I was set on buying a new Camry SE. I emailed every Toyota dealership in the area and did not expect EG Toyota to come through with the best price as another much larger one had more of the exact model/ options I was looking for but I was wrong. I worked with the guys in their internet sales department and it was smooth, hassle free, stress free and no pressure. Why people still buy cars the "old way" is beyond me.

I used the Edmunds car dealers’ link to find all Toyota dealerships within a two hour drive of where I live (an East Bay city). I then used the individual dealer’s websites and looked up Toyota Tacoma pickups that met my criteria and requested price quotes within the dealers’ websites. The time ranges of responses were from minutes to days. The qualities of the responses were just rehashes of what I saw on the website to detail descriptions of the vehicle with window sticker PDFs and pictures. The quotes ranged from the sticker MSRP plus additional dealer markup to significant savings. Of all the responses that I received, Elk Grove Toyota had the best price, their response time was as quick as any other dealer, and the quote I had was of the highest quality so I could genuinely see what I was purchasing. Furthermore, they found a way that I could receive the manufacturer’s rebate and a loan percentage rate that was actually better than the manufacturer’s incentive rate. I actually sat on the quote for about a week before calling my salesman (the internet fleet manager). I asked him if he would still honor the quote. He asked me the specifics of the quote and immediately said yes. I then drove to the dealership the following day, an hour and a half drive, and I was in and out of the dealership in forty five minutes including the test drive. Every person I met was extremely friendly and helpful and there were none of the traditional car sales games that I have come accustomed to expect. Simply put, it was a very easy, no pressure, friendly buying experience in which I purchased the exact vehicle that I wanted and I got it for absolutely the best price possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Elk Grove Toyota and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them.

Bought a Sienna (2012 edition). Shopped around 2 months. Had the best deals compared to 100 miles around, including Bay Area. Got the best vehicle at the best price. Was hazel free. Mentioned my price and this is the only dealer who responded immediately for the price I offered. Went with them and am really enjoying the vehicle.
