Used 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Consumer Reviews
The Year of the Corvette
Being a long time lover of all things Corvette, I was delighted to drive away with my 2005 model. The new look, 2 thumbs up! The options, bought them all! Love the glass hardtop! What more could you want in a sports car? 0- 60 in 4.1 seconds? Wanna race?
C6 -- my first Corvette
My husband has had 6 corvettes in his lifetime, but this is my first . . . and I love it. From absolute stunning beauty to high performance and exceptional high technology, this car is everything I ever wanted. I chose a Metallic Red Coupe, and I assure you heads turn everywhere I go. People stop in their tracks to stare. I can't get through a stoplight without someone rolling down their window to tell me how beautiful my car is. Thanks, Chevrolet, for the car of my dreams!

Wind noise
This is my first Vette and I love it. Everyone turns and looks when you go by (magnetic red rocks) and gives you the thumbs up. I love the car but only get to use it on the weekends. My only complaint is the wind noise when the roof panel is off and everything in back blows all over. You can hardly hear the radio unless you crank it up. I'm looking forward to my first road trip to the mountains in 2 months.
Best Vette I've ever owned
This is my 3rd, I had a 93, 04 and now this 05. The comfort in this car has been greatly improved, not to mention horse power and overall handling. The new exhaust system have a perfect, deep sound to it, and I appreciate the fact they went back to having the 6sp manual as standard.
We love our new Vette
One test drive is all it took to fall for this car. It is a major head turner where ever we go. Driving cross country at 80 mph we even got excellent mileage (26.3 mpg). The overall refinement of the car is also quite astounding. Heads up display, navigation system, Bose sound system, heated seats, leather interior...the list goes on and on. The engine makes 400 horsepower and with traction control, you can accelerate hard on an onramp but since the tires don't squeal you don't attract undue attention. The Active Handling is also unbelievable. You can enter a turn at double the posted speed and even in the rain the car won't spin.
