2018 CHEV HIGH COUNTRY DISAPPOINTMENT
This vehicle has given us nothing but headaches since purchasing end of Oct 2017! It began within a few days of purchase, the LED headlight assembly started flashing erratically, other cars began pulling over when I drove up behind them, I assume they were thinking that they were being pulled over by an unmarked police car. Into the dealership it went. Right after we got it back from the dealership(they replaced the headlight assemble) we noticed a strong jerk at various speeds and thought it was the transmission. We brought it back in and were told that the computer was dropping programs but they were positive the problem was fixed. It was not, it continued and seemed to get worse. Honestly it was embarrassing to have others ride with me in my vehicle, it was like a whip-lash jerk. Then the check engine light came on. Back to the dealership we went and were told they had to replace the entire emissions unit. They said the replacement was most likely the reason it was still jerking. They were wrong, it again jerked(feels like a major hard shift) at 32, 44, 56, 68 you name it, it jerked. We brought it back in and it sat another week at the dealership. They claimed the computer dropped programs again and it was fixed. It was not. Went back to the dealership and spoke to the dealer who sold it to us. He said he would take care of the concerns we had. 1,000 miles later(put on by the dealership to replicate the concern) We were told the vehicle was fixed and the problem was due to an electronical issue that was causing the torque converter to not work properly. We were also told that the dealership could do nothing for us as far as getting a buy back. We were told we had to contact Chevy to initiate a buy back. We did so... and if you think the problems above were frustrating enough, this process was much more painful. We have called numerous times and told 72 hours and someone will call you back. No one did. We had to have our dealership send a message through the dealership to get Chevy to call us back. We were told by Chevy that the district manager came to our dealership and looked at our vehicle. We stressed that we felt this was a major safe issue and did not feel comfortable transporting our young children in this vehicle. We also challenged back because we had the vehicle when said district manager visit occurred. The rep denied it did not occur. We contacted our dealership who confirmed said visit did not happen, the only contact they had was an email request for all the repair records. We then got a call from Chevy and he told us they would be buying back our vehicle BUT THEN SAID "oh sorry I have the wrong paperwork in front of me actually we will not be able to do anything for you". We were shocked. We asked why our families safety was not as important as the first families buy back letter he had mistakenly thought was ours. We asked to speak to his manager and were told no and they he made the buy back decisions and there was nothing that would change. We again demanded to speak to his manager. He then said she would call us Friday or Monday. She called us Tuesday and told us there was nothing they were willing to do. We called our dealership who were also very confused as to what criteria is needed to lemon out a vehicle especially since ours has been in the dealership with several safety concerns since purchase. Dealership said they would try to get some answers. So here we are waiting for answers and contimplating contacting an attorney. To top it off it continues to have electrical issues, now the carplay connection goes in and out when I have a phone call. It will start through the speakers then about a minute in change over to my cell and then back to speakers again if I am lucky. Dreading having to return to the dealership yet again to get a loaner while they try to troubleshoot the issue. We have owned several chevy's and sadly this most likely will be the last due to Chevy's lack of customer regard for safety and blatant disregard for a consumers time, money, efforts and dissatisfaction with a product. Update: over a year ago we had even more issues it started not going into park - was told it would be over a month before the part to fix would be in - we were done. Traded it in for a new Jeep and couldn’t be happier now.

Hope I don't regret purchase...
Purchased LT Traverse August 2017. Had Traverse back to dealer after owning literally a week and a half as the brake assist turned on when driving in town at 35 MPH and coming to a stop slowly. Additionally, received transmission error following day. Apparently connector issue, and was fixed. One week later brake assist came on again. Dealership indicated software update should resolve issue. Now Engine has been much louder when sitting idle, as it seems that the Stop/Start function is not working properly since software update. Other than these major issues, vehicle has more space than older model; better storage space in rear. This vehicle has more features that are electric powered, and hoping there are no major issues. I recommend the extended warranty, even if buying brand new. I'm regretting not purchasing now. ****Update 3/2018: Since purchase in August of '17, have had Traverse in four times to dealership for the Brake Assist Error Message. Had vehicle into dealership three times between August and October of '17. Went almost five months with no issues after they had fixed a wire with a sensor in October, however March of '18 Brake Assist Error kicked on again. I was at a speed of 18 mph and slowly came to a stop sign, and brake assist kicked on, and brake was pushed to the floor. You can actually hear the grinding of the brakes. This feature would be great in a situation where you are about to rear-end someone, however, I have been the one who would be rear-ended due to the feature kicking on at incorrect times. Brake assist issue continued for another 2 miles, as it had done in the past. Dealership was great and got Traverse in right away, and GM has apparently rebuilt a part as more Traverse owners have had this "Brake Assist" error message generate. Fingers crossed, otherwise I will be contacting GM as this is dangerous and could cause you to get rear-ended. I can only imagine at high speeds what would happen. Still not a fan of the transmission; shifts from first to second with a lag, and sometimes jolts the vehicle so you will fly forward in your sit a bit.

2018 shifting issue
Buyer beware. Any traverse that came off the line before april 18 2018 has a known shifting problem. GM says it doesnt exist but bulletin 18-NA-121 1st gear or reverse no upshift. Vehicle wont go above 40mph. Mine just came back from the shop. They are replacing the valve body spacer plate. Gm lied and said no issue but my dealer gave me a copy of the bulletin. So they had to tear into my brand new traverse to fix the trans. 8k miles.

Buyer's BEWARE!!!!
We recently leased a 2018 Chevy Traverse on 4/26/2018. On 4/28/2018, two days after purchase the car began flashing all services lights (All Wheel Drive, Steering Assist Service, Power Steering, Etc) My wife immediately pulls over the car and contacts the dealership service department letting them know what happened (6 months pregnant and with our 1 1/2 year old) They advised they could fit us in for a check of the vehicle 2 weeks later, and to continue driving it. She drives 3 houses further down the street and the engine begins to knock and shuts down and locks up. (Wish I could post the videos on here) Now the dealership advises they can send a tow truck to pick up the vehicle for us. They call 2 days later saying the computers just needed to be reset and everything was fine. We picked up the vehicle on 4/30/2018, and the next day the check engine light comes on again! Bring it back to the dealership that night, and they say they want to keep the traverse for a week to make sure everything was perfect. It is now 5/21/2018 and we still do not have the vehicle because when they think they fixed the problem the engine light keeps coming back on, and this morning they advised they are having a problem with the windshield wipers and they sometimes do not shut off. I have been back and forth with Chevy directly trying to get a new vehicle and set up a claim with them and have been advised there is nothing they can do and continue to communicate with the dealership to get it fixed! The worst service imaginable. The car has 90 MILES on it, we have owned it for 24 days and have only been able to drive it for a day and half.

Beautiful vehicle but Jury not quite in for me yet
Purchased my 2018 Traverse LT3 Model in Oct 2017 (traded a Ford Explorer). This is a beautiful looking vehicle, however I'm trying to work out a few "bugs". Three days after purchase the second row drivers side rear seat developed a vibration noise that drove me nuts. The Dealer actually removed the seat, found nothing wrong, reinstalled the seat, and that particular vibration stopped. Now, another vibration has developed- I can't figure out from where, but it's becoming louder and very distracting. I am now having an issue (with just over 3,000 miles on it) with loss of acceleration, which is frightening because both times this happened, I have been entering intersections, and lose power. We all know this vehicle shuts off most times when stopped (for fuel saving purposes), but the most recent episode caused me to lose acceleration while engine was running and trying to accelerate. Each time I hit the gas (five times), I lost acceleration, and the car only inched forward. I was able to roll to the side of the intersection, allowing traffic to pass. It stalled, I put the trans in park, and was able to start it, and was able to accelerate. Will be contacting Dealer right away in an attempt to resolve this very important issue. Moving on to climate control- it's nice and toasty from the dash and defrost, however, doesn't warm my feet very well, when mode is selected. The recirculate feature doesn't seem to work. The climate control still takes in outside fumes from trucks, etc, even while selected. The navigation feature has only recognized one request from me for street address properly- and, I speak very clearly- this is frustrating. I am forced to use Google maps on my cell phone, which transmits through the car speakers. Overall, you can't beat the cargo area, and the deep well under the cargo area allows for even more storage. The third row is nice as well. If I can work out the bugs, I will be a happy camper for now, but my Explorer had every option in it, except for cooking my dinner for me- so I do miss some of the goodies.

Had high hopes for this model, but disappointment
Overall, a good vehicle with comfortable interior and sound system, great driving manners...but with some glaring issues. One, the transmission is a clunky mess. At highway speed, it's ok, but around town it constantly downshifts, hunts for a gear when it should just hold the one it's in. Throttle tip-in from dead stop is initially ok, but then jumps ahead as tranny tries to decide what gear to use. GM needs a complete software reset on this new unit. Two, quality of some interior parts is substandard. For example, the latch on the front sunshade in the sunroof broke right away. The material is a cheap plastic that you would expect on a crap-box car from eastern Europe, but not on Traverse costing north of $51K! Three, the foot-activated rear lift hatch feature doesn't work most of the time, even when the little bowtie logo is displaying. Got the key fob in my pocket and it just doesn't respond most of the time. I fear that the amount of electronic gadgetry and features on this Premier model will be its undoing. Get the extended warranty for sure. UPDATE 3-15-18: The transmission clunkiness has been mostly resolved by an automatic update to the car's system back in December. Shifts more smoothly now and the AutoStop function is better. I'm getting a little tired of the all-black interior, but that's not a big deal. I've not had any further issues with the sunshade and handle it very carefully to make sure the latch doesn't fall apart. I do find the car is slow to warm up (heavy-duty cooling system?) and leaving the climate system on Auto doesn't really get the job done - have to manually set the air flow and fan speed to get comfortable. The seats are also very slow to heat up and the bolsters remain cold as ice. The heated steering wheel works well. I find the left foot rest way too far forward to be comfortable on longer rides. Needs to be about 2-3 inches further away. AND... amazingly, the so-called phone charging pad in the console doesn't work with Apple iPhone 10s, in my case). How lame is GM engineering staff to have flummoxed that one? Downgrading my Technology star rating because of this, plus overall Value rating. UPDATE 3-15-19: I've never been impressed with the 9-spd tranny. Shifting is lumpy or jerky most of the time. So... Thanksgiving 2018 weekend driving back to chicago from St. Louis in rain/snow storm (high winds to boot). Had speed control on 70 mph. About Bloomington IL on I-55, the car abruptly slows. The engine is racing upward toward redline. I disable spd control and continue to slow down. I try to give it gas, but nothing is happening. I pull over, turn off and on, put in gear and it goes forward. But about 50 mph, it falls out of gear again. I feather the loud pedal and it will maintain gear engagement but not exceeding 1500 rpm. This is getting serious as I'm in the middle of nowhere, bad storm happening and it's a Sunday on a holiday weekend. Bottom line is finally made it to a turnoff with a truck stop and dive motel. Got hold of OnStar and they were basically not real helpful. Then called AAA and they were more, and would tow car 100 mile. OnStar will tow only 15 miles. Doesn't matter as its a Sunday. I check into motel, have OnStar tow vehicle next morning to Barker Chevy near Bloomington. They put their tranny guy on it right way, and after about an hour, I get the news. Tranny is toast. Gears 6-7-8-9 are all ripped up, 3-4 also failing. My Traverse had exactly 9300 miles on it, and it failed during a dangerous storm. The dealer took me to rental car place, got one and then went back to chicago. Nearly 2 weeks later, dealer says car is fixed. So I have to make another 150 mile trip downstate, return rental, get the Traverse and do another 150 mile trip home. GM reimbursed me for rental and part of hotel bill, but still shorted me. This is the last GM product I will ever own. I broke my own rule and bought this new Traverse model in its 1st year of manufacture, and paid dearly for it. Never again, GM. UPDATE 9-18-2019: Put 4000 miles on the Traverse since November 2018 transmission disaster. Tranny continues to function, but is still clunky as the day I bought it. Would I buy this vehicle again? No, not even for $10K less than originally paid. UPDATE 3-19-2020: Car just turned 17K and has been without any issues until yesterday. Car had not been run for about 4 days in the garage. Hit the start button the engine immediately ran rough, vibrated the car some. Then all the warning lights came on. The screens started appearing about traction control system off, plus similar warning messages for other systems like the antilock braking. So... turned the engine off, sat for about 2 minutes and restarted. This time engine ran smoothly, but engine light was still on. And then it disappeared. It's not easy owning such a vehicle like this Traverse. Or any GM vehicle for that matter. My warranty runs out based on time in August, so considering options. Update 3-20-2022: Car now has 28K miles. Pretty low mileage for 4.5 year old vehicle but I just don't drive much. Transmission is still in one piece, tho' sometimes wants to stick in a low gear requiring me to pull over, turn it off and wait for a minute, then restart. Can't believe a multi-billion dollar corp can't engineer and make a reliable trans. Most everything else on the car is still functional with no further issues. Sunshade mechanism works ok, but the cheap plastic still frosts me. Will run out of my powertrain warranty in a few months and then I'm on my own. Don't want to get another vehicle (especially now with sky-high prices), but prudence might force me to do so. Given my age and such, next vehicle will be an electric if I can find one that gets at least 400 miles to a charge. And it won't be a GM vehicle. Update 9-22-2022: Just turned 31000 miles and now beyond the time warranty period so proceeding with fingers crossed. No other issues have occured other than transmission gets locked into a low gear (like 2nd or 3rd) and won't shift up. Going down road at 40 mph at just over 4000 rpm is a bit concerning. Abruptly letting up on the gas finally causing tranny to get "normal". This transmission is a piece of GM engineering using public school graduates who go on to college to attain participation trophies in whatever engineering degree program available. Probably time to let this Traverse go.

Can't believe I chose a Chevy!
Wife and I went to the dealership as part of due diligence to "rule out" the Traverse because it was in our price range as an available 3-Row vehicle for the family. Immediately upon beginning the test-drive, it was clear this was a game changing vehicle. Astonished, my wife and I left the dealership to go re-drive a couple SUVs we had previously considered. There was no doubt the redesigned 2018 Traverse was going to be our next vehicle. Smooth ride, unbelievably smooth transmission (smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy?) told a story of being a luxury vehicle - Even the interior materials seemed beyond the price tag of this vehicle. Fit and finish of all internal mechanisms just seemed premium. We were blown away. At the end of the day, we figured the LT Cloth version with the Driver Comfort and Convenience Package offered the best value among the various trims and we took him home. I might have opted for a vehicle with leather but as this is to be my wife's daily driver, she did not care either way. We are an average family without any buyer's remorse or regrets on this vehicle purchase. Hope this review helps others out there considering the many offerings in this price range and class.

Real SUV
First 2018 Traverse the dealer sold. I wanted AWD and trailer pkg and they had one, most dealers didn't. I had good highway mileage, 27 mpg, and used it off road on gravel and stone roads in the hills of WV with no issues. I've just had it a month but am very pleased with the new Traverse so far. Even had 6 adults in it and no one complained. I've had it now 7 months and am still totally happy with the 2018 Traverse. The only issue I have had is the door lock buttons not working several times when rain turned to freezing rain and I had to dig the fob it of my pocket. Highly recommend the 2018 Traverse.

2018 Traverse is perfect size
First of all I needed to special order the 2018 to get the LT Leather trim level. This has the navigation and a 2nd row bench seat that I wanted and does not have the 2nd row captains chairs and sunroof, neither of which I wanted. Dealers are only buying the base level trim packages or the very highest price Premier ones and often ordering the SUV with a premium paint color which can add another $1000 to the cost of the vehicle. Handling is excellent and it rides like a car and not a truck - smoother than the Chevy Tahoe it replaced. The 2018 Traverse has more rear cargo space than the 2018 Tahoe or 2018 Suburban with their 3rd row seat and odd interior design. SUV's have become vans more than utility vehicles and so the Subaru with two rows has more cargo space than a full size SUV like the Suburban. Excellent visibility all the way around and the driver is not dependent on the side mirrors or video as with other SUV's. Rear camera display is exceptional and not only shows lines to indicate the path of the vehicle, it curves the lines when backing up and turning as when backing out of a parking space. Gas mileage on regular gas (not ethanol which kills fuel economy) is averaging 21 MPG with mixed driving. Acceleration is great when getting onto a freeway or when passing and the shifting is so smooth as to not be detectable. Feedback from the steering wheel is not as good as that of standard power steering with instead the electronic assist but it is much better than that of other SUV's I test drove, including the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. It took 7 weeks to order and receive the LT Leather but it was well worth the wait.

2018 New Traverse, Wont Start!!!!!!!! towed 5x's
I purchased a new 2018 Chevy Traverse on Oct. 12th, drove it fine until January 7th when car would not start the first time. Since then I have had 4 loaner cars and the car has had the same issue 4 more times. The vehicle has been towed into the dealership 3 times and driven in twice. GM has revceived a lemon law letter and has completed their last repair attempt. two days after I was assured the problem was fixed the car would not start and was towed back to the dealer. If I do not get a buy back I will sue this company. I asked for a copy of all receipts and one was from when the car was inventory and stated " car wouldn't start" meaning the dealership knew about this problem and sold it to me anyway. I am beyond disheartened.

Where have you been my whole life?
Almost 20K miles on a 7/17 early production '18 Traverse and the only repair other than oil and filter changes was the replacement of the shifter wiring harness under a TSB ffr the early production units.. Still runs nice and tight, rattle free and trouble free. My family's 35th GM product in the past 50 years and the best of the bunch.

New car dead on roac
646 miles on the odometer and transmission failed. My 15 year old Tahoe made it 256000 without a transmission failure. It’s hard to accept waiting on the side of the road with a car that doesn’t even have plates on it yet.

Transmission Failure, Stranded Family = Unhappy!
Transmission failed at 10k miles, leaving family stranded in 95 degree heat. Chevy roadside assistance, Onstar, Local dealers, nobody came to get us (we were in a very rural area after 6pm on a Saturday and no rental car places were open, no Uber, no internet- just voice cell service). Chevy wanted to tow to small local dealership- we had to pay to get it towed to our dealership. Had to call friends to get us. Repairs took 2 weeks, plate replacement and software re-load to fix. One month later (while trying to get to a wedding), transmission will not engage when shifting into drive while engine hot. Will have to go back into shop. This year model does not have the bugs worked out- the 9 speed transmission is not reliable. We begged Chevrolet to give us relief and buy back the vehicle. We were denied. Please save yourself and your family. Avoid this car at all costs. We love the look and features of the car (why we bought it).. Thankfully my family is ok- but this could have very easily ended very badly. It is not worth the risk to your family- especially since Chevrolet will not take ownership of this defect.

Bought brand new - no power steering after 3K
I bought the all black redline version (premier) off the showroom floor in Nov, I have 3K miles on the truck. Went to grab lunch at work, sitting at red light when a warning light pops up - power steering failure. Instantly it was like trying to turn a tractor stuck in the mud without hydraulics. I muscled the truck back to a parking spot and figured it was only two turns (10 miles) to get to the dealership. That was 12 days ago, dealership had to order a power-steering module (which of course they didn't stock and nor did any parts store) not blaming the dealership as this is a 2018 vehicle and GM probably hasn't sent out any yet. They now have the module, but also need special (one time) use bolts to re-install the module which will not come for a few more days. This should not happen on a 2018 vehicle with only 3K miles on it! That aside, I like the how the truck handles, the features, and the room inside. I am not sold on the 9 speed transmission as it seems to search for gears at times during city driving and isn't always smooth as it makes up it's mind. I do really like the looks and ride, it is quiet and fantastic driving on snow and ice. I really needed it when driving to Iowa in late Dec right after a large snow storm. Other vehicles were really struggling in the bad conditions, I was not and it gave me a lot of confidence when driving, never felt like I was slipping or not in control even though I was going much faster than others in the same conditions. Time will tell whether this problem was a one off or something to keep an eye on, I have read another report of a steering problem so this could be just the beginning.

Updated Review after owning.
After owning it for a few years it’s the biggest piece of crap I’ve owned. I’m done with Chevy. Constant repairs: new ECU, new axles, exhaust broke in half, doors rattled, console rattled, infotainment went out, drivers seat broke. All of this in 2 years of ownership.

Don't be fooled by dependability ads
Purchased this car 08/04/2018 from Roundtree Moore Chevrolet in Lake City Florida. On 08/06/2018 front passenger seat stopped working Was on way to Atlanta stopped and they fixed it. On 08/16/2018 was on way to Atlanta and before I left at 6:30 am the right front head light would not work. Stopped at Roundtree on way and spent 3 hours trying to get it fixed and couldn't. Questioned sales rep about getting another ca for this one and they didn't want anything to do with it. Left to my destination and on the way home on 08/18/2018 the drivers seat stopped working. Got home to Valrico Florida and took the car to the dealer in by my home and they had the car from 08/20/2018 to 08/24/2018. After an entire week in the shop they called at 4:15 pm to let me know the vehicle was fixed. I have called GM and talked to lemon law lawyers. GM said since it was fixed they have no obligation for buy back and blamed it on the dealer. It appears the only way this will end is once again with legal action as GM will not do what is right. I have been a long time GM owner 50 years worth but it appears that this will be the last. Three electrical problems within two weeks to me is a serious problem. I guess that a fire while driving will be the only wake up call for GM. Hopefully my Grandchildren will not be in the car if that happens. Thanks GM for stiffing me with a potential LEMON, warranty or no warranty. Your first rate action and concern will be remembered when I get rid of this one. Your offer of $250 for accessories purchase was nothing short of pitiful

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MY 2018 CHEVY TRAVERSE 3LT
The interior materials are EXTREMELY fragile, they mark very easily with the slightest touch. The entire entire is covered with this weak, cheap molded plastic. I purchased this 3 months ago for pleasure use. No kids, No off roading or abuse etc. I have taken a few short in state road trips. The exterior design is sleek and in my opinion beautiful. The performance is less impressive. After using the vehicle for 3 weeks I noticed the fuel economy was less then impressive, it was poor, and worsening each day...Literally. When I test drove the car, the dash info stated 525 miles to empty ( on a full tank) EPA estimates are 17/22/25 MPG. After 2 weeks of use upon filling the vehicle up with gas it would state 255 Miles to empty...less then half of what it should be getting. After using the vehicle for a month and a half I decided to call the dealer where I purchased it vehicle and speak with the service dept. I brought the vehicle in to get serviced in order to fix the excessive fuel consumption. After a few days the vehicle was returned to me (very dirty with grease marks on interior ceiling from mechanic) and I was advised that " Chevy had but out a bulletin that their was a software update that needed in order to fix the issue" So although it started getting better MPG after the update then when I brought it for service, It still is not near what it was when I test drove it. I was getting 8, yes EIGHT miles per gallon prior to the software update. The dealer did not offer me any reimbursement for the excessive fuel consumption and having to fill up every few days. Needless to say, after this issue, my impression of the vehicle has severely diminished. The quality of interior panels with essentially covers the entire vehicle is a very poor quality which marks permanantly, very easily, So if you plan to lease this vehicle and have kids or plan to use it for tool storage or home improvement projects, I would look into another vehicle. Just as an FYI its a 2018 Traverse AWD 3LT $46k leasing for $450 month, 0 down, 10K miles year for 36months. Great leg room front and 2nd row captains seats. Ok Bose stereo, Ok technology, Good handing except on highway exit ramps, fast long turns vehicle slides. The 3.6l has good power so far, just for myself, but have yet to have rear passengers or weighted rear cargo. Trans shifts very smooth, acceleration is good, heat and AC is Great, several USB ports thru all 3 rows, 4wd wasnt impressive in the snow, at all....Overall, Poor quality for the high price.

From Tahoe to Traverse
We have owned two of the current generations of the Chevrolet Tahoe. While we were happy with the Tahoe, we saw major design improvements in the 2018 Traverse and opted to give one a try. We purchased a Premier AWD model and after a couple of months and 3000 miles we are extremely impressed and happy with our choice. We have more interior room than we did in the Tahoe and the ease of getting into and out of the vehicle is far superior. It also handles far more securely with it's lower center of gravity and being a crossover, feels and handles much more precisely than the Tahoe. And it has an useable third row seat, which the Tahoe certainly did not. There are a few luxury details that are not even available on the Traverse that you get with the Premier edition of the Tahoe, but for roughly $20000 less money, you get a perfectly balanced and usable vehicle that is a blast to drive, easy to park and easy on the eyes. We are delighted with our trade for this new Traverse. Try one out, compare it. We did, to Explorers, Highlanders, Enclaves, Acadia and others. We chose the Traverse. Update October 2018: We now have 10500 miles on our Traverse. We continue to be very pleased with the vehicle. There are some luxury touches like ambient lighting, lighting under the dash and seat, etc, that make this feel like an "entry level" vehicle. Only complaint I have is the drivers door and the rear passengers door have both developed "squeaks" that irritate us. No matter what we have tried, the squeaks remain. Overall....a great, comfortable, usable SUV. I would not go back to a Tahoe. Update October 2019: We have owned our Traverse Premier now for about 20 months and have driven it around 24000 miles. We have had a perfect experience with this vehicle. And the "door squeaks" I reported last time, have been resolved by our very attentive dealer, Jerry Remus Chevrolet. We have driven it from coast to coast on two major trips and have found it comfortable and accommodating. It's a practical size that is just as usable in city traffic as it is on long highway trips. We've really not had one single problem with the vehicle in these 24000 miles. It is a well designed vehicle all around. Our only wish is that it had a few more luxury touches like some ambient lighting, especially in the rear. We also own a new 2019 Ram Longhorn Crew as well. If you want to know what a well designed and thoughtful interior looks like, look no further than that or a new Mercedes S-Class. We've not found anything to replace our Traverse that offers you this much vehicle and comfort at such a reasonable price. We are very pleased with our Traverse. Update October 28,2020 We now have over 32000 miles on our Traverse and it remains a delightful and pleasing vehicle. It's been several years since we have enjoyed and kept a vehicle as long as we have this Traverse. It's been 100% trouble free. We have it regularly serviced at our Chevrolet dealer. We use it primarily for road trips as it is comfortable for all day drives. We couldn't be much happier than we are. No plans to trade it.

This is why people buy a japanese car
Great size and looks, positives stop there. Rear abd side view mirrors too small for car this size. Simple thin piece of plastic that covers sunroof flaps and makes horrible noise if window is open and going over 55. Car needs more power and speedometer and tachometer are too small and place off to the extreme sides of dashboard. But let me get to the real problems: Paid 55K for a car that is 6 months old with less than 2500 miles and has been to the dealership twice because car refused to start. First time car eventually started but would not shift correctly, told it was transmission cable second time car wouldn't start again and steering assist warning on dashboard. But real problem is dealership, need to argue with them about bringing car in and getting a loner not when car is 6 months old and paid 55k. Like wife said "this is why people buy a Japanese car". My first car was a Chevy and it took thirty years for me to buy a second, well this will be my second and last GM in a while. Wanted to buy American, but remember now why I usually buy foreign. GM you have lost a customer that tried to give you a second chance.

WOW - what a difference 2103 vs. 2018 Traverse
We spent a couple months looking at all the 7 passenger options. (We had a 2013 Traverse - but had several concerns). The 2018 fixed them all and then added more capabilities and features. We knew you can get a great deal on a 2017 but waited for the 2018. Glad we did. In the end we decided on the Premier, but the dealer parked the Premier and High Country in the Iridescent White Paint option next to each other. For the small ($51k vs. $54k) price difference we went with the HIgh Country. I love the additional safety feature like adaptive cruise, etc. We also liked the interior color combination, polished aluminum wheels, twin rear axle clutch, power third row, and exterior trim. In our opinion, since we were spending that much money, and plan on keeping it a few years - why not. The dealer also closed the gap by providing a larger discount. Update: still great. Mileage has exceeds expectations. Love the adaptive cruise and lane assist. Lights are superior. To any previous Chevy.

Transmission is a huge weak spot
After 5 years and 65,000 miles of owning this car I'm still satisfied with it. Its a great highway cruiser and holds a lot of cargo. I think it would be a 5-star great car if not for the transmission, which has had two problems from new. First, sometimes during moderate acceleration the transmission shudders. It feels like you suddenly are on a washboard road and you instinctively lift off the throttle to slow down, at which point its smooth again. This has occurred since almost new and has been addressed at the dealer with reprogramming, which caused HVAC control problems and more reprogramming. The problem remains but just not as severe as it once was. The other problem with the transmission is a safety issue. If you stop the car even slightly downhill and shift into reverse, the car will roll forward several feet after releasing the brake. You need to give it several seconds to figure out that you want to go in reverse and build torque before releasing the brake. Otherwise its quite surprising while you frantically jam the gas pedal or stab the brake again and build revs to get the transmission to produce torque and begin backing up. Quite alarming and dangerous. Totally normal and expected according to the dealer. I don't let anyone else except my wife drive it, as she knows the procedure. Also, the HVAC system is the worst I've seen on a car since the 1964 Volkswagen I drove. It does not like to defrost/defog, but I won't bring it in to a dealer because chances are they will re-program it again and something else won't work.

My 2018 Traverse was a lemon!
I bought a 2018 Traverse LT and on day 3 of ownership with 253 miles, I was stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck to take it back to the dealership. The transmission was defective and I could not get the car in gear. After many attempts to repair it, I finally used the NYS Lemon Law and Chevrolet replaced my lemon with a new 2019 Traverse. Aside from the model year, the cars are identical. I have about 5000 miles on the new one and I've been experience issues with it already. Sometimes, the steering wheel mounted radio controls don't work but more importantly, the car feels like it is going to stall at low speeds. The car starts shaking before it shifts gears. It seems to be ok in higher gears. I will never buy another Chevy again. Lesson learned.

No help with our 2018 Traverse
I am saddened by our 2018 traverse purchase. We leased a 2014 Chevy traversed and LOVED it, then I got my 2018. My car is beautiful but has serious electrical problems. I have taken it to the dealer 4 times (with extended stays) for problems that have occurred since 8,000 mile make. Even though I have showed (with video) problems with my gas gauge, and multiple electric issues, Chevy has still been unable to resolve to take care of any of my concerns. For this being a new car, this is all ridiculous. My scariest concern is.... when you come to a stop, this car turns off (that’s fine). On 3 different occasions once I have taken my foot off the brake (and my car restarts) I go to turn right on a red light and as I pull out into traffic. My car like stalls for a couple of seconds. Almost like my car is in neutral and thinking about what to do. Once it does decide to go, it jumps almost like I floored it. Chevy will not fix my problem because the say that they cannot duplicate the problems at the time it’s in. I have proved all but 1 problem with video and they still don’t know what to do. They’ve basically told me, I’m out of luck

Chevy Doesn't Care About You
RESEARCH THIS CAR BEFORE YOU BUY!!!! There is a known timing system issue with this car that Chevy has posted some service bulletins about, but failed to do a recall because it costs them money to repair and no one has died because of it. The system can fail at anytime, and will fail completely with a minor front end impact. DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER CAR FROM CHEVY. When the system fails, they blame someone else and won't with the customer on a case by case basis. Buyer beware.

Hi Tech Hauler
Traded a really good Ford Escape for the Traverse because my wife wanted more seats and cargo room. Test drove many 7 passenger SUVS but the Traverse had the best combo of room and features. Immediately took it on an extensive road trip out west and it performed like a champ. Update; on a subsequent trip through transmission started roaring in 8th gear on downshift going uphill. Pulled into a Chevy dealer on a Saturday. Left the car there and rented a Ford Expedition for a week. Dealer could not duplicate. Picked it up on the way back and no noise since. Asked GM to reimburse for rental and authorize dealer to do detailed inspection of transmission. No response....

2018 Traverse is Junk
I purchased a 2018 Traverse/Redline on 6 Feb 2018, drove it less than 100 miles, and the transmission stopped working two (2) days later. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer. The service section advised they don't have the equipment needed to diagnose the problem, and that the equipment is expected sometime next week. Today, 20 Feb 2018, still awaiting equipment. I told the dealership mgr that I don’t want that vehicle back. The mgr said that his hands are tied and I would have to deal with GM. Contacted GM on 9 Feb, and completed an application for what I was let to believe was a “buy back” of my vehicle. The GM rep informed me that someone would contact me within two days. Needless to say, it didn’t happen. I called GM back on 13 Feb, spoke with another rep who had no clue as to why I was calling. This rep asked for 72 hours, and would get back to me. On 20 Feb, I rcvd a call from the GM rep who stated that GM can only do a buy back after 3 or more problems with the vehicle. Bottom line is that I bought a 46,000 dollar piece of junk, and of course, no one wants it back. BUYER BEWARE ! Update: 2/21/19 - My view has not changed whatsoever. I will never buy another GM vehicle. I do not drive this vehicle much. One reason is that I still think it is unsafe and the second reason is that I'm keeping the mileage down so as to trade when I can afford it. The dealership in Woodbridge VA kept the vehicle for 29 days, knowing full well that if they kept it 30 or more days, it would be classified as a lemon. During this time they had the vehicle, the SOBs would NOT give me a loaner vehicle. And I still had to make my payment(s) on time. Worst buying experience EVER.

First Chevy and Whole Family is Impressed
Short version: My Wife, Kids and I agree, The 2018 Traverse s a very very nice car and we like Cajun Red. Long version: After looking for three years to replace a 2004 Explorer we landed on a 2018 Chevy Traverse. I first considered the new Traverse after a friend stated he that might be his next vehicle (he owns an old Traverse he swears by) because he heard it can fit a sheet of plywood in the back. While the interior of our new Traverse is too nice to think of shoving a jagged piece of plywood anywhere in it, the possibility of getting a vehicle with more room than less was appealing to me. With 2 kids and 2 dogs and weekend trips to the lake, where everything needs to be hauled, I shopped for optimum cargo space first. Then I noticed how nice they looked inside and out and there were more and more reasons to want the Traverse. The Traverse has great room in both front seats and the middle two captain chairs for the 6'2, 260 lbs person that I am. The drivers seat adjustments are fine and the seat is real comfortable. The ergonomics of the steering wheel tilt and telescopic adjustment and the steering wheel controls are fine. My only complaint is that I naturally want to put my left elbow at a position that neither the window ledge or armrest are comfortable. A small pillow for longer trips will solve that easily, however, the window sill as my standard choice and is a bit high and has no padding. I'll get used to that. I am so comfortable otherwise, it doesn't matter. The kids love the rear captain seats which do recline. They claim the third seat is nice too but, they may only be reporting about the drink holders and the USB ports everywhere. My short ride in the middle seat impressed me. I thought I could easily choose to ride in them for a long trip instead of being at the top of the pecking order and choosing to be the driver. The "infotainment" system is awesome. While I wouldn't admit to making a $40,000 buying choice because of a radio, the technogeek in me secretly says ohh yaa. My only complaint is the menu on computer screen in the instrument cluster poorly highlights the item to be selected. To identify the item selected I have to guess or arrow up or down a couple times to see the weak highlight change from item to item. Not a big deal unless I start using it to select the music form my iphone library as I drive. That might be too awkward, if still real cool to be able to do. While the polished ebony looking trim and the nice looking touch screen are elegant and appealing to look at, I wonder how if they are going to get scratched up and not look so nice. The shiny black plastic especially. The hideaway cubby behind the touchsreen is likely to not be used much. We'll see. It did not give me the wow it likely intended. The same is true for the rear camera in the rear view mirror. It works and looks nice when you are stopped and wanting to look behind. It is impossible to use while driving unless your take time to adjust your vision. It is not the same as looking in the mirror. Having said that, with a back end full of gear, the mirror will not be an option and I'm sure I will appreciate the ability to view the trailer or close following cars. Our Traverse is equipped with blind side detection rear parking alarm and the birds eye camera view with front and rear cameras. We are continually groing in our understanding the benefit of all these features and have somewhat changed our spartan viewpoint to thinking these are not wow gimmicks like the rear view mirror camera might be. They will become our next 'can't own a car without' items like cruise control and intermittent wipers once were (air conditioning and power windows were once those too for us who used to drive 60's cars and not 'cause they were classics) The heating and cooling controls are nice with tri-zone control. We are expecting the heated seats to be nice with winter coming. I've tried them. They're hot. All are easy to control separately from from the infotainment system. On Star and the 4G WiFi works good along with Sirius XM. The kids dream of streaming movies without getting beat up about their data useage, I'm sure. I don't know what to think about it. It seems expensive to continue. Will we be hooked? I am already liking starting the car from my office using the My Chevrolet app. Everyone's got dozen ways to get their hook in pocket, I guess. I'm not an engine and transmission geek so I can comment on feel only. The acceleration seems good, even 'peppy'. The transmission is smooth up and down. I heard other reviews of jerky downshifting or a hunting behavior. I can't sense any shifting motion or noise. The cab is as quiet as I have experienced too. The stop light start/stop will take getting used to. Seems to work well. In conclusion, from one who bought 3 new Fords and run them into the ground, my review is the 2018 Traverse most excellent.

Poor quality
Owned for 2 weeks and noticed I have a roof rack rail that has bad finish as well a a spot on interior door panel that has a spot where color is off. Contact dealer and was told it would not warranty. Called gm and was told the same. There also a spot on dash than looks concerning, as well as two drip spots on exterior pain. GM does not stand by warranty or quality of their products. If you purchase one do a very close inspection of entire car to find blemishes because they won't fix once you take it home.

All things to all people
It's difficult for a vehicle to be as flexible as the new Traverse. We purchased this SUV for a cross country trip we plan to take this summer. After years of buying mid level trims we decided we wanted a premium trim for our trip so we opted for the 'High Country'. Traded in a 2015 Rogue that we were very happy with except it was just too small. It is safe to say that is a problem we will not have with the Traverse. I could easily bring home several sheets of plywood from the hardware store if I wanted to though I am not inclined to do so as the interior of the High Country is very upscale. To be fair, we only have about 300 miles on it, but my initial feeling is that we scored a home run with this one. It is the most comfortable and quiet car I've ever driven and we are still discovering new features like the rear view mirror that, with the flip of a switch, turns into a TV view of everything that's behind you. Our Rogue had lane change warning and blind spot notification but this has so much more. I actually feel like I have a co-pilot constantly checking things out for me and letting me know what needs attention. This is a Chevy but I feel like I'm driving a true luxury vehicle. Could have sprung for the Buick as it is the sister vehicle to the Traverse. Both great vehicles but I actually like the classic lines of the Traverse better and the High Country trim pretty much rivals what the Buick has to offer. Will update my review once we have some actual mileage to speak of as we begin to travel cross country. UPDATE: After more then 10,000 miles I have still had ZERO problems with the 2018 Traverse. ZERO! Still feel the joy every time I get behind the wheel and my wife has become an even bigger fan then she was when we 1st purchased it. Apple Car Play, A camera hidden in the rear view mirror and the hands free opening of the lift gate are just a few of the simple things that make our lives easier. Simply put, this is the best vehicle I've ever owned and I'm 73. Plan on keeping for quite a while. Update - One year later and I’m still learning the speech technology I can use with my USB’s. It’s a lot of fun. I’ve only had one issue in the 13,000 miles I’ve driven the car. The sunroof shade was cheaply made and the fastener that holds it closed broke. So now I can’t close the shade. The roof itself is fine. But I can’t close the shade. Looked at it and all the parts are proprietary so I’m going to ask them to fix it when I take it for the next oil change. 2/25/22 - Finally had roof shade repaired by Chevy (about $80.00). Clearly the roof shade was an afterthought for this year and model. Only additional problem I have at this juncture is an internal switch that sometimes does not activate when I put the car in park. So when I turn the car off it beeps and tells me to put it in park when it is already in park. When this happens I need to restart the car take it out of park and put it back into park multiple times until the switch works. I need to get that corrected before the switch goes bad completely. As an old Geezer who lived through AM radio, 8 tracks, cassettes and CD's I'm still loving the ability to use "Hey Seri" and "Elexa" and enjoying my Traverse. Update - Here it is 2025 and I could not be happier with my 2018 Traverse. No problems. It’s just that simple.

YOU'VE COME A LONG WAY, BABY!
I drove this car several times before deciding to lease it. Previous car was a 2004 Toyota Highlander with 149,000 miles. It fit like an old pair of shoes. Rode great and still got 23 miles to a gallon on the highway. I have had the Traverse for just about 1 month and have driven1200 miles...great size, easy to drive, and so far a pleasant surprise. Mileage in general driving is in the 21mpg range. I have taken 2 highway trips and the mileage for the first was 28 at 72mph. The second was 25.7 at 76 -78 mph. Wish I could give more info, but only so much you can learn in 1200miles. Chevy has stepped up their game!

Long time Acadia owner buys 2018 Traverse
5-20-18 UPDATE Have been driving my Traverse for almost eight months now and am very happy with the vehicle. I am very happy with the overall gas mileage of 22.1 mpg. achieved during the first 17,500 miles. On a recent trip, I drove 1,800 miles and recorded 25.4 mpg. Given such good gas mileage, I have been even more impressed with the power and "get up and go" when passing. So far, nothing but happy with my decision to purchase the 2018 Chevy Traverse! I bought the first year model (2007) of the Acadia and enjoyed it so well that I bought the Acadia upgrade in 2013. However, when the new Acadia upgrade came out in 2017, I was quite disappointed to see that they shrunk the size and rounded the body making it look less like an SUV. That being said, I was about to buy my third Acadia when I saw an article on the new 2018 Traverse. I was never a fan of the previous Traverse model but was very impressed with what I saw. The look was more to my liking and I was glad to see that instead of following the Acadia path, Chevy decided to increase the Traverse's size. The cargo space in this vehicle is incredible! More room than my previous Acadia and more room than my friends Tahoe. I have only had the vehicle for 6 weeks but have driven 2,600 with no complaints. The 9 speed transmission runs very smooth, the road noise is minimal, the seats are comfortable and there's leg room to spare for all passengers. I purchased the Premier "Red Line" edition and think this is one of the most attractive SUVs I have seen in years. Lastly, I have been very happy with the fuel economy of this new model with an overall mpg of 21.7

Great Choice
We traded in our 2014 Toyota Hilander for the 2018 Chevy Traverse. Best trade ever!!. The traverse has much more room than the Hilander. Comfort is superior as well as the room for passengers and cargo. Great for vacations. No complaints very pleased with the Traverse. Vehicle engine has much power. Many hi tech features. I would highly recommend this vehicle.

Stalls when in auto stop/start
My car has been back to the dealer multiple times in the 1 year I have owned it. It’s been in there twice for going into auto stop and not restarting. First time there was a bulletin and they replaced a wire. They told me they couldn’t get it to reenact what I told them but they would change it anyways because there was a bulletin. A couple weeks later I had a problem with the shifter I would shift in the park try to turn off the car it would not shut down .. it would display- shift to park. About a month later the car stalled again when it went into the auto stop feature when I was at a stop sign and would not restart. I brought it back to the dealer they told me they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and I can bring it home and see if it happens again. It is scary because it happened multiple times and in intersections and I’m afraid to get an accident. Biggest lemon I have bought.
Mexican Transmission and Engine are junk.
Unlike the previous Lamboda body style vehicles GM built, this one has much of it's drivetrain, if not all, built in Mexico. Had I known this before signing I would have changed my mind. I liked the roomy 2nd and 3rd row, and towing capacity. The tech attracted me too and that was a let down. If a tech company made an entertainment system this flawed they would go out of business. Skips, glitches, freezes every day we drive it. The transmission has been drained and "reprogrammed", the drive selector now lags as I shift to drive. Shift, wait, jerk, and go! The sunshade clip exploded because of a design flaw compared to old style sun shade. I've had all the typical Brake assist, park assist warning prompts appear. The weather stripping has been replaced due to annoying creaking noise and will be again because it is starting again. It feels like I'm driving a prototype that I paid a lot of money for. There have been other issues and I know there will be more. Chevy has let me down. I had an executive complaint end with an offer for free XM Radio for a few months. No thanks. SKIP THE NEW TRAVERSE

2018 Chevy Traverse 9 speed tyranny sucks
Bought the 2018 Traverse has 3200 miles and the transmission constantly sticks in park. Chevy has had it twice for 10 days and can't find a problem. So for the second time I have to go pick it up. They tell me if it happens again to leave the car running and call them. They'll send out a technician. So I'll be sitting somewhere for hours waiting. What a CROCK. Never heard of such a thing. We bought Chevy because we wanted to support American Made however looks like we made a huge mistake. We are completely disgusted with type of customer service. BUYER BEWARE

So long Acadia, Hello Traverse
I have been nothing but impressed with my new 2018 Chevy Traverse. Over the past 9 years, I have owned two GMC Acadia's and was about to purchase my third when I saw the specs on the new Traverse. I was very disappointed with the look of the new Acadia and more importantly the fact that they shrunk the size. The reasons I preferred the Acadia in the past are now the reasons I prefer the Traverse; more of an SUV body style, more leg room and especially more cargo room behind the 3rd row seat. The added entertainment and safety features have also been a very nice addition.

Big Mistake
Updated 1/9/2023. It continues to be a let down. There is a "shift to park" error that GM ignores even though it has been around a long while and not only affects this model but many models of GM. There are lawsuits regarding this issue. I called the dealership to ask and was treated horribly, and as if they had never even heard of this issue. Then was told, it would be between &50-$1200 to fix. https://pickuptrucktalk.com/2021/11/another-lawsuit-filed-over-gm-shift-to-park-feature/ So far the 2018 Chevy Traverse High Country is a huge let down, not sure which is worse, the fact the vehicle is such poor quality for the price or the poor service from local Chevrolet dealerships. The only real positive attribute is the size. The car rattles and squeaks like a cheap styrofoam cooler when travelling "rough" highways. The transmission had failed twice under 11000 miles. Two times to the shop for this "fix". The auto stop "feature" is terrible and supposedly no bypass for this forced "feature". Music has to be almost completely tuned to rear speakers because if there is any bass the front rt speaker buzzes and rattles. Grossly disappointed in GM considering we have had 2 Suburbans, a Yukon XL Denali, Cadillac SRX, 3 Tahoes and a Yukon. over the past 20 years. Of course, at the dealerships, the transmission faults occur and are fixed, but somehow no one can hear the squeaks or rattles. No front parking sensor either, this was on all of our older vehicles, they replaced with the front camera which you have to physically activate when pulling into the space....The sunroof retractable shade is just a cheap fabric frame, and you have to be very careful in opening is as to not break the plastic clasp. Overall a hugely disappointing purchase. After going to multiple dealerships and finding one that would listen, we got 99% of the noises taken care of, it was loose wire harness chafing in the back hatch and door panels. Found an after market company, order the start-stop to bypass the aggravating shut off at traffic lights and they has been a huge plus. Would still NEVER recommend Chevrolet, GM ever again and specifically not Carl Black Chevrolet in Kennesaw GA.

Awesome Vehicle
Just bought a 3LT two weeks ago and continue to be very impressed. Test drove a Cadillac AT5, a Honda Pilot, and a Ford Explorer. No contest. This rig has an excellent engine and the 9 speed transmission is outstanding. We live in Montana and the Traverse takes on our winter conditions without any problems. The wife loves the very comfortable interior and leather bucket seats. Highly recommend this vehicle for ride, appointments and cargo space.
2018 major transmission issues at 20,000 miles
We are also victims of the terrible transmission issues. My car stared at 19000 miles with the shoddy to park issues now transmission is making a noise and not shifting from first to second properly. It will jerk and one time I thought it was going to stall as I was crossing from a red light. I’m going to trade this piece of crap 2018 Lt loaded model with leather, dual moon roofs and Bose just because I don’t trust Chevrolet anymore. I was a beautiful car, but what good is it if it won’t last? I’m taking a loss and offloading this POS this week! Beware if you get a Traverse!
Never buying another Chevy
Leased a 2018 Traverse in February 2018 and I've had to have it towed to the dealer 3 times. All 3 times, I would be driving and the acceleration would get jerky. Then all the dashboard lights and messages would start flashing. The first time, I had the car about 3 months and they replaced a relay and a spark plug. The second time, the dealer told me there was a known transmission problem for which GM instructed the dealer to replace the transmission fluid with a thicker transmission fluid. And the 3rd time, a relay and spark plug needed to be replaced AGAIN. How can something as basic as a spark plug go bad TWICE. This is a problem I'd expect in 1975, not in 2018 or 2019. I can't wait for my lease to be up. I'll never take a chance on buying another GM vehicle. This Traverse cost way too much for me to be having so many problems.

The car is improved in all but one criteria - where the old drivers seat (and also the passengers) was hard it was still good for long distance, the new one is softer and feels more comfortable until you are in it for more than 15 minutes. that's when it becomes apparent that the bottom cushion is now way short, and the bottom cushion side thigh support have been cut even shorter. my right foot got tired in 15 minutes - this is the same reason why i got rid of my Malibu after just 4 months. I could easily pay another $500 just to have Chevy make a better bottom cushion (Chevy if you need help go to Nissan and get theirs straight from the Altima). with 3 kids i need something this size, and the seat is a deal breaker - we will not be replacing tour 2016 Traverse with the new one sadly (unless GM fixes this quickly).

STAY AWAY
Transmission issues!!! We purchased this vehicle brand new and from just over 1000 miles it started jerking excessively when accelerating. The steering wheel also has a loud shrieking noise when making a turn. After several trips and hours spent at the dealership the issue is still not resolved at 34,600 miles. We contacted GM who could care less. If you want your kids and family to be be safe stay away from GM....

ELECTRICAL/ENGINE/ALTERNATOR/STALLING/SHUTDWN
NOT RELIABLE Good Evening, I purchased a 2018 Redline Chevy Traverse in April 2019 . As I was returning from GA, the vehicle broken down on 10/29/2019. I received the following light indicators : The Chevy Traverse Stabilitrak/Traction ,Battery Saver Active , alternator, ABS the car went COMPLETELY DEAD. I had no power at all. HOW CAN AN ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY GO BAD IN A 2018 VEHICLE? WHAT COULD CAUSE THE SYSTEM TO FAIL? I HAVE HAD NO CAR ACCIDENTS?

Biggest Lemon I ever Purchased.
I purchased a Chevy Traverse 2018 from them in June of 2018. The vehicle has needed the transmission to be serviced 3 times with only 7,000 miles. The final visit they informed me that Chevy can not fix my vehicle at this time. I strongly advise you not to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. Chevy knows there is a problem with their car and multiple complaints from customers are on the internet for the same problem. I will now have to obtain an attorney to resolve my issue. Again buyer beware, In addition, I was told I may need to give them more money for another car. HELLO ANYBODY HOME.

Rear passenger breaks squeaking.
Have been trying to get this fixed, after 8000 miles breaks starting squeaking on the rear passenger side. Took it to the dealer ship but it didn't get fixed. A new car should not have any issues.
