My Opinion

I love my Trailblazer. It's very dependable and practical for my family of 5. Great for family outings, including towing our boat. After totalling my last Blazer on black ice and walking away unscathed, I wouldn't own anything else!

Nice smooth lines on the body. Rear kicked up to 3.73 ratio really kicks in at 2800-300 RPM. Feels like an extra gear. The ride is so smooth. Mileage is very reasonable. Locations of gauges and gadgets is nice. Instrument cluster is very nice. Full gauges-Gas, Oil, RPM, Tach, Temp, Battery. Engine feels like it always wants to go. Good feeling and response from the engine. Smooth acceleration. Rear cargo hold is easily accessible. Braking has improved too. Stopping my 1995 Blazer was like stopping a bus! I really enjoy driving this car!

Worried I made the wrong purchase

I traded my 2001 Jeep in for a trailblazer, loved the handling the first time I drove it. It had 31K when I purchased it and now it has 36K. I have had to replace both front wheel bearings (which thank god I purchased the extended warranty) and the air pump system needed to be replaced. Currently since my check engine light came on due to the air pump my cruise total will not stay engaged. So back to the garage. I am now starting to feel a slip in the transmission. There is also barely any room up front and the wind noise in the doors and windows are annoying. Wished I read these reviews first. I would of stayed with Jeep or Toyota.

I've had this truck for 10 months problem free. The ride is not as good when first bought new , but its still better than most mid size SUV's. Solid SUV , would buy again .

Its all in the name. I just bought this vehicle (my 1st Chevy or GM product) and everything about the way this car screams cruising. Yes it has the horses but it takes forever to get up there. The car does not accelerate. Its like being dragged out of bed to go to school when we were kids. It starts off VRRRRRR (do I really have to?) RRRROOOM. Once it gets there, it's cruisin'. This vehicle is for cruising only and it's great for that purpose only. I have the EXT version LS equipped with the basics. Its about as long as a SUV can get. I was surprised at the horsepower this thing has. After owning nothing but foreign SUV's, this GM product has changed my thinking about domestic products.
