Upgraded Uconnect Infotainment System Bows in 2017 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep Vehicles

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — The all-new Uconnect infotainment system includes smartphone integration for the 2017 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger, Fiat Chrysler announced.

The updated system includes support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apple iPhone users get access to Apple Maps, messages, phone and Apple music through Siri voice control or the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen.

Android Auto enables access to Google voice search, Google Maps and Google Play Music.

The 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee's Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen now includes a feature called Off-Road Pages. These pages display vehicle information, including driving modes, along with suspension and drivetrain information.

Edmunds says: Car shoppers who value connectivity will appreciate the Uconnect upgrades.
