Would definitely not buy this car again. Brought it new in 2016. On December 28 2018 the car down shifted hard on the Interstate then I heard a pop and then a bunch of smoke. Pulled over to the side of the interstate while it was constantly wanting to shift gears. So got it towed to the dealer ship. They said the turbo went out so they replaced didn’t work so they replaced a piston on it still didn’t work so now they gotta replace all the pistons. They had my car for a month now. And what’s bad is we ran out of warranty 7000 miles ago.

Bought the car used with approximately 76,000 miles on it. Within "days" we started having issues. Thank God I bought the warranty because in the year we've had the car over $5,000 in repairs have been done. Turbocharger twice now, AC control panel, starter, etc. Maybe I got a lemon? The car gets good reviews overall, but.... my trusted mechanic whom I should have consulted with first tells me once they hit 100,000 the REAL trouble starts. Other than that, agreeably the car is fast and fun to drive when it's not in the shop :-(

Bargain basement model, with 6 speed manual transmission. Owned since new...the manual beats the auto on gas mileage. I use 0 w-30 mobil oil for oil changes. Put two quality speakers in the rear parcel deck. Lots of road noise so i play the music loud to compensate. I also installed cruise control which took 15 minutes (drive by wire install). All in all it has suited my needs of long distant trips...at 118,000 km i have only replaced the front rotors and pads and air filter.

My 2016 TRAX is the best! 26 to 27 MPG in the city using 87 octanes gasoline. Very peppy engine, fast and efficient. My Chevy was made in Korea.
