2002 Chevrolet Impala LS 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I bought this high milage 2002 Impala LS with all the options, and the feeling of having fun driving came back to me.

Best Features

This Impala feels solid on the road, the touring suspension give a sturdy feel, visibility is excellent. The ride is nice and quiet.

Worst Features

It took several readings of the manual to figure out the features of the audio system, and the adjustments to the electronics of the vehicle. It is not very intuitive.

2002 Chevrolet Impala LS 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I believe that this car is the best model out there. We have an infant and this car has everything we could want out of a family car. Security, room, and style. We would give this car an overall rating of 10 out of 10.

Best Features

My favorite features would have to be the size of the car, The trunk space, the smooth ride, and the sleek style of the car itself.

Worst Features

I have no improvements to suggest.

2002 Chevrolet Impala LS 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I bought my Impala about six months ago with 22000 on it. I have loved the car ever since with decent power and gas mileage for its size. I also like the trunk space. Only real complaint is I had to mount my XM radio obove the mirror as there aren't really any flat spots on the dash.

Best Features

Trunk space, On Star

Worst Features

Better suspension, and fix the little black thing that always drags in the front.

2002 Chevrolet Impala 4dr Sedan (3.4L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Very poor front brakes, they go out of
round every 20,000 miles. Need better
quality material in the brakes, same
problem on my 2000 Malibu.

Best Features

3800 Engine

Worst Features

Ship with Goodyear Eagle's or better tires only.Get rid of Tiger Paw tires.

2002 Chevrolet Impala LS 4dr Sedan (3.8L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I needed a larger four-door car. I
wanted performance and creature
comfort. I got both with this car. A
loaded LS has about as much as anyone
could want. The moonroof is great and
the heated seats and steering wheel
mounted audio controls are very
luxurious. It handles reasonably well
but not like a small car. Quite quiet
inside with windows up. The controls
are well placed and the trunk is huge.
The 3.8L engine delivers enough power
to really go but gets great mileage (I
average about 23 MPG around town, 29
highway).

Best Features

Large trunk with folding seats, trunk opener on keyfob, lighting when remotely opened, trip computer, audio controls on steering wheel, heated leather seats, reliability. Individual heater controls for front passengers. Dealer service has been great.

Worst Features

Rear wheel discs have needed turning every 12,000 because of corrosion (serviced under warranty). Something is wrong there.
