My Midlife Crisis Come True
By doxcr on

2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 2dr Coupe (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

As the result of an accident, I have
been confined to a wheelchair (w/c) for
the past 26 years. I started out
driving a van converted to accomodate
my chair; however, it is hard to find
reliable businesses to repair w/c lifts
and seating. I have been in love with
the Monte Carlo SS for the past 30
years and when I saw the design of the
Monte Carlo last year, I decided it was
time to get myself strong enough to go
to a car. There were a few issues in
the beginning but now I am very pleased
with my decision.

Best Features

The body style is one of my favorite features. The trunk space is enormous and driving the car gets alot of second glances. I chose the Superior Blue exterior and it is a fun color and different from the color that most folks want to have.

Worst Features

The main feature I would like to have had added is a handle on the driver's side like on the passenger's side to aid in my entry into the drivers side. I have to utilize a slide board and a handle would sure be handy.
