Doesn't Own Their Own Mistkes

This dealership blatantly and obviously lost a 2nd Key FOB I returned with my vehicle lease return back in August. They seem to have immediately either incompetently or fraudulently lost and/or destroyed it, because a few days after I returned the car, they filled out paperwork on their own by themselves without my presence indicating only 1 Key FOB was returned to them. Of course, this document was not shared with me then, soon thereafter, or even ever until now. They've offered to provide a copy, but it won't do any good 6 months later as the document is incorrect; 2 Key FOB's were indeed returned August 31st, 2019. Since then, I've had several emails/contact us web site queries/voicemails/ and phone calls go mostly unanswered. Finally, with a few phone conversations I kept immediately following up upon several times, I got the vague and extremely weak circular argument that all their documents show 1 Key FOB was in their possession. Of course, all of these documents are in error, starting from the first one, and it's probably the same person filling them all out. If they lost the Key FOB immediately after turnover 8/31/19, it follows that the paperwork would show 1 Key FOB! They fill these out behind closed doors, behind the counters, without any input, agreement, or verification from the lessor that they are doing it correctly and accurately. Well in this case, they did so inaccurately, and that is 100% certain. They won't stand behind their mistakes, they simply beat around the bush about not knowing if they made a mistake. They know they made a mistake, starting with their own faulty system and procedures. They simply don't want to cough up the $350 to Kia Finance, and they simply don't want to do the right thing, which is very clear what that is in this case. This should have been a no brainer, rather than burn a potential future customer over $350.

Avoid this dealer!

My son, looking to establish his credit, bought an inexpensive car from them, was told he financing was set, and drove the car home. Two weeks later, he went to the dealer (nothing about financing) and was told he had 24hrs. to return the car because the financing fell through. The dealership never called him to let him know there was any kind of problem, leaving us to wonder if they would have just repo'd the car had he not gone in. People at the dealer that we spoke to were very rude and demanded the car back or they would come repo it. We simply wanted more time so that we could secure other financing, but they did not care.

Great experience

I recently went to team Kia of El Cajon and was looking for a Kia optima for my wife. I meet with mr Chris George and his staff who helped me the whole way through. I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this dealer to all my family and friends.

Longest time lost at car dealer 1/1/2015

First day of 2015 worst day ever ! Made an appointment days before 2 pm no sale reps had to wait 45 min after doing the credit app had to wait another hour! I was told my Bmw trade in car was worth $2000 wrong I looked it up $4700 I was told a $6000 Kia rebate if I bought a new car would go to the down payment after waiting for over an hour I was told I needed a $6000 down payment to buy a Kia wow the [non-permissible content removed]! Even with my income of $55k My friend bought a 2014 Ford F-150 crew cab truck with $3000 down and he does not even have a green card to work in this county and makes $33k under the table wow ! I guess my buying a ford truck same price then the toy Kia cars

Great experience

Their internet sales team provided us a great experience in our purchase of a 2013 Kia Optima SX. The initial price they offered was below the Edmunds True Market Value by a few hundred dollars. Not too many complaints for us. One issue was the time it took to make the purchase (6 hours total in the entire process including choosing the car) and the small difficulty we had in making our final decision in that they did not want us to go discuss it over dinner. To be fair, the let us take the car we were considering out to dinner to provide an extended test drive (and to ensure we would come back of course). They were slightly pushy about providing a price quote without stating that "we are ready to buy this car first". We were also a bit nervous how they starting filling out a credit application without asking us when we stated we had pre approved financing, we had to put a halt on that. Overall, they will ensure you find the exact car you want (large inventory) or will get it for you if they do not have it. From what I have seen, they have amazing facilities which we will enjoy coming back to in the future. Customer satisfaction seems to be a top priority for anyone making a purchase. Though we had some minor gripes which are expected when buying a car, it was overall one of the better car purchasing experiences we have had in our years.

Great Service...Not Pushy

I stopped by and looked at several used vehicles at Kia of El Cajon and talked with Chris A. He really listened to me..I told him I was not buying yet..he seemed liked he understood. They seemed to want to help me make right decision...I will be back!
