck definitely ask for Joaquin 👍🎇

Great Experience

by Ivanvera23 on 02/02/2018

Went into the dealer last nighy half an hour beforw closing and was still able to make a deal thanks to Stephen W. We told him what vehicle we wanted and hr made it happen with in our budget while adding extended warranty. Best part was when they provided the final price it was on one piece of paper with everyrhing itemized so I knew what I was paying for.

They applied to TWELVE banks for financing w/o my knowledge

by Aactive on 06/13/2017

I visited this dealership because they had a Wrangler in the color I was looking for, which is only available on used models (anvil). I thought it was a good deal and I brought a mechanic with me to check it out so that I felt good about buying a used vehicle. I informed the finance department that it might not be possible for me to get financing without getting my dad to co-sign, because I had only been here for 18 months so I didn't have a long credit history. They told me they would check a couple of places. After waiting for hours, and constantly enquiring, they said they had someone who agreed to 5.99%. I thought that was terrible, but then decided that if I could get it without having to get my dad to co-sign (which is just logistically difficult as he lives on the East Coast), I'd go ahead. I drove the car off the lot. I won't go into the details of how they would not budge on the price, how they told me only after I asked that there was no spare key or manual, or how I was literally starving because the deal too waaaayyyy longer than I could have even imagined. The major problem is this: I got home, a week passed, and I heard nothing from them. I was wondering what was going on, and then I got an alert about my credit score having changed. I checked and that's when I found out that the dealer had gone to TWELVE!!! banks before finding someone to take my loan. I told them that this might be a problem and that if it was, I could get a loan myself through my parents' bank OR get my dad to co-sign. Clearly, the only thing they wanted was to make a sale. It mattered in no way to them that they might ruin my credit. I was STUNNED. I am still waiting for the paperwork to be done (it's been 3 weeks now) and hope that when I finalize the transfer of my lease in a week or two on my other car, this will help my credit bounce back, but I honestly cannot believe how cavalier they were. I asked the finance person, Luis Sibille, to give me the details of the person who made the decision to ask 12 banks, and I am still waiting for that information. I also tried to google to find out who the manager of the dealership was and didn't find anything. I would say this is pretty much up there with 'reasons you don't want to buy a used car'- but I guess they might do this to you on any car at this dealership. Complete lack of customer respect or care. Oh, and they also tried that 'a beautiful woman like yourself' business on me- which translates instantly to "We don't take you seriously". Avoid.

Ludicrously over blue book. Wouldn't budge.

by BlueMeanies on 07/25/2016

The 2007 RAM 2500 was way over priced by $6000 (kbb appraisal) and the sales manager wouldn't lower the price by any appreciable amount. Very disappointed. Not recommended.

Practice is Imperfect

by Unsatisfied61 on 05/31/2016

Went into Pacific Auto to look for a good truck at a decent price. Our sales person helped us find the truck that was advertised, had us go and start the 4 square before even test driving the truck. Managers were also eager to get us to sign on the dotted line, and said they were having trouble getting the truck out to test drive but said let's get this approved in the mean time. Truck wasn't prepped for delivery, not fueled up, not detailed, not inspected by us because it was stuffed back in a corner and they wouldn't agree to repair anything PERIOD.... I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. I'm so sorry for putting my wife in this financial situation

BUYER BEWARE: Go to A REPUTABLE Dealership;

by htingley on 05/31/2015

Lots of stock, but not one price on any of their products. Getting a price quote on a truck is like pulling teeth. These guys have to go inside the building to consistently find the prices. If you ask the price, they defer you to their website! What?!?! If you're on the lot at that moment, then you're likely using your smartphone, right? Well their mobile site is difficult to navigate, compared to their main site when using the computer at home. We ran into so many problems, it was rediculous. No shop/mechanic on site, so these guys are buying these vehicles (many from out of state, such as Colorado, or other places where there's a lot of salt on the roads from the snow plows), then they do no repair to the vehicle. They just detail it to make it look good enough to get it off the lot. We test drove 5 trucks and 4 out of those 5 had notifications or beeping coming from the instrument cluster telling the driver that there were mechanical issues that needed to be addressed with the vehicle. That was a big red flag. We came in with a preapproval letter from our credit union. We knew our payments, and our interest rate, and we knew already what we wanted to spend. We also came with a vehicle to trade in, and the minute we arrived, they offered to get the appraisal process started on it. 2 1/2 hours later, we still couldn't get an answer from them on what they would give us on trade! Each time we test drove a truck, we asked about our vehicle trade value and they blew us off. Their customer service is absolutely, hands down, the WORST we've ever dealt with. If you are like us, have great credit, are intelligent and aware enough to know how a car lot works, don't buy here! You won't get the best value for your hard earned dollar. If you're naive, easily manipulated, and are in a rush to have a vehicle pushed off on you, then by all means, go here for the full disrespectful package!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

by mikehall1 on 04/11/2015

Beware of this dealership. (dealership currently operating under a probational license through D.M.V) We purchased a 2006 f350 dually (beautiful truck!) Got a reasonable price etc. 18 months later while trying to trade truck at a different dealer i found out it has frame damage. (this information was never disclosed by Pacific Auto Center) No disclosures for frame damage were ever made by Pacific Auto Center. Today 4/10/15 we drove to Pacific Auto Center to see if this issue could be resolved without legal action. No go! I was offered fare market value! WOW! Then i was told that Pacific Auto Center had in fact disclosed the frame damage to us. ( there definition of disclosing was to attempt to slip the words Frame damage under are warranty) This does not suffice as a disclosure! After spending the entire part of my day trying to resolve the issue the end result as of now is it has been turned over to our lawyer for further action. STAY AWAY AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A CAR FROM A RESPECTABLE CUSTOMER FRIENDLY DEALER. THIS IS NOT A DEALERSHIP, ITS A RIP YOU OFF TRAINING GROUNDS. (last statement is purely my opinion and not actual fact) Not sure how long legal proceedings will take but i will definitely update Yelp once a resolution has been reached. Respectfully written: Mike Hall

Very shady auctioned car lot. Poor service and quality.

by darkstar1892 on 08/24/2014

DO NOT COME HERE if you're looking to get a fair deal. "Julio" was very unfriendly and wasn't willing to negotiate one penny under the listing price for the car. Once he realized that I wasn't going to pay full price he rudely told me to leave. Looking back, I'm very glad that I hadn't purchased a car here because overall the whole experience felt really shady and like a scam. About 90% of their cars are auction junk!!

Happy Truck Owner - Dealer Review

by Twin310 on 01/04/2013

I purchased a 2006 Ford F350 truck from Pacific Auto Center in December 2012. The sales representative – Victor – was very nice and knew the vehicles he was selling. They let my wife and I test drive the vehicle without the sales person with us so that we had time to discuss the proposed purchase. When we returned from the test drive, there was a problem that the dealer fixed immediately. We finally made a deal that all parties were satisfied with and we took the truck home that day. The warranty on the truck was a 50-50, 30 Days or 1000 miles, whichever came first. The next morning, the truck broke down and Daisy from Pacific Auto made arrangements for a tow truck to come and pick it up. They had to drive 130 miles round-trip to take care of the vehicle. It was an extensive repair that cost around $1,500.00 and the dealer took care of it and made good on selling us the best vehicle possible. You must remember that this is a “Flip” dealer. The majority of vehicles that they sell are purchased just to turn around and sell them. They have a huge inventory of trucks and cars, because that is what they do – SELL! I purchased a bumper to bumper 5 year warranty from my credit union and personally I feel that I got a good deal and a great truck! I would recommend them to friends and family.

they ripped me off on my warranty

by kimoellison on 11/06/2012

bought a truck there in august of 2012. there were some a few nice people who helped me out while i was pursuing the truck. once interested, they turned me to a guy named Moses. the guy was not very pleasant to work with. after we struck a deal about an extended warranty and price, i signed. little did i know that he distracted me from continuing to read the fine print. the deal was i got a full 3 month full warranty for an extra price of $700. a few days later i was going over my paper work and noticed that i had a level 1 warranty(which covered engine and transmission only) when i paid for a full coverage warranty. i tried contacting moses and he said he'd get back to me. i could not reach him again. i feel very used and not a valued customer. they have done nothing to make it right so far. i would not recommend this place to anybody for that one employee alone. as a matter of fact i would urge people to look somewhere else. i would like to say thank you to the newer employees that helped me out. i would have closed the deal with one of them if i would have known better.
