SANTA MONICA, California — Car shoppers can participate in two Edmunds Price Promise dealership takeovers this weekend.
Customers can get independent car-shopping advice and pricing on all new cars in stock at upfront, no-haggle prices.
Experts will be available at an "Ask Ed" bar to help shoppers feel confident about their upcoming purchase, validate prices and answer any questions about purchases.
The free service comes at the end of Car Week, in which nearly 300 dealers are offering their entire inventories at or below Edmunds True Market Value prices. This means shoppers can save thousands off sticker price without wasting a second on negotiating.
"Shopping for a car can be a stressful, time-consuming process, so we launched Car Week to create an easier and better experience for both shoppers and dealers," said Edmunds.com Chief Executive Offier Avi Steinlauf.
A high point of the weeklong event was the participation of car enthusiast and comedian Adam Carolla, who tagged along on test-drives.
Edmunds says: Car shoppers can continue to get expert car advice by calling the Live Help Line at 1-855-782-4711, via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by texting their questions to ED411 — a new service launched in time for Car Week.
