My 1st GM vehicle in 30 years

Vehicle2011 Chevrolet Volt 4dr Hatchback (gas/electric hybrid DD)
ReviewHaving the ability to drive using NO gasoline for >95% of my driving is a wonderful feeling.
Not having to worry about how far I might have to drive or whether I'll get stuck in traffic allowed me to consider this as my only car.
Having reduced worries when the price of gas goes up or gets rationed is a great stress reliever.
Knowing that I'm doing the best I can to support the US economy while also addressing environmental concerns just feels good.
I thought I'd have to compromise more to be able to drive this type of vehicle.
Best Features-Rare visits to gas station - I drive 50 miles daily and don't use any gas except for occasional long drives. -Instant torque -Variable and automatic seat heaters -Great Bose sound system -Good handling due to its low center of gravity -Key that folds into Fob -Very quiet and comfortable ride -Large hard drive for storing music -OnStar - nice insurance for crash or vehicle theft
Worst Features-Needs proximity sensor to automatically lock/unlock doors -Engine could be quieter when operating at high rpms -Smaller window pillars -Textured center stack to reduce finger prints -More head clearance for getting in and out of car -Electric cord with retractable reel built into car -Proximity radar cruise control w/Anti-collision -Blind spot monitoring -60-80 EV range option -HD radio option -More traditional hatchback to allow greater rear storage -HCCI or diesel engine as generator -Ventilated seats -More power -More head and knee room in rear seat area -Electric seats with memory -All wheel drive
