Used 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer Consumer Reviews
Never Again
Bought used with 30,000 miles, good looking vehicle. have had numerous problems. 4 wheel drive went out so did read end. Also dual climate doesn't work and has been fixed 3 times. Terrible wind noise, washer fluid quits working has been repaired 4 times. Very hard on tires as well will now get good mileage no matter how many times you rotate them. Terrible fuel mileage as expected. Parts are very expensive as alternator costs over $200. Oil is difficult to change with the cover plate and design. Make sure you change tranny fluid or you will have that to deal with. Overall a good looking vehicle but probably the last Chevy I will ever own unless I buy a Corvette.
TrailBlazer
Nice features... leather, stereo, 8 way seats, etc. Handles well, drives quietly, we are very happy.

'02 Trailblazer
I love this car. We've has it since it was new. Our set-up will tow 5500#, and the other gear ratio will tow 6500#. We used to use it to tow a small travel trailer, but has to buy a truck when we bought a larger unit. It was great to use to tow a boat also. They all come standard with a 4" Reese hitch receiver. If you just want performance, it has 270 Horsepower and has plenty of get up and go. In the snow it is great also. I remember Christmas the first year we owned it. There was about 14" of snow, and some roads actually hadn't been plowed all day. This car when right through it all and never got stuck. We drove right thought the snowbanks at the end of the unplowed driveway
best advice is to rent one first
the "pro's" do not score this suv very well, so i put it to the test myself. i rented one for 2 days, and LOVED it! it is a great vehicle. it is so smooth through every gear, every road condition, and every turn. the power is well distributed through out all 4 gears. not only that, the braking is unbelievable when i tow my boat. i was set on a durango. until i rented this vehicle to put it to MY test. it is a much better vehicle than the durango.
My Trailblazer
I just bought my Trailblazer a couple months ago. My Trailblazer does not have a ashtray and cruise. They do make them with cruise and a ashtray, mine just happen to be one of the ones that did not come with them. Other than that it has everything else a person could hope for. We havent owned it long enough to know if it is dependable or not, but so far hasnt given any trouble. I love to take long trips and sleep while I'm riding so comfort is a big deal to me. These seats are awesome to sit on or sleep while on a trip. They have great support. I have found my Trailblazer has a lot of power.
