"Pricing will be similar to what Hyundai employees can get when they purchase," said Hyundai spokesman Jim Trainor in response to a query from Edmunds.
In effect, the RE/MAX employees and their Hyundai vehicles will become rolling advertisements for the Korean brand. RE/MAX had more than 900,000 residential transactions in the U.S. in 2013. Real-estate agents often use vehicles to shuttle prospective buyers to homes.
"Hyundai is committed to delivering value to RE/MAX affiliates by helping them make the best first impressions to their clients with Hyundai's modern premium lineup," said Trea Reedy, Hyundai Motor America senior group manager of experiential marketing, in a statement.
Edmunds says: Now is a good time for RE/MAX employees to head to their local Hyundai dealer.
