Quad Cities Nissan Offers $500 Weekly Prize to Grow Community Awareness

MOSCOW, Idaho Quad Cities Nissan gives away $500 every Monday to one person who liked and shared its Facebook page the week before or submitted contact information in one of the entry boxes in the showroom or throughout the city, including a local mall.

Each week the dealership receives about 40 to 75 Facebook likes and 150 names from the boxes of people trying to win, said Internet Manager Andrey Levkiv.

The winner must come to the dealership and claim the prize within five days.

"We do call people and ask if they'd like to be reentered into the following week's drawing and they usually do because they see the names and faces of the winners on Facebook and know it's a real contest," Levkiv said.

The generous prize has helped open doors for the new dealership, which hung out its shingle in October 2015, Levkiv said.

"People tell others about us and this contest and that is how they get to know us," he said.

It also gets car shoppers in front of showroom standouts, including the Nissan Rogue and Nissan Murano.

Levkiv said one $500 winner used the cash to buy a car and went on to get two $250 referral checks when the referrals bought cars as well.

"It shows we are a loyal dealership," he said.
