CAPE CORAL, Florida — Fuccillo Kia of Cape Coral is giving thanks this year by giving back to those in need.
Owner Billy Fuccillo announced the dealership would match up to $100,000 for every dollar donated to the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
He kicked off the match challenge by donating $5,000 to the food bank to purchase 350 turkeys to help its guests have a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
"We set about $2 million aside each year to help our community and we thought the food bank was a good fit," Fuccillo told Edmunds. "We are a part of the community and we like to let our customers know how appreciative we are of them."
Harry Chapin Food Bank provides food to more than 30,000 people through a network of 150 partner agencies every month. Last fiscal year, the food bank distributed 18.4 million pounds of food and other grocery items.
Fuccillo is set to open a third Florida Kia dealership in the first quarter of 2016 in North Pointe, which is midway between the dealership in Cape Coral and his second one in Wesley Chapel. He also has 24 dealerships in New York.
"The new Florida one sits on 70 acres, which will help us with our inventory at all three stores and making sure every customer is happy," he said.
Edmunds says: This dealership gets into the holiday spirit with a generous donation to a good cause.
