2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS 4WD 4dr SUV (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

The most powerful vehicle I ever owned
had a 118 horsepower engine. My Z71 has
almost 300! It's beautiful and has a
smooth ride. It gets lousy mileage but
I only work 4 miles from work.

Best Features

Everything. Especially the ~300 horsepower engine.

Worst Features

Some of the older models of the Tahoe and Suburban had door guards built onto the vehicle and the newer models do not. I think Chevy should bring back this feature. The big doors on my SUV seem to be the target of all vehicles.

Review

This is one beautiful truck. In fact
It's my second Chevy Suburban in a row
(the first in 2001). The combination of
world class design, styling and build
made my choice to go with another
Suburban easy. Both vehicles were/are
flawless. In my opinion It's the
finest example of a SUV on the planet.

Best Features

My Z71 looks marvlous and handels as closer to a sports car as a 6000 pound truck right has a right to. My wife loves to drive it, even towing a 21' deck boat!!!

Worst Features

I dont' know but I'm sure those guys at GM will come up with somethin even better.

2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS 4WD 4dr SUV (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

Review

Bought this in October of 2003 and as
of August of 2004 had very good luck
with this vehicle, it pulls trailers
without any problem, goes down the
road offering a great ride and has
tons of storage with the back seat
folded down. Engine has been noise
free unlike the 2000 Silverado that I
had previously with the 6 liter that
sounded like it was going to fall
apart every time I cold started it.

All in all a great vehicle that I'm
totally pleased with, could be better
but then again what couldn't be?

Best Features

Xm Radio, Sun Roof, large cargo carrying capacity, trailering package, Bose sound package

Worst Features

Well it would be nice to squeeze out a little better gas mileage out of this thing, it is a tad bit of a hog. Seat memory loses it's mind at times. Should offer the Z-71 package WITHOUT the third seat as I took mine out upon purchase and have NEVER used it.
