The 2025 Equinox uses the same 1.5T engine from the previous generation. The engine has the lowest horsepower and poorest fuel economy in the small SUV class. I am averaging 27 mpg combined. My 2013 Honda CR-V had the same fuel economy. Ridiculous.
The upgraded Bose sound system that was available in the previous generation was removed. The 6-speaker sound system is the worst I have … heard in the past 20 years.
