2026 Chrysler Pacifica Consumer Reviews

No Car, No rental or loaner, No ETA to fix
My 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid has been at dealer service department for approximately 4 weeks of the four months since delivery. Latest is a red warning light which says "Hybrid Electrical Service Required". Dealer says it needs new transmission and those are backordered indefinitely. Does anyone know if those transmissions are even being produced? Dealer doesn't provide loaners or rental, and Chrysler Cares won't reimburse rentals until service is completed - but there is no ETA from dealer on when transmission will arrive and so no estimate on service completion. So - No Car / No Rental / No ETA to resolve. Not happy.
2023 Chrysler Pacifica Limited AWD
This vehicle is overall a solid minivan choice... esp in black with the S-Appearance package... The Limited version took 2.5 months to be delivered from a custom order... with several disappointing omissions with the 2023 Limited... 1. no space saver spare, 2. no tire sealant kit, 3. no power to the third row seating!!! My 2019 Pacifica Limited offered all of the above. Otherwise... a super minivan... a Dad Van!

Great family wheels
Love the room the drive from Ontario to Florida proved to be comfortable and problem free. AC worked great heating worked great. handles in the snow very well and in the heat. Really put to the test and was just pure pleasure to drive everywhere with it. so pleased with every aspect of the vehicle. If this lasts like our Caravan 13 years and 286,000 km really problem free and still 7000 at trade in. Very pleased with Chrysler It’s now March 2025 and still absolutely LOVE the Pacifica

Overall satisfied and with exceptional gas mileage
On a hot, 93 degree day, my on-board computer indicated 35 mpg highway!! I purposely drove between 55 and 60 mph as a test to see what it would do. We drive lots of highway miles daily and the gas mileage is consistently over 30 mpg during the simmer months here in New England. Driving tip: when using speed control: click "cancel" when driving down a fairly steep hill and the van will increase speed to optimize gas mileage. Otherwise, the van will actually brake to hold the selected speed, thus very slightly decreasing mileage. The seats are too firm, Chrysler needs to soften them up a little, yet the design fits the body well like a good fitting shoe. We looked at all minivans and a Subaru Outback and found that their seats are even stiffer (awful), Subaru being the worst. The "Unconnect" system works well except for one major flaw. The recorded music I ripped from my CD's to a USB drive does NOT appear in proper sequence. It becomes scrambled. Same with my USB movies. However, when I play the same USB drive in my 2023 Genesis G80, the music list appears in perfect order. I searched numerous Unconnect forums and discovered this to be a universal problem that cannot be fixed. With 50,000 plus miles and five years ownership, I plan to buy another Pacifica. After extensively researching the Pacifica plug-in hybrid to further optimize my gas mileage, I think I'll stick with the front-wheel drive gas version. The Hybrid version appears to have too many issues and a history of reliability problems. According to "Consumer's Report", one out of five have problems. That is totally unacceptable, especially for a $60,000 vehicle. Scary to think the van could stop running on a busy highway where we spend most of our time driving. Another van-buying tip: Chrysler is the ONLY mini-van that has kept a DVD/CD player in addition to multiple USB outlets, TWO movie screens, a 110/115 volt house-current outlet, 12 volt outlet (for our mini-fridge). The Toyota Sienna's video screen does NOT have the capability of mirroring my Android phone where my wife can watch streaming services like NETFLEX, ACORN, BRITBOX, etc. The Pacifica does have "mirroring". The Chrysler Pacifica has it all and I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who has a growing family and especially for retired senior citizens. Buying an SUV (because you like the looks) is like buying an abbreviated mini-van. I've seen young growing families trade down from a mini-van to a smaller SUV (Subaru & Honda) and then attach a roof luggage carrier. Meanwhile their kids have grown to be six-footers and they gave up all of that mini-van space. They end up stuffing their kids into this SUV which looks like a golf ball.

We still love a mini van
Great van. The days of affordable vehicles are over. The days of minimal electronics and manual controls are over. The standard model has way more bells and whistles than I would ever choose to have on a vehicle. The auto manufacturers leave us no otherchoices. I have owed a Plymouth Grand Voyager, Dodge Grand Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country and now the Pacifica. I feel the Town and Country power train was smoother than the Pacifica. The shifting is a bit clunky at times and throttle response is sub par. It has a nice ride quality and is very comfortable. I hope this rig lasts as long as it's predecessors. I feel the Pacifica was the best over all mini van choice vs the competition. The mid seats that are stow n go have a terrible headrest release system. There is a weak point that connects the latch to the headrest. It's going to break if you use the stow n go. They should be ashamed of the failure rate and repair cost. $150 for the entire headrest and dealer install cost to repair a .10 cent piece of plastic. I just repaired my father in laws headrest on the passenger side. I plan to make a metal replacement part for that plastic bit. Same design for years with no changes from them. Google it. Pacifica stow n go headrest failure.
