Helpful and Willing

by K_Burg on 09/30/2018

Working with Crain Hyundai of Fayetteville was a great experience. Micheal Manno work hard to get me in a vehicle that would suit the needs of my family as well as my budget. They worked with me and the lenders to get me a payment I could afford and a car that would last me for many years to go. I am very grateful to Micheal and the staff at Crain. I would recommend them to everyone.

Great experience purchasing first new car.

by Rwhitt21 on 08/22/2018

Newly married couple with fairly new credit. Came in looking for a brand new Silver 2018 Elantra Gt. Our sales consultant was Brandon Andrews who was absolutely phenomenal. He showed us the exact car we was wanting. No trying to show us other cars or push other vehicles on us. After deciding that was for sure the car we wanted, we was able to start the process completely pressure free. Brandon was incredible about not putting any pressure on us through the entire process and explaining everything to us in great detail so there was absolutely nothing hidden or not understood. Crain Hyundai was able to get us a great deal on the car. Also a great rate on our loan given our credit. The entire staff at Crain Hyundai was incredibly nice to us and our 4 year old daughter. We had such a great experience purchasing our first brand new car and can not wait to continue doing business with Crain Hyundai in the future. Highly recommend Crain Hyundai of Fayetteville and Brandon Andrews.

Finance Department

by kadams on 11/10/2017

I bought my car at Crain Hyundai when it was in Springdale. They were extremely helpful in getting me into a car and the service was great! They are nice to you if you are purchasing a car from them other than that they don't care. I have been trying for 2 months to get my gap insurance check and I the level of customer service I have had to deal with from the finance manager has been horrible. I will never ever buy a car from this place again and I will never refer this place to anyone that I know.

[non-permissible content removed]

by Greg on 10/01/2017

The flyers you sent out for the event at the Promenade is absolutely full of lies!!! And your team of [non-permissible content removed] ran my credit without my permission. I will be filing a lawsuit and contacting the better business bureau. I came to receive what I thought was a prize. And it turned into a 2 hour waste of time. And having my private information and credit invaded. You can not and will not continue to screw the honest people of NWA.

Offsite Event

by Tricked_Customer on 09/30/2017

I got a flyer in the mail about the Crain Automotive offsite event this week. It had a chance to win one of several prizes where you scratch off for a number that appeared to match to a prize. My number showed I won $999. Normally I don't fall for scams, but this one was confusing enough that I couldn't figure it out, so I thought maybe I had actually won. But no, it was a scam. I will never buy a car from them if they have to fool people to get them to come to their event. Not to mention making them stand in line with all the other people that couldn't figure out the scam wasting a bunch of everyone's time. Do they really think that's a good way to sell cars?

Deception in the name of rebates

by RV on 07/05/2017

Crain Fayetville has increased the base price of my deal by $2600 after going to the showroom in the name of weird fees. When asked they could not be losing $3500 in the name of rebate and so covering up for that!!! Why do you advertise in the name of rebates when you do not want to give it out? I am so depressed because I have to drive 3 hours to the showroom and drive back for another 3 hours with depression. Never choose Crain Hyundai Fayetville.

Poor Customer Service

by mandersond on 02/17/2017

I contacted Crain Hyundai of Fayetteville online about a vehicle that I had interest in. Immediately I received a generic email from a salesman about interest in the vehicle. I was very interested in this vehicle so I proceeded to text him to check the status of the vehicle. I included the stock # from their website. The salesman, Dereck Smith, told me the vehicle was available and offered to answer any questions about it. I asked if he was available to show the vehicle to my wife on her lunch break, to which he said that he was and set an appointment time. I noticed that the vehicle was shown to be at a different Crain dealer on parts of their website and at theirs on other parts. I asked Dereck about if they just recently acquired the vehicle, explaining this issue. He replied simply “I’m not sure”. I contacted him approx. 30 minutes before my wife was scheduled to be at the dealership for the test drive and he confirmed the appointment. When my wife arrived she was told that Dereck was with another customer and that they would text him to notify him that she was there. My wife was left standing in the lobby past her appointment time and she noticed someone walk by her with “Dereck” on his nametag. She introduced herself and said she was there for her scheduled test drive. He said that he had not been notified of her arrival. He then proceeded to look up the vehicle, only to find that it was not at their dealership, rather another Crain dealer across the state. The salesman simply said “the vehicle isn’t here, sorry”. If you are considering this dealership for your next vehicle purchase, I would warn not to expect much in the way of being valued as a customer. What equated to an hr+ commute for my wife round trip could have been averted with a simple 5 minutes to check the status of this vehicle. I could not discourage someone enough from giving this dealership your time or money.

Very dissatisfied first time buyer

by laura_ashley3 on 11/06/2016

I bought a car recently for the first time--so I know when I walked in their first thought was probably "sucker." Not only did they not listen to me/disregard what I was asking to see, I wanted to stay at a certain price or lower and was very adamant about that. I told them I would take a lesser car that was similar if it would be in my price range. I just liked one that was a particular color, but didn't care about fancy details. Well, in the negotiations I felt very pressured and talked-down to, but they finally worked it out where my monthly payment was EXACTLY what I told them my limit was. I wasn't sure if that was a good idea, since it was the maximum, but it had been almost 4 hours and I didn't want to prolong the process and wasn't sure if this was all normal since I'd never purchased a car on my own. So I went with it. But that's where they get you. Then you go in to sign all these papers and apparently there's a gap thing you have to purchase to pay additionally every month that took me over my limit. There were 3 options, and I picked the middle one because I was led to believe that included oil changes and tire rotations, so I figured even if I'm paying extra every month, if that is included then maybe it would almost balance out? Whatever. Then I get my car home and the radio signal wasn't very strong at all, which I thought was strange but didn't question too much, but then my air conditioning went out on a 5-hour drive so I had to take it in to be serviced about a week later. There had been a recall on a couple parts so they arranged to replace those, and I off-handedly mentioned my radio and was met with an almost condescending lecture about radio and satellite signals but they said they would look into it--only to come back a few minutes later to grill me on where my antenna went... I have a picture from when I purchased it at the dealership; it never had an antenna on it (which is explained my problems receiving local channels), but I felt like I was treated as if I had done something to cause it when it came that way. But it was all on warranty and they fixed everything. Then, I had my first oil change that they set up for free when I bought my car. The service went quickly and that was actually finally a pleasant experience, until at the end when I was asking about my gap coverage and the oil changes and tire rotations that were supposed to be included for what I'm paying every month.... first, another condescending lecture about what the gap coverage is for, but when I explained the 3 options and how the man had led me to believe that it included these things, the guy said he would look into it and get back to me. That was a week ago and I still haven't heard anything, and honestly the more I think about all of this, the more angry I get. Everyone at the dealership is out for themselves, and out to make money. They don't care about you, or what you want, or what you value. I didn't see a single car I was asking to see, and I am so dissatisfied with my purchase and deeply regret it. Try to look for a place that employs humans instead of robots--a place that actually cares about people as individuals instead of only their bottom line. I would never recommend this place to a friend; in fact I steer people away. And I guess I learned a valueable experience for what not to look for next time I want to buy a car. Thanks for nothing Crain Hyundai of Fayetteville.

by askaggs86 on 04/05/2016

I had an amazing experience with Crain Hyundai of Bentonville! The people are great! I was able to get the car I wanted and I wasn't there for 6 hours, like I was when I was looking at cars across the street :) I will recommend this place to anyone!
