INGOLSTADT, Germany — Audi is not resting on its laurels after hogging the spotlight in Iron Man 3. The company on Wednesday offered the first official look at the futuristic Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro, which is set for a debut in Ender's Game.
Unlike the Audi R8 e-tron in Iron Man 3, this latest movie car marks a significant departure for the German automaker.
"The fictional Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro seen in the film Ender's Game marks the first time the car company has unveiled a purely virtual Audi in a feature film," said the automaker in a statement.

"Designing the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro was similar to customizing a tailor-made suit," said Frank Rimili, Audi's chief designer for the film project, in a statement. "We adapted it to the requirements of the world in Ender's Game and at the same time had to take care to preserve our brand values."
Audi said the car represents its "visions for the future world."
The science-fiction movie centers around a gifted child being trained at an advanced military school in space in advance of a future alien invasion.
The movie is set for a November 1 debut.
Edmunds says: Audi continues to make quite a name for itself in Hollywood, and this latest creation should help to burnish its screen cred.
