Comfort with an Attitude
By Furman Evans on

2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 4dr Crew Cab 4WD (5.3L 8cyl 4A)

This is one of the most comfortable
vehicles I have ever driven. The seats
provide the comfort a body needs. The
quiet ride and sharp turning radius
provide an unexpected pleasure in a
vehicle like this. The onboard phone
has worked without cuts outs in every
area I have tried. It's extremely clear
and integrates perfectly with the radio
speaker system.

Best Features

My favorite features are the stero system with speed controlled volume, the electrochromigraphic dimming mirrors outside and inside and the saddlebag cooler/storage space. The large gas tank helps too. The overall cabin roominess is great.

Worst Features

The tailgate liner seems to be prone to scratching when items are slid across it. A differenct material may be more durable. having to reach across the tailgate.
