SANTA MONICA, California — Many dealerships are advertising special Memorial Day lease and financing deals that can mean big savings on a new car, truck or SUV.
For example, Pearson Buick GMC in Sunnyvale, California, is offering a 24-month lease on a 2016 Buick Verano sedan for $199 per month with $999 due at signing, and a similar lease on a 2016 Buick Encore SUV for $185 per month with $1,499 due at signing.
With the Chevy Memorial Day Sales Event, shoppers in the market for a crossover will find their choice of special lease deals or cash allowances ranging from $1,750 to $2,750 on the purchase of a 2016 Chevrolet Trax LT, Equinox LT and Traverse LT.
Naples Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Naples, Florida, is advertising the World's Largest Memorial Day Sale, with deals like a 36-month lease on a 2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Express pickup for $299 per month with $299 down, and a 24-month lease on a 2016 Chrysler Town & Country Touring minivan for $209 per month with $2,999 due at signing. There's also a $500 trade-assistance voucher available to qualified buyers.
The Memorial Day sale at Haldeman Ford Lincoln of Allentown, Pennsylvania, is offering zero-percent financing for 72 months, plus up to a $1,000 Ford Smart Bonus, on the purchase of a 2016 Ford Focus or Fusion sedan or an Escape, Edge or Explorer SUV.
Holiday Mazda of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, has Memorial Day deals that include a number of special lease and purchase offers, including a $500 bonus on top of other incentives, on such models as the 2016 Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 sedans and the 2016 Mazda CX-3 and CX-5 SUVs, as well as the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata convertible.
Memorial Day specials at Martin Nissan in Skokie, Illinois, include 24-month leases for just $99 per month with $2,999 due at signing, plus the first month's payment, on a 2016 Nissan Altima 2.5 S sedan or a 2016 Nissan Rogue S SUV.
Shelor Toyota of Christiansburg, Virginia, is holding a Memorial Day Madness sale with offers that include savings of $1,000 to $2,500 and rebates of $500 to $2,000 on models like a 2016 Toyota Camry sedan, Prius hybrid, Sienna minivan and Tundra pickup.
Note that most of these deals are limited-time offers, some apply only to the oldest vehicles currently in stock, and some are available only to existing customers. Also, offers can vary according to geographic area, trim level of the vehicle, the customer's credit rating and specific lease or financing terms.
