2023 Blazer 3LT
UPDATE: Well over a year (purchased June ‘23) since I bought my Chevy Blazer 3 LT V6, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Absolutely no problems, mechanical or otherwise, and it’s great to drive! Handles incredibly well with lots of power when needed. Chevy dealership gets you in and out promptly during routine servicing, and Chevy points keep oil changes low cost! My Blazer 3LT V6 is a pleasure to own and drive. My 2023 Blazer 3LT is simply a great driving car! I got the V6 option and its power and speed on Calif freeways is awesome, while handling is smooth and reliable. And tons of features! Forget about what reviewers said regarding storage-the Blazer has plenty of room! And once you lay down the rear seats you have a lot of additional space. I also opted for 20” silver wheels, black bowties and black front grill bar. The interior is elegant, very comfortable, and entertainment system is top notch. Plus 3 free months of free Sirius, which has more channels than you will ever need. Only cons are: ventilated seats only available in Premier trim, and black interior only color option until Premiere trim as well. Additional info and contact from Chevy is very comprehensive with ongoing specials on accessories, service, etc. They heartily welcome you to the “Chevy family.” Highly recommend the 2023-24 Chevy Blazer.

Really nice ride!
2023 Blazer Premier, AWD, V6, Sterling Grey Metallic, driver’s confidence 2 and convenience packages on board. Purchased new, special order from dealer. Has less than 1000 miles so these are first impressions. Technology is superb. Still learning the ropes relative to capabilities but 360 degree camera great tool in parking lots or a tight garage. Rear and side view assist using rear view mirror as the “screen” is a life saver on crowded interstates. Handheld connectivity is excellent based on limited use. Had opportunity during Midwest snowstorm last week to engage 4wd, very smooth actuation and disabling. Interior is step up from 2013 equinox, no doubt, but still too many hard plastic surfaces. Rear seat warmer is a nice feature as are automatic front seat and steering wheel warmers. Have 20” standard issue wheels, design is marked improvement over the 2019-2022 version, my opinion. I like the independent 60/40 rear seat fore and aft mobility, also GM did a good job designing the rear seats to fold down to form a flat surface for cargo stowage. Sound system is very nice (wife’s favorite part of the vehicle so far). Have limited interstate mileage so far, plus it’s been cold so mileage suffers a bit but it looks like it is going to average at least 25 mpg at 75mph in warmer weather. V6 LGX series engine and 9 speed is excellent matchup, extremely smooth shifting. And yes, the vehicle “gets out of its own way” very well. So far, very pleased, yeah, I think the price is high but the combination of recent inflation coupled with supply chain issues really crippled the ability to negotiate. I paid zero “market adjustment” upcharges; that would have been a deal breaker. I’ll update this as time and mileage passes. Update: 3/6/2023.Just finished a long trip. Mix of interstate and around town driving. Idled during food breaks since we ate (carefully) in the vehicle since we had our dog with us. I typically cruise 75-80 mph on interstates unless speed limit permits higher. Top speed reached shall remain classified, suffice to say it was well above max speed limit anywhere in the US. Had a fair amount of low-speed stop/go driving. Hit the trip computer reset when we left the house, checked it when we got home 3 weeks later. Results were: Miles driven: 3215.1 Average mileage: 23.1 mpg Average speed: 49.1mph. Vehicle performance was overall excellent, quiet and comfortable. Technology was very helpful, especially wide-angle rear-view camera on busy interstates through big cities. So far, very pleased with the purchase, so glad we chose the V6, More as time passes. Update, 9/7/23, 7100 mi.- Blazer is still meeting/exceeding all expectations. Very happy with the technology, especially the safety features. Limited short (<150 mi) interstate trips, hoping for more this fall; we typically average 25-26mpg at 75mph summertime temps. Will update more as things unfold. Very happy with the purchase so far! Update, 9/8/24…18000 miles, closely, no issues to report, been a slow travel season over the past year, 2 long trips planned over the next 6 months so I’ll update again afterward or as needed. Still totally happy with the purchase! So happy we went with the V6.

Great vehicle except burns oil
I love the design, ride, performance, and handling. The one issue I have is the vehicle burns 1 quart of oil every 1,300 miles and the dealer tells me that is acceptable. There is no smoke coming from the exhaust or leaks, it just disappears. I have the 2LT with the 2.0 turbo.

Best Vehicle that I Have Owned
I have previously owned luxury and sports vehicles to standard SUVs and the Blazer is by far the best vehicle that I have ever owned. The exterior of the vehicle is gorgeous and the interior is perfect. The V6 engine and transmission provide seamless shifting and provide extremely fun to drive performance. No quality issues during my first two years.

2023 blazer rs a piece of crap
Our 2023 rs has more orange lights on the dash of stuff that don’t work after only 3,000 miles. Chevy does not have the parts to fix. It took over 10 months to get after we ordered it. Then with didn’t get any of the rear park assist. Now non of the safety stuff works. No cruise control, no anti lock brakes, no traction control. Not safe to drive

Overall great vehicle V6 lots of power, having issues with poor fitting lower molding on all doors, there are gaps that water dirt can get into on the lower part of the doors.

Awesome SUV, horrible electronics.
The vehicle is very nice, rides well, is eye catching, etc, but I have a factory issue with the Bose “premium” sound system in that the front right speaker makes an awful crackling noise when volume is above roughly 30%. I had it replaced under warranty and it did not resolve the issue. Nobody seems to know what’s wrong with it. Make sure you check that before you buy it. This has been a headache.

Blazer RS
So far the Blazer is an enjoyable vehicle to drive. I like fit, trim and looks. One thing we did have issues with, is the vehicle detection system when it rains. Don’t trust the sensors when changing lanes while driving in the rain. Took it back to the dealer and was told that there has been problems with them. Also we have been waiting for GM to call and have us bring the vehicle in to get the park assist sensors installed, since everything was being installed on the “ev’s” at that time. Crickets from GM. Will be calling and reminding them.

2024 Blazer with 2000 miles - transmission out
I thought I would love my Blazer, but after 2000 miles the transmission went out. It's been sitting in the shop for 2 months with parts on backorder. Now I find out the transmission had already been rebuilt before I even bought it and this is the second major failure. Beware, this is happening to many. After 3 months in the shop, they finally have decided to replace with a new transmission, but say it will take another month to get the repair done. So at least 4 months in the shop with no loaner or rental car paid for. Chevrolet sucks! After 40 years of loyalty we won't own another one.

Pleasantly Surprised
With my son turning 18 and handing over our 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee to him, i needed a new vehicle. My husband and I spent months researching new vehicles and came down to 3; the 2023 JGC , the 2024 and the Mazda CX- 50 and the Blazer. With all of the issues the JGC has unfortunately been having we decided to void that option (reluctantly since I love my Jeeps) and I have never been a huge fan of Chevy. The day we were going to buy the Mazda I took it for another test drive and just knew I wouldn’t be happy. The ride quality just wasn’t there. So we left and went to Chevy and ended ip purchasing a blacked out Blazer RS. And all I can say is wow… the ride is exceptional and a fun car to drive, and even get a few heat turns. It’s got some good pep to get on the highways and a great traveling vehicle. The gas tank is smaller than the Jeep so I do have to fill up more often, but after 4,000 miles I have had no issues so far. I am very happy with our decision.

2nd Blazer Hottie
This is the 2nd Blazer I’ve bought. The 1st was a 2019 Cajun Red Blazer. In 2021 McCluskey bought it back after just a year of owning it. So, recently I needed to upgrade to a bigger vehicle from a Ford Bronco Sport to carry my husband’s Wheelchair. So I picked out a Chevy Blazer and I’m glad I did. It’s big enough in the trunk to carry the wheelchair and I still have a Back Seat too. The color is called “Rip-Tide Blue So Hot people stop and ask “What Color Blue is that?” Also saying “That’s a Pretty Blue!” Okay it's been like 7 months and I'm still in love with this SUV, but I have 1 complaint and it's the infotainment center. Sometimes the infotainment drops the iPhone connection or the screen loses the color. I've taken my Vehicle into McCluskey Chevrolet, but they couldn't fix it, they just cleared the codes but it comes back. Too bad you don't have an upload of pics because I have pics of the screen.

Blazing the Roads with a Blazer
Love my new 23 Chevrolet Blazer. Perfect size for a 6'6" guy. Roomy and comfortable. One of the most sporty SUV's on the road. Love the bright red color. Lots of people stop me to compliment me on the car. Chevrolet got it right!

I like it
I bought my Chevy Blazer 3LT 3.6L V6 FW a couple of weeks ago, and so far I'm happy. It's a pleasure to drive the car. The seats are comfortable and most of the control buttons are convenient and practical. Beautiful display, camera and entertainment system. It was easy to disable permanently auto stop/start engine stupidity. Unfortunately warning messages that line assist and collision avoidance system are disabled, pop up every time I start the engine. I have to take plastic cover off the handle to open/close the vehicle using mechanical key. That's should be designed better. Fuel consumption in city 16.5-17.5 mpg, compare to Honda HR-V it was around 23 mpg. The dealer offered very reasonable price.

Blazing the Roads
Love the 2023 Blazer! Handles really well, great features, roomy & comfortable, fits needs of enjoying a road trip, hauling grandkids or hauling hay. Great all around vehicle & feels sporty. Came from a Hybrid Camry, which I loved, so the mpg is an adjustment but still pleased with about 24 mpg.

Sexy ride
I love the comfort in the drivers seat, all of the controls are easy to use and in reach, it drives down the road smooth as silk! The safety features like blind spot indicators and adaptive cruise control are awesome driving down the highway! As always I love SiriusXM, it’s always easy to find something my wife and I can listen to! Way to go Chevrolet, you knocked it out of the park with the blazer!

Red Blazer
Well-performing vehicle with many features designed for comfort, safety, appeal to the driver along with energy efficiency. Vehicle rides, drives and handles good in-town, on the road with sufficient cargo room as well as very comfortable to front and 2nd row passengers. I have been extremely pleased with this vehicle.

Surprised in some ways, not surprised in others.
We rented a Blazer recently, for 6 days and about 300 miles. Ours was front wheel drive, probably the fleet special 2LT trim. Brand new with only 3,500 miles on the clock. It was the first GM vehicle I had driven in decades, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-built it was. I'm old enough to remember when GM build quality was pretty poor- come to think of it you don't have to be very old- but they've come a long way. Good materials, good design, good construction. The body felt tight, no rattles. Competitive with a Japanese vehicle in this area. It also drove pretty well for its size despite having small tires without much tread. The turbo four produced abundant power, but also abundant torque steer, and the body was clearly designed with style more than visibility or cargo capacity in mind. That compromised visibility made it harder to point it where you wanted it to go. It was comfortable inside with wide seats, but lacked wireless phone charging, something every new vehicle should have, and the infotainment controls were confusing. Gas mileage was about 22.5 in mixed driving. There's nothing wrong with the Blazer I suppose but there are better options.
