Used 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer Consumer Reviews
I love my new ride
I went from an xterra to my Blazer, and I love the comfortable and quiet ride. It is so smooth, you hear no outside noises! I like the bigger size, I had an older Blazer 1995 and I loved it also, but more room is great!
Great SUV
I bought this suv with 45000 miles and the only problem was the radio lights went out covered by extended warr After adding a k&n filter i get around 19 mpg in town very strong engine for a 6 cly great family car and great for traveling so far no problems and have made two trips from north carolina to arizona and still quiet and fun to drive. a good buy for todays cars and with all cars having problem this one is a great buy for the money

The Good, Bad, and Mean looking
The GOOD: Love the styling, even on the interior, its not high tech or futuristic, it is practical. It has the power when you need it. The BAD: I bought the extended warranty and 3 months after I bought it I had to replace the engine, cylinder lost compression and it was idling rough. I spoke with the Enterprise rental guys and they told me the Trailblazer was the vehicle they saw come in for warranty service the most. Enough said there. Road noise is bad because of bad fit for the windows and therefore leaks into the door panels. my speakers were corroded and I had to replace them. I had to replace the water pump. Bottom line, a good style design needs to be backed up by a reliable design
Nice truck
Purchased TB to replace an '02 Explorer (first and absolutely last Ford). Pleasure to drive, good performance, good reliability. Lots of wind noise. Not much storage up front. Seats could fold down easier with more room (they hit the front seats). Seat belts aren't the most comfortable, and hard to reach. Love the heated leather, stereo, sunroof, driver info center. Gas mileage could be better. Cup holder locations aren't very convenient. Great ride, though, and Chevy reliability is the best, especially after owning a Ford.
'05 Trailblazer
Really excited to purchase first SUV. Six months later, I am disappointed. Poor fit and finish, interior is terribly cheap. First and last GM product.
