1997 Chevrolet Lumina 4dr Sedan

This car was purchased used with about 24k miles and currently has about 96k. This has been a very fuel efficient car , better than many smaller cars. Has been pretty reliable (have replaced alternator at about 36k, replaced water pump at 75k and had intake manifold gasket replaced under warranty at about 73k).The only other items replaced have been normal wear items (brakes, hoses, belts, etc).

Best Features

-Large trunk -Fuel economy (average on hwy has been 30 mpg at about 70-75 mph and has been as high as 35 mpg) -Highway ride (this is our road trip car and has made many 11+ hour per day drives) -Excellent interior room

Worst Features

-Location of battery makes for unreasonably difficult replacement (took me over 30 minutes the first time, should take no longer than 5-10, GM engineers are apparently not mechanics) -Sunvisor clips keep falling out -Front seats could be more comfortable
