Gateway Area Acura Dealers Donate Portion of Sales To Aid Military Families

ST. LOUIS — The Gateway Area Acura Dealers will donate a portion from every new Acura vehicle sold to the local Fisher House Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides "a home away from home" to the families and caregivers of U.S. service personnel in need.

The fund-raising effort runs from now to February 29.

The Gateway Area Acura Dealers are Acura of Springfield, Frank Leta Acura and Mungenast St. Louis Acura.

"We are blessed to be able to support our community, especially members of the military," said Tom Fogerty, general manager of Mungenast St. Louis Acura and association president, in a statement.

The dealers are also hosting a live art show at the 2016 St. Louis Auto Show this weekend. A 2016 Acura MDX SUV will be hand-painted in a military theme as part of the festivities.

The Acura lineup also includes the 2016 Acura ILX, Acura RDX, Acura RLX and Acura TLX. The 2017 Acura NSX hybrid coupe will go on sale later this year.

Edmunds says: These dealerships show their patriotic spirit with the help of local car buyers.
