2004 Chevrolet Tahoe LS Rwd 4dr SUV (4.8L 8cyl 4A)

Review

We have a Suburban ('04) and from
driving them, decided to get one-my
wife wanted the Tahoe and opted for
the Suburban

Best Features

17 in. wheels, 5.3 engine,Bose premium sound, 3rd row seat and smoothness of drive. It consitantly gets 17MPG around town and 20 on the highway.

Worst Features

Rear suspension like the expedition that would allow full use of the 3rd row for adults.

Looked at all the rest;
minivans (Sienna, Caravan, Odyssey),
crossovers (Pacifica), mid-fullsize
suv's (Toureg, XC90,
MDX, RX330, Armada). We kept coming
back to the Z71. Safety features, cargo
space and creature comforts all fit the
bill. When you want to travel in
style, in any climate, you can't beat
the value this mature platform brings
to the table. You'll find yourself
jumping behind the wheel for no reason
at all other than to tour the
neighborhood! And...yes...for those
who whine and pummel the Tahoe for its
fuel efficiency...maybe you should have
considered a smaller vehicle or a
hybrid..hmm? Until then...leave the
BIG DOGS alone!

Best Features

Heated seats/10 way adjustable (must have) DVD, seat/pedal/mirror memory feature, exterior safety nightime lights (cool!) OnStar, XM, power folding mirrors. Sharp styling, fit-n- finish, moonroof. Best of all...the ride and power. Wooohooo!

Worst Features

Okay...maybe I would like to feel less like Norm (Cheers) pulling into the Shell station. MPG of 15 and above would put this vehicle over the top! A navigation unit should be at least offered.

Review

We bought a brand new white chevy z71.
It listed for 47,992 with the options
we put in it. It is one of the most
horrible cars, seriously. You feel like
your driving a 10,000.00 car from the
inside. EVERYTHING on the dash and
center console is plastic, and to top
it all off there is horendiously cheap
looking vinyl on the backs of the seat.
It cruises well on the highway at aroud
70 but taking turns at 30 off exits is
scary. Lately i have been hearing a
esterior wistle and i dont know what it
is...but i cant wait for a month to
replace it with the new range rover.

Best Features

Alloy wheels look nice. lookis nice on the outside.

Worst Features

-Blang interior -cheap looking-feeling interior -bad ergonomics -Lazy imprecise steering -acceleration noise
