Nearly perfect...nearly
Nearly perfect. I traded in my 2018 Pacifica Limited for the Red "S" Limited edition. I personally like the red seats! I use mine for business and rarely carry more than one passenger. More apparent room and far more flexibility than any other minivan from what I saw. I didn't look at published specs to bear that out but it seems to be the case. Stow and Go seating is worth the price of admission. All seats aft of the driver row fold to an almost cargo van flat. The third row is electricI took one star off because there is still some occasional glitchyness in the transmission although it is vastly improved from my 2018. Downshifts under moderate load with light throttle at 60+mph are a bit harsh particularly with cruise on a slight grade. Seems to be happening when downshifting out of OD. Cruise control and steering are much improved. Steering feel is more precise with a comfortable feel on center. Radar cruise is very smooth and reliable. Seats are more adjustable and VERY comfortable. The Limited "S" edition has the 20" wheels which not only look nice but add a much needed improvement in the ride and handling. The ride is firmer without being harsh. The larger wheels seem to take bumps much better. Overall the interior is quieter. I didn't go AWD because in MD the roads are clear 98% of the time. Hybrid would have been nice but you lose the Stow and Go. I still think the minivan is a much better option than a large SUV. This is a very comfortable and competent highway cruiser. Unbelievably, Chrysler seems to have pretty much nailed it. I guess the (former) partnership with Mercedes taught them a few things. ***Update After nearly 40K miles (16 months) no issues other than the harsh downshifts under throttle. The dealer (Fred Frederick) was very accommodating throughout my ownership and did their best to fix the problem, even replacing the throttle body. But alas, only temporary improvement. I had to trade it in because now I need a vehicle to tow stuff. Something to beware of though with nearly 40K miles (38,8xx) Carmax wouldn't even buy it. Even though it was dealer maintained and in tip top condition. I had to trade it and got hammered. ***

Visited dealership for repairs 6 times in 6 months
I have a Chrysler Pacifica Limited. It's had one issue after another. Electrical issues, infotainment screen freezing, fuel pump failed, issues with sliding doors, and the latest is the compressor on the A/C is bad. It's unbelievable how many times I've had to take it to the dealership for repairs. I love this van as far as the interior features and comfort but it has not been reliable and I've spent hours taking it on for repairs.

Great specs but totally unreliable.
I purchased a 2020 Limited in September of 2020. It is now August of 2021 and Chrysler has sent me an offer to buy back the vehicle after months of my requests that they do so. Problems have included poor electric range, terrible whining and straining sounds, the check engine light coming on when I was 700+ miles from home (prompting Chrysler reps to direct me to leave the vehicle at a rural service center and rent a car to drive home with my two large dogs and belongings), defroster fogging up windows while driving on freeway (has happened multiple times), while driving getting an alarm claiming no hands detected on steering wheel (when both hands were def on the wheel), vehicle auto starting in driveway and getting excessively hot on driver seat floor and on dash though climate was off...the list goes on. I paid a premium for the top trim to have all the safety features. I had researched this vehicle for months, and was really excited about owning it. Many of the features are great, but none of them matter when you can't use the vehicle. Chrysler has been a nightmare to deal with despite this van going to the shop more than 3 times since purchased brand new. I had to fight with them to pay for my rental car when they told me to leave it 700 miles from home. Ruined my trip. I wish this vehicle worked as promised, but it does not. And even worse, Chrysler service centers don't know how to fix anything on it. They will scan for codes and if they don't get a code, or get one they don't understand, they'll simply clear it out of the system and tell you everything is fine if the code doesn't return immediately. My vehicle has been in a service center for diagnostics and/or repairs for approximately 1 month out of the 10.5 months I've owned it. And I have put less than 4k miles on it. It was in the shop for 3 weeks at approximately 1700 miles. I regret buying this vehicle. It's a fantastic concept but it has been poorly executed.

Many problems especially hard shifts
The transmission on the Pacifica is awful. Hard shifts (and I mean really hard!) are common occurrences and started while it was new. Problems with the electrical system and the automatic doors not closing correctly. My first and last Chrysler.

Nana loves her new Pacifica!
This is our fourth Chrysler Corp van, and to my knowledge, still the only one that has Stow 'n Go seating, allowing a completely flat floor, at floor level, without removing seats. And now it's easier than ever to convert from a comfortable 7 passenger van with good baggage capability, to an easy to load panel truck. This is a very versatile vehicle. Only problem is it's so nicely appointed you don't want to get it dirty or banged up by hauling stuff! The new one is quiet, easy to drive, comfortable, and as stylish as any other van. You can get it with all the same toys available on much more expensive cars. I'm pretty sure this will be another "keeper!"

Glad I bought this van
Researched all the minivans. Owned an older Odyssey spans and liked it. Couldn’t get away from all the Pacifica’s features and good reviews. Got it a month ago and the more I drive it the more I like it. It’s got good power, comfortable, quiet, and many, many features. The 9 speed tranny’s fine so far, smooth. If you’re on the fence get it you’ll like it. Touring L “S” with advanced safety tec

2nd Pacifica and we love it even more
We replaced our leased 2017 Pacifica with a 2020 Pacifica. We liked our 2017 very much but it had several widely documented annoyances (e.g. lack of carplay, backup camera/infotainment display too dim, etc). The 2018 and newer models fixed these annoyances - I guess that's the problem of getting a 1st model year car. The 2 cars are 95% the same, but these updates and other minor improvements made the 2020 even better. We had no issues w our 2017 except for a handful of recalls, which were annoying. Hopefully the 2020 will be as reliable. I actually wanted to get a hybrid version, but b/c of production delay and the timing of our lease expiration, we were forced to get another gas version. We had previously leased a 2014 Odyssey, which was an OK car. We also looked into a 2020 Odyssey. Each has its virtues, but we felt the Pacifica fits our needs better. Even though we have other luxury cars in the family, I would usually prefer driving the Pacifica as it's just so functional as a family vehicle.

Significant transmission issues.
Purchased new in October 2020, noticed that the vehicle was overheating shortly after purchasing it. Took it to the dealer and there was a manufacturing defect in both the radiator and ac condenser, causing small leaks. Dealer replaced both under warranty. The auto on/ off feature then began failing randomly with the warning light coming on several times a week. Dealer could not duplicate problem. The next issue was the transmission. Approximately 8 months into ownership (8000 miles)the transmission began shifting hard. A service shifter notification would sometimes display. The shifting quickly grew much harsher so it took another trip to the dealer. The dealer checked the TCM and stated they could not duplicate the issue, thiugh there was an error code for the TCM losing communication. Transmission was shifting extremely hard and actually completely disengaged for about 5 seconds during the trip home. I was now concerned for the safety of my family and no longer trusted the vehicle. Though I still had plenty of warranty left I was already growing tired of continued trips to the dealer and their inability to ameliorate the vans issues. I made the decision to trade it in on a new 2021 Sienna and thankfully the used car market is crazy so the trade in value ended up being the same as the purchase price when I bought it. The van was comfortable and the stow and go seats were extremely convenient though the van had far too many reliability issues for a new vehicle.

Nice car, terrible cruise control
After numerous problems with the cruise control we went back to the dealership. They sent me on the road to see if the problem could be reproduced. The tech directed me to hill representative of the ones we were having problems with. At 40 mph and going downhill, the vehicle rmp advanced to over 3k finally went into free fall. At 55 mph, the tech said "go ahead and put the break on; it shouldn't be doing this!" Well later in the day, a call from the dealership said that the car was performing as engineered and there was no fix available. This has been an issue for the past several. Years with their 9 speed transmission. " Nearly 40 k for a car with a cruise control inferior to my 17 year old F 150! So many features to love in this vehicle but I consider this a safety issue that precludes me from recommending this car from any one I care about. Also, I completed a review from Chrysler regarding my purchase and never heard back from them. Wish I could recommend this car but I just can't.

Get vehicle with a lousy transmission
This is my second Chrysler Pacifica period the proof was a 2017 and my current one is a 2020. Obviously I like the vehicle enough to buy two of them however I continue to be terribly disappointed with the clunky transmission. Unfortunately I thought they would’ve corrected this after three years of production but I was wrong. Unfortunately I thought they would’ve corrected this after three years of production but I was wrong I will probably keep it For two more years but I will be hitting the transmission the whole time. It’s a shame they are not able to correct this because the vehicle is so good in every other way

Super Spiff
I just got my car last night so have much to explore. But driving home on the icy roads in the mountains, I loved how solid it felt. Hugged the road like my Beamer does. Heated seats, auto bright lights, lots of details that make the car easy. Roomy and comfortable. I love it already.

Will not buy Chrysler ever again
Transmission problems. Took to a dealership a few times for some major transmission work. The car still shifts super hard from park to drive. Miscellaneous problems: sunroof motor broke and had to be replaced. The sliding door didn't open properly, glass had to be reinstalled. Check engine went on a few times. The car is 8 months old.

Love this car!
I did my homework, shopped around, considered the new 2019 and pre-owned Limited’s and decided on the less bells and whistles, Touring. I chose Touring with upgraded Safety features and the GPS 8” screen. The Dealer will add the leather and complete all weather mats as well as having the windows tinted (since there are no pull up screens for the 3rd seat). It will have everything I want without paying for extras I won’t use. This is on the advice of the great salesman, Chris Rodriquez and his team at Bill Bryant Chrysler in Florida. Thank you!

Amazing car for a young minivan owner!
I absolutely love my Chrysler Pacifica!! Never in a million years did I ever think I would have a minivan at 31, or ever, but I began to realize just how practical they were and the Chryslers are so sleek looking and in my opinion they are the more "luxurious" of all the vans out there. I love the storage, leather seats, heated 2nd row captain seats, and the sun shades. Not to mention the DVD player screen/tablet that's in the back of both the driver and passenger seat, that's my oldest two boys favorite part! Not having to worry about the boys slamming my doors into other people's car is a major plus as well! Another thing I like is that I can open any door from my key fob, a push of a button on the handle or inside of the door AND I can push door buttons from my drivers seat! One more cool thing is that if your stopped somewhere eating lunch on a long trip you can put in a DVD or stream something from your phone and you can put it on your screen in the front. So if my boys are watching a movie on a long drive and we pull over to eat lunch and take a break from driving and they're watching a movie I can push the "view" button and watch what they are in the front. It of course turns off once you start driving but I wouldn't expect them to do it any other way. I feel like I could go on and on with all the features the Pacifica has to offer but it would be the longest review ever and we would be here all day! Long story short, I absolutely love my Pacifica and will have one until the day my boys are old enough to have their own cars and can drive themselves around!

2020 Pacifica Hybrid died 2 weeks after purchase
Unfortunately, there is no review for the 2020 model on Edmunds yet so I'm putting it under 2019. Purchased a Pacifica Hybrid in January 2020 and the car died 2 weeks later while driving it. Had to tow it to dealer. PIM problem with 7 different failure codes. P061B, P062C, P06B4, P0A45, P0C1A and P215B.

Great so far
Bought it in March 2020, 9000 miles on it now. Absolutely a fantastic road vehicle, comfortable and very roomy. Actual gas mileage is over 32, much better than that if you charge the battery pack when parked. The Advanced Safety Tech package comes with dual entertainment screens in the back of the front seats, and includes tons of safety features. Well worth the money ($995) when buying. Shifts smoother and drives better than the gas model. The third row seats are Stow and Go so they store under the floor for more storage. Be sure and check the tax incentives when buying new, at least $7500 federal, states also have different ones (Texas - $2500). Very happy with mine so far.

LOVE THIS VAN!!!
I just traded in my leased 2018 Pacifica Hybrid Limited for a 2020 Pacifica Hybrid Limited Red S, which has Ferrari Red seats with a black exterior and a black-out interior and black rims. I loved my 2018 as well, however, it was lacking the Safety Tec and Tri-Pane sunroof....and of course that awesome red and black interior! I had an Odyssey in the past which I also loved, except the gas was a killer, as I averaged about 18 miles per gallon. Now, I can go months sometimes without needing to fill my tank. I average 50 to 70 miles per gallon on a daily basis, except long trips where I am using just gas, however, I still average 28-36 miles per gallon. I don't have kids, just a Doberman, but I love a minivan! And this one is almost bordering on....dare I say it...cool. I have had no issues with either my 2018 or 2020 van. The technology is top notch, the safety features are amazing and it drives very well. But I am no longer the lead foot I used to be in my youth, so maybe if that was the case I would have a different opinion. I also only would buy import cars in the past. The Pacifica is the first domestic car I have bought in over 35 years and it is probably my favorite car ever! I don't love the Chrysler dealerships, as I find them much more difficult to work with than import dealerships, however, I have not had any problems with Chrysler Corp itself. So to summarize, there is much to love about a fully loaded Pacifica Hybrid....it is a luxury car in the form of a minivan, with all the perks and features of a luxury car, but with the addition of space, convenience and great fuel economy. To me, because I am a small female, the only downside is the lack of Stow-n-Go seats, because those seats are very heavy to remove and replace. Perhaps Chrysler will be able to configure the Hybrid with all the features of the gas model, like power 3rd row folding, the vacuum, etc, but that is so minor compared to what you do get in this van already.

Smooth ride and plenty of entertainment
First off, I never wanted and still do not want a minivan. That being said, this is the best option out there. The stow and go seating is the clincher. The ride is smooth and feels almost sporty. Tons of entertainment to keep the kids quiet. Opted for the additional speaker package which helps drown out the noise from the back. Alot of amenities. Some of the interior constructions seems haphazard. Interior roof seems flimsy, not alot of support. Do not see that as much of an issue though. Overall if you need to get a minivan, this is the one to go for.

Lasted one day!
The charging system went kaput. We thought we were buying a great vehicle to meet our needs but turned out to be another Chrysler dud. We should have continued to avoid Chrysler products. A 25 year avoidance will continue. The Pacifica van is still at the dealer. It’s starting the third week! Does this qualify for a lemon? The dealer says no our lawyer says “maybe”. Depends on future problems. Wonderful experience while buying an expensive car to enjoy and help the environment?

Driver Seat Peeling
Please be aware of the quality of product from Chrysler. The quality of leather on driver seat on 2020 Chrysler Pacifica only 9,000 miles, under 12 months of ownership is terrible. It is peeling and underlayer is showing. There is no warranty, as Chrysler states it is normal wear and tear. I do not want to see the seats with 50,000 miles on them. The warranty bumper to bumper is an imagination and everything can be claimed as normal wear and tear. Cheap and poor quality. Chrysler is not what it used to be. Myself, and my immediate family owned many JCD cars and the quality is going down, I will not even start on costumer service. I called Chrysler directly and asked lady to talk to supervisor, I received an answer that she does not want to waste her supervisors time. I will never buy that brand cars again and whoever is looking to buy, please think this through, before making same mistake as I did.

Trying Trany
Bought vehicle Dec 31st...April 1/21 transmission failed. Two & half months is get replacement! 4200 kms... Just this week had front tire go flat on Hyw, called Road Side assistance & told they would pickup vehicle but leave myself & physically handy capped wife on side of highway.....No jack supplied, only 12 Volt air pump with fluid which was repair punctures, does not work....In order to get front end high enough to get used jack under you have to jack rear wheels high enough to allow chassis on front to rise & then block & the place jack under front support to remove flat.Impossible to do unless you carry a spare jack & have material to lower rear end & support front end to reposion jack. In this case I had to use stones .....I have bought a full size rim & tire as this operation to change a tire is dangerous & in cold weather impossible.

They lie about it's ability to tow!
Before I purchased this van(2020 Pacifica Hybrid S Anniversary addition) they told me it could to, and they install hitches on them all the time (Gettel Chrysler Dodge sales), and they checked with the maintenance shop in back before I purchased the one I did. Don't know if they believed that or not, considering Chrysler corp. office advertised (then) the Hybrid could tow up to 3600 lbs when so equipped. They no longer are advertising that on their web site. In fact they removed it, and removed the "Option for adding the tow package from their web site. Now saying They Hybrids are not recommended to tow, and they, as of sometime in Nov.2020, removed the package, and changed their add. When I purchased this van I emphatically told the dealer "I have no use for the van if it can't tow?" They guaranteed me puting on a tow package was no problem. They do it all the time on the Hybrids. That was a Lie? The day I brought it home straight from the dealer, I spent the evening reading the manuals. When I read it can't tow (per the manual) I called Chrysler 800# customer service. I explained to the lady rep. the situation, and I told her "I was planning a big trip across country in the next couple of days, and didn't want to take the van if it didn't have the ability to tow, I would bring it right back to the dealer." She took the van VIN# and said she needed "to check with their experts." after a brief while on Hold, she came back on the phone and assured me "Mr. Campbell, there is no problem, YES the vehicle can tow." That same day (the day after I bought it) I returned to the dealer anyway because part of the entertainment package was missing (which they replaced with incompatible components), and I again mentioned my concerns because of what the manual stated, and that Chrysler also reassured me my new van can tow. Much MUCH more dealing with Chrysler and all since, with NO "0" satisfaction! Is anyone out there started a "Class Action case"?

Sister loves her new Chrysler Pacifica
Lots of bells and whistles - love the stow and go seats - don’t know whether it’s FWD or AWD? My sister purchased this vehicle. It is not a HYBRID but she is so happy with the gas version.
2020
I have owned a Chrysler vehicle since 1989. We were on our 7th child. Had a town and country till we bought our pacifica because town and country was no longer available. I 💘 love the safety on my vehicle. It let's you know if someone is on your side. If you want to change lanes, it let's you know if it is not safe to change lanes. It has been awesome, especially that I travel from Minnesota to Texas twice a year. Would definitely buy another one. It comfort level is great. It doesn't have all the recalls like other vehicles. Will definitely buy another one. Like all van's, it has an enormous amount of space. You can put more than you can in a pickup. LOVE 💘 LOVE 💘 . You won't regret it.

Not what I was expecting!
Center console has no console to put anything in so it is a glorified cup holder. Just open space which if you put anything in that space it ends up in the back of the van because it is not enclosed. They also failed to tell me there is no spare tire. They replace it with the gunk you put in a flat with a small puncture so if you have a large hole or blowout, well can you say tow cost as no SPARE! I do like the style of the van but if I had my choice, I would have kept my town and country. I had a DVD installed and of course it has to play on a low channel in the radio, so you are hit or miss if you get a good station without the sound going out. I had made sure I had asked if it would be like my town and country and they said yes. It would go thru the radio also. But that was a lie. I have to put the DVD into the player not the radio then hope I get a station that you can hear it thru. I hate this van and I just bought it. I know these issues are not major but for the amount I paid, it is major to me!

Seating/stow n go
We love the ease of the stow and go. however; with the 8 seat option when you take the middle seat out (this seat is NOT stow n go) or leaves a hole in the floor with no carpet piece to insert or cover. That’s a pain in the neck when you have kids or dogs.

Happy wife happy life
Went to miller motors with intentions to buy a large suv I stand saw this and had to go with it. Having a family of 6 it was a must have
Excited about the ease
I haven't had my car long enough to thoroughly check out every feature, but driving home last night on the icy road in the mountains, I loved it. Hugged the road. Didn't feel much different in that reagard than my 5 series Beamer. Roomy, comfortable. And wow, heated seats.
Pacifica Touring L "Sport" rattles and clangs
I loved the car when I bought it new, but now have 15,000 miles on it and all of a sudden it clangs and "clunks" each and every time I let up on the gas and then press on the gas a second or two later as if there is a LINKAGE or LOOSE bolt in the undercarriage somewhere---IT IS ANNOYING. Taking it to the dealer next week probably only to be told....if we can't see it on the code, we can't determine where the F__ the noise is coming from.

amazing all purpose vehicle
while we often think of minivans as useful for family and children, it's perfect for seniors as the easy access doors are just great for entering, exiting, loading groceries, and are so comfortable and roomy! We love our Pacifica! It's our second, and had town and Country vans previously.

Comfort and Function
Fantastic van! I was hesitant to go from SUV to van, but the Pacifica absolutely convinced me I've made the right choice!! LOVE THIS VAN!! Great ride and every detail makes the trip better. I have health issues and back pain but this van is amazingly comfortable even on a long road trip!
Excellent All-Around Vehicle
We purchased our Pacifica Hybrid brand new towards the end of 2020 and it has been an excellent vehicle for us. I had test driven hybrid vehicles before, but the ~30 mile drive home from the dealer was absolute bliss. Everything was perfect, the smooth quiet ride, the impressive acceleration on electric, the agile handling, and the attractive interior. Yes, we've had to take it into the dealer a few times for a couple minor items (blinker fault, trim wind noise, rear suspension noise), but everything was repaired under warranty. It has never left us on the side of the road, about the only let-down we've had is when we go on a trip and realize we've left the EV charger at home. One complaint I have so far is Chrysler's recommendation for not towing with the hybrid drivetrain. We live in a northern climate, and I install snow tires on my vehicles in the winter, especially if they're 2WD. With the snow tires we can get around just fine with no hesitation, about the only concern is when trying to accelerate from a stop, the front wheels like to spin instead of a gradual speed up. The colder weather does drain the battery a little faster heating the cabin, but it does run the engine more to keep up when the temps drop below 32°F. We've taken it on many winter ski-trips and we are very confident driving the Pacifica in the winter. We use our Pacifica enough during the day that we charge the battery every night. We charged off of the Level 1 Charger for the first year, and installed a Level 2 Charger in our garage the next year. We had some incentives from our local utility to help pay for the Level 2 Charger if we signed up for off-peak control. The Level 2 charger is nice with being able to charge in 2 hours, but you can get by with the Level 1 Charger since it can fully charge overnight. After almost 3 years of daily use, the battery seems to be holding its own. We have no regrets with our Pacifica Hybrid and it is the vehicle of choice for us when we need a smooth comfortable ride, especially on road trips. I see PHEV's a perfect compromise of technology as you get the benefits of an EV for daily driving, and the benefits of ICE for longer trips.

Love the Chrysler Hybrids!
My wife and I simply loved our 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. In my view, it's the best combination on the market at present. The only reason we traded was to secure new safety features in the new version that we anticipate needing this next summer. Price was a factor as well as Chrysler had a couple of really good deals.

I have owned 4 vans. This one did not have some of the van like things I expected from my previous models

Comfortable vehicle to pamper you.
Despite its high price tag, there are a ton of discounts to make it to the low to mid 30's range for the hybrid. Just did a 2k mile road trip and my 3y/o was still looking forward for more. Tons of comfort and utility to pamper the riders and driver.
Completely Unreliable
We've had our 2020 Pacifica Hybrid for about a year & half with 18,000 miles on it. Our first trip to the dealer for service was a week after we got it, when it needed battery coolant-to which the service manager tried to tell me there was no such thing-clearly he wasn't familiar with the hybrid. It has also been towed to the dealer TWICE since we got it because of electrical issues & not being able to get it to run-the 2nd time they had to replace the 12V battery in hopes of that fixing the problem. The check engine light is on and has been for a month-it went to the dealer for that too, for which they've ordered a battery heater & it will need to go back for FIFTH time for that to be put it. Oh & they're also monitoring the level of the battery coolant because that was again low. I really like the interior features & comfort of the vehicle, great on long trips, comfortable seats, so many bells & whistles! It does get loud when running on engine vs. battery. As a single car household we need something more dependable.
Nice car and comfortable driving, bad electronics
Comfortable driving and big car for loading bikes or more people. Problems with electronics. -- Flickering screen. It happen after 1 year after I purchased new 2020 Pacifica. The replacement gave me 2 years warranty. Now the 2 years warranty is over and the screen is flickering. Looks like a software bug, not a hardware. When I replace the radio fuse, the screen is good for a day or two. Dealer estimated $700 to replace the radio. -- Auto start-stop feature was working for 6 months only. I asked the dealer many times to fix it but he said that I need more drive to load the battery. I was driving for 4 to 6 hours non-stop and it did not help. The dealer would not do anything about it. -- Door locks never worked properly, One time the door will open and the next time I have to place my hand over the door many times in order to automatically unlock the door. The dealer always had an excuse not to fix it, he was telling me that I need to wait longer each time for the door to open, total nonsense. If one time the door would open in 1 second why the next time I have to wait 5 seconds. - When I press the button to move the sode window to go up, the window goes down. I have to play for a while in order to close the window. -- Car key battery low after 1 year. -- Garage door opener not sending signal from a distance, you have to be by the garage door.
