11-07-25 Update at 64000 miles: Overall I am pleased with the truck. I love the features, especially when pulling a 24'ft flatbed trailer loaded with a tractor. What I do not like is the maintenance costs! I have spent +-$2000.00 in maintenance costs in 2025 - Oil changes, Transmission, transfer case, front, rear axle service - Normal Sched maintenance based of mileage. With added cost … for Diesel, Def, I would recommend going Gas and a 1500 if you can. I also recommend a 2wd over a 4x4 unless you absolutely need 4x4. Unfortunately, I needed 4x4 (Farm and 2500 - hauling a tractor). However, I will get gas over diesel next time. 05-05-25 Next month will be my 2 year anniversary of taking delivery. Just turned 51,000 miles. I've had 3 software recalls which dealer took care of during scheduled oil changes. I've had 1 minor issue, check engine light related to emissions, at 45K miles. The dealer performed a force regen in the parking lot. Error cleared. There was no noticeable impact to MPG, driving or idling. Just the check engine light which cleared after the force regen. No charge by the dealer. Issue hasn't returned. I've been very pleased with my purchase. No complaints. I still get good MPG without a trailer - 21-24 MPG hwy. With a trailer loaded w/Kubota Tractor, I drop to 16-17MPG. Pulling is great, don't notice the load at all, only the decrease in MPG. After 4 months of use, 10,500 miles, I must say I'm impressed. Truck is quiet, fun to drive, mpg has really surprised me in a positive way. I avg 20-24 mpg on hwy. Most of my driving is in Central & NE Florida and SE Georgia. Love the cameras 13 of them. Make driving much safer. As does the BLIS, HUD spoils you, won't own another vehicle without them. Front/rear parking sensors very helpful parking. Electric folding mirrors are helpful entering/exiting garage. Dash, infotainment screen and dash pad are high-end looking as is the rest of the interior. So far, no warranty issues to report 10k+ miles. I Avg 1.5 gals of def usage every 6500 miles. +-830 miles crusing range on 1 tank of diesel when driving hwy only. 650-735 range when combo city/hwy. Hope this info helps...

2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Custom 4dr Crew Cab LB (6.6L 8cyl 10A)
I bought a 2025 Chevy 2500 custom in November to replace a 15 year old Toyota Tundra. It only has 1900 miles on it and had to be towed to dealership because it was completely dead after infotainment system went out. Had to have tow driver jump it because I couldn’t get into back of truck with camper shell and decked drawer system to get my jumper cables because tailgate only has an … electric button to open. Then I had to use key to open because trucks was dead but alarm still worked and went off till I used key to re lock door. Dealer has had truck for 3 weeks and says truck is dead because of radio and have no idea when they will be able to get a new one and they are special order and out of stock! How the F! Does a billion dollar company like Chevy not have a part for a 2025 truck and can’t even tell me when it will be in. Mean while I’m driving my 2008 Tundra that has not once in 15 yrs ever had an issue or not started, I own a construction company and invested 8k in a camper shell decked drawer system and bed glide that I can’t even use because truck is stuck at dealer and they told me it’s not safe to drive all because of a radio!!! Will never in my life again buy a Chevrolet! In process of finding a lemon law lawyer!

2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LTZ 4dr Crew Cab 4WD SB (6.6L 8cyl 10A)
I have only had the Truck less than a week, drove it back to California from Boise. I was leaning towards a RAM 2500HD as it seemed that its the current buzz. I have, for the most part been a GMC/Chevy owner, I decided I would test drive the Chevy LTZ before moving ahead with the RAM. I am so glad I did! Two things changed my mind, the RAM felt loose and all over the place at speeds … of 55 and up. The Chevy is very tight, responsive and doesn't over compensate. What sold me was the 470HP Duramax, the RAM has the 370HP but did not respond like the Chevy, Driving back from Boise there was no hesitation or waiting to get up to speed, up and down hills or passing. The truck just handles and responds. Both Trucks tow more than I need and both look great, But a blacked out (Night Edition) Chevy not only looks mean, it has a classy vibe about it. I am no car guru and this is more than enough machine to pull my trailer and a lot more. I cannot speak for the RAM, but I have had multiple trucks over the years, all GM products and only a few issues. I cannot say one is better than the other, as I take care of my maintenance and I don't beat them in the ground when driving. Keeping my current GMC with 200k+ miles as its a work horse. This truck seems to be built to last, but time will tell.

2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT 4dr Crew Cab SB (6.6L 8cyl 10A)
Only had my 2500HD 6.6 gas with a 10 speed Allison Transmission for a week or so, but simply put, it’s awesome! Pulls great, drivers unloaded great with all the creature comforts you need. Time will tell, but so far, I Love it!!!
