2005 Chevrolet Equinox LS AWD 4dr SUV (3.4L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I have had the Chevy Equinox for 1 month now and it is very fun to drive. I have the LS AWD and I recently took it through the snow and on the dirt. Never had any problems. I went over some ice and the AWD kicked in. The Equinox handles very nice. No problems with the radio controls, not that hard to figure out. My Passengers love the slight reclining seats in the back.

2005 Chevrolet Equinox LS AWD 4dr SUV (3.4L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Have had my Nox several months and is the best SUV for the money on the market. Goes where you want to go, does what you ask, and takes all you want to take inside it. Gas mileage was an issue until was broken in, now is good. Strongly endorse it as a mid size with big size room.

Best Features

Auto 4WD, acceleration, comfort, and room, lots of room.

Worst Features

Make window rain shields standard instead of being an add on option.

2005 Chevrolet Equinox LS AWD 4dr SUV (3.4L 6cyl 5A)

Review

This is my first SUV. Handles well on long drives, very comfortable. The only negative would be mileage - even on highway I was only averaging 22 mpg. Have recommended it to others.

Best Features

Definitely like the adjustable drivers seat. One of big reasons for buying car. Ability to adjust rear seat; tray in rear great for long trips, allows for storing luggage on top and below. Space under console in front good for purse-a plus.

Worst Features

Stereo system too complicated. Read manual several times and still haven't figured it all out. Redesign the rim around the front window wipers; is very deep; very difficult to remove snow and ice.

2005 Chevrolet Equinox LS Fwd 4dr SUV (3.4L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I bought this SUV for it's roomy interior as both my grandson (15) and I are well over six feet. A fine choice, I might add. That rear seat makes a big difference. The style both in and out are very good. ***** I AM 83 AND I LOVE IT *****

Best Features

The adjustable rear seat. It's just plain fun to drive. While it's not expensive it's not plain looking either.

Worst Features

Steering, You need to much room to make a 180' turn. Brake pedal needs to be moved slightly to left, or just a wider pedal. cup holders, ugh. Clean up the radio control section.
