The best run was achieved while torque braking the transmission off the line and manually shifting to get as close to redline as possible. Two-valve engine technology and a lot of weight both contribute to the slow quarter mile times.
The standard ABS allows a lot of noise when panic braking. The noise comes from both the system and the tire contact with the pavement. The vehicle seemed to pull left and did not have very good stability under the heavy braking required for this test, but the distances were not bad for a vehicle with this much weight.
