Jeep Enlists Owners To Tell Story of Brand's 75th Anniversary

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan Jeep wants to hear stories from owners as the brand celebrates its 75th anniversary.

"My Jeep Story" is looking for "inspiring Jeep brand stories," Fiat-Chrysler said in a statement on Monday.

One of the first stories comes from musical artist Ciara, a Jeep owner who recalled her father's use of a military Jeep during Desert Storm.

Participants can go to Jeep.com/myjeepstory starting on April 7 to post video of their "My Jeep Story" directly onto the site.

They can also post to their Instagram, Twitter and Facebook channels using #myjeepstory.

"The year will culminate with a digital compilation of '75' stories that speak authentically to the spirit of the brand," the automaker said.

The Jeep lineup, available now at Jeep dealerships, includes the Jeep Cherokee, Compass, Grand Cherokee, Patriot, Renegade, Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited.

Edmunds says: This marketing effort is counting on a groundswell of support from an army of Jeep loyalists.
