Great service!

I am WOWED by my experience with Liberty Cars and Trucks! First I had been searching for a Jeep Grand Cherokee for weeks, came across this dealership on auto trader because they had what I wanted. Came in with my grandmother, Keith was first to greet us, he was so cool, laid back, and easy going. Both Keith and David were fair and patient with us. They punched in the numbers, We did not purchase the vehicle right away. We slept on it and then the next day they called us to let us know they found us a lower interest rate. That is customer service, going above and beyond to help us out. Also, We only wanted a 4 year loan and to only pay a certain amount a month, they made it happen. Working with this company was a pleasure. Keith, David and Dana were all amazing, explained everything, and most importantly answered all our questions! They are NOT pushy salesman at all. Did not rush us into making a decision neither! I am grateful there is still dealerships like this out here. Family oriented and caring for their customers! Will spread the word about this place. Only great things to say! Thank you Liberty Cars& Trucks!

Best Used Car Lot with the Best People!

These guys really worked with us and were extremely kind. We would refer them to anyone, anytime. Keep in mind when looking at the cars on their lot, they have not yet been detailed. Once you find the car that meets your needs and are ready to purchase, they will then detail it. Have an issue with a vehicle you like on the lot? Just tell them and they will work with you to get it fixed prior to sale. We went in skeptics and came out friends, with the perfect vehicle at a perfect price :o)

Absolutely no hassle and UPFRONT dealer!!!

After shopping at the big Nissan dealers with what I call their "deceptive and false leader" deals, we stumbled upon Liberty Cars & Autos on Edmunds while looking for a Nissan Rogue. When all was said and done, we ultimately bought the exact one we found online from Liberty and I cannot say it enough about how pleased and presently surprised we were with our dealings with Liberty – specifically with Bill over the phone and with Dana for the finalization of the buy. SOLID, UPFRONT and no hidden agendas during this purchase. Let me tell you how much I appreciate the folks at Liberty, but to get a gauge as to why, let me share the horror of dealing with another Big Box car dealer. Started with a day of heading over to a specific dealer with paperwork in-hand showing the EXACT car me & my wife were looking for - right down to the VIN, advertised price and other vehicle info as provided on their very own online inventory. I even called ahead to verify that car was still available and that the advertised price was correct. Got there with paperwork in hand and let salesman know which car I exactly wanted and did not need to see anything else. Salesman said “No problem” and I was excited to get right down to the test drive and the paperwork. Here is where it all turns bad – car salesman takes us out to test drive and takes us to a different color vehicle. We are puzzled, it obviously is not the car we said we wanted. Asked why? Car salesman says before he shows us that base model, he wanted to show us an even BETTER and UPGRADED model that is basically the same price as the base model I came in wanting. Didn’t ask for that but if it is indeed a better deal, well then. So after the test drive and the walk-sound of the vehicle, we sit down to discuss the details. Low and behold, the car is almost $2,500 more than the one we walked in to buy. WHY attempt to think we would accept a higher priced car and waste our time. We said we were NOT interested and sales guy says but let me see what my manager can do. Despite us not believing anything could be done to get us to the base price model cost, we reluctantly allow for what is soon to be found out to be a charade. After an hour plus of back and forth, the sales guy was supposedly able to get that upgraded vehicle for only $800 more than the base model we initially wanted. Great, right? WRONG, after getting all of the paperwork started (and keep in mind we came in to the dealership already pre-approved with our bank), when we are getting the details, the price per month is alone double what we had calculated. Long story short, dealer has “Add-on’s” and cost that are on-top of MSRP for stuff like tint, clear coating, door guard protectors, yadda, yadda and that all comes up to an additional $2,500 AND worst, are not options you can say you don’t want. PLUS, they indicated they needed to charge taxes based on the original MSRP when received on their lot, prior to the sale MSRP listed – which is bull but that meant instead of 8.3% on $17,000 it was 8.3% on $24,000 (for an added $500). Obviously we finally demanded that we drop this upgraded car deal and could we just go back to the original vehicle we wanted in the first place – which after almost 2 hours of being sullied by this dealership, they respond “That vehicle was sold a few days ago”. Sorry for the long story but wanted to get to WHY it was so refreshing to deal with Liberty who came at it with honesty and not hidden fees. Thanks again Liberty (Dana & Bill) and if you’re wondering the Big Box Dealer – stay away from Peoria Nissan!!! R & S Valenzuela
