- Electronic Arts has released a trailer for its upcoming Need for Speed: Rivals game.

REDWOOD CITY, California — Electronic Arts has detailed the upcoming racing video game title Need for Speed: Rivals with an official trailer it released at the Gamescom trade fair in Germany.
The trailer's theme parallels most of the Need for Speed games — drive your exotic sports car as fast as humanly possible to evade the heat. The name Rivals comes from the fact that players can take on the role of a street racer or a cop, with different rewards and risks coming along with each designation.
Electronic Art's dynamic weather system adds a taste of reality to the gameplay by mixing in some volatile weather.
The hottest supercar available in the game is the Lamborghini Veneno, which will only see three production units made. Other cars spotted include the Pagani Zonda, Bugatti Veyron, Dodge Charger and Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
Need for Speed: Rivals will be available for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 19 and will also be a launch title for the next-generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One video game consoles.
Edmunds says: Need for Speed knows its role as a somewhat unrealistic, but extremely thrilling racing game.
