Used 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer Consumer Reviews
Love my Trailblazer
I bought my Trailblazer 2nd hand. I worked at a small private dealership that specialized in used trucks and SUVs. My boss got it from a Chevy dealership. It only had 1 previous owner and it had 55,000mi on it when I bought it. I haven't had to do much except maintenance. I have 70,000mi on it now. I expect problems to arise after 60,000mi. I had a Chevy S10 pickup and it had to have things replaced when it hit around 50,000. I hope to have it for a while. It is excellent in the snow and rain. My pickup truck was great too but it would hydroplane bad in rain. The Trailblazer handles well all around. It is an SUV, not a sportscar. I am very happy with my Trailblazer.
Proud Bowtie Owner
I've had my TrailBlazer for about seven months. I absolutley LOVE MY TB! When I tell people how many horses the inline 6 has, they can't believe it. When it comes to handling, I think it is excellent considering it's a SUV not a Corvette! The only SUV that I would consider buying after this one is the Avalanche. Thumbs up GM, you did good!

rearend went out @ 7000 miles. brake lights went out 3 times.service bulletin was issued for this ,and the front suspension feels loose and rattles. other than that its a nice vehicle.
My Trailblazer
Poor audio system, lots of road and engine noise. I am going to add insulation to lessen noise.
"Generally Favorable-But"
Generally favorable, confortable, good mileage, particularly HWY, good electronics, espec.ave/miles/gal.etc. However, several minor recalls, 2 tail- light assemblies, one fan motor, + major expense on a "fuel sender-unit" all at 45m-55m miles, make this a frustrating vehicle compared to my two Four-Runners. Might consider another Trailblazer only because of the phychological counseling provided by my dealer!
